Before I never understood the mass appeal for Reloaded. Maybe it’s because I’ve never given it a real chance, but one day I turned on my TV and scrolled through the channels, then got bored. And the car chase scene from Reloaded was going on. And I got kind of a bad picture of the film from that, I think. To me, at least back then, and I know it’s moronic, it seemed like it went on for like 30 minutes or something. But if I had just finished that scene man! That CG explosion is the only good CG explosion I’ve ever seen 🙂

I like the Wizard of Oz one because he almost didn’t make it all the way through. Imagine if someone tried to jump out of a window and didn’t quite jump far enough and just landed on the sill. Ouch!

Great video James, but I think you forgot The Matrix. We had two great jump through window scenes. The first is when Trinity is running from agent Smith in the beggining of the movie. The second one is when Neo and Trinity save Morpheus from the agents (but I don’t think it counts cause Morpheus doesn’t break the window).

James dropped the ball on this one. The best window jumping scene BY FAR is in Jackie Chan’s Police Story 2, when Jackie jumps from a moving bus through a real window (and cuts himself up like a boss).

Great video James 😀 Though instead of that scene in Dark of the Moon, why didn’t you use the scene from the first film in which Optimus and Megatron fall/flies through a window, through a freaking office building, probably killing a lot, and then falls out through another window and wall…? It even uses minatures in some places. Bay have said, himself, that he likes to shoot things “dirty.” That’s at least one thing I’m happy about his works.

Ahhh, from the own will…mmm, too bad. The windows fall down in the italian movie “L’Uomo Puma” (or The Pumaman) are really awesome. I mean they are done so bad that nothing would ever top that, really great. The whole film is a “so bad it’s so good”. You don’t belive me? There is Donald Pleasence in it. I cracked up almost every minute watching that. Kids, never stop a movie after 10 minutes of sucking, they will show you hidden gems covered in shit.

My favorite window jump would have to be from The Matrix, when Trinity is running from the agents and jumps off the roof, does a barrel roll, crashes through the window, and tumbles down the stairs with guns out. Also, from the Dark Knight when Batman is driving his motor cycle, shoots the window, and then crashes into it to get into the building.
