That was awesome. I loved Thundercats as a kid. I remember collecting the sticker book for it and wishing I could have my own sword of omens.

Thanks for doing this interview. It brought back lots of memories, and it’s great to see others that were/are as much into the show as me.

Bring on the Thundercats movie! But do it well please :)

Nice interview. Yes willyp, Mike is clearly the bigger Thundercats fan, so I would expect more questions to come from him.

This was amazing — Couldn’t ask for a better Lion-O interview, the “Thundercats Hoooo!” at the end was fantastic. I couldn’t help but clap after watching it.
    Excellent video

I used to swing my arm around in the playground at school, chanting the Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats hooo !! I think I turned into a jackass and got into trouble… but I kept doing it anyhow. Can’t remember why I stopped.

I really hope they don’t make a Thundercats live action movie because you know what that pretty much automatically would mean, Michael Bay anal rape!

God damn this interview is fucking fantastic

  • November 29, 2012 at 3:52 am

Haha, it’s nice to see Mike really enjoying the interviewin with his childhood hero.

Like others said, he is kind of outclassing James R (don’t worry we still love you haha) in this one.

Really nice video, and Larry kennedy looks like a nice person to have a chat with.

Keep up the good work guys!!

Regnes, I enjoy content provided by both James and Mike. Obviously, yes, James is more polished and professional. There’s no doubt the main draw here is AGVN and the other videos by James.

But I completely disagree on your harsh assessment of Mike. I really enjoy the content of what Mike has to say in his videos like hidden gems /top games and game glitches. I know many others do, too. And it’s nice having more frequency in terms of content on Cinemassacre.

Mike has acknowledged numerous times it’s taken him a while to get comfortable on video and yes, he’s not as professional as James, but I just don’t get writing someone off because you don’t like his voice or he isn’t as “trained” in video.

Mike does have good things to say, interesting insights, and a good sense of comedy. You can tell he plans his videos well. I think you’re in a small minority of people who write off anything that isn’t “James quality” being part of the site, which to me is ridiculous.

The fact that he actually bought the cereal so he could autograph it for his fans speaks volumes… What a classy thing to do. Great stuff!

    Great interview guys!

It’s nice to finally be able to put a face to some of the voices that defined 80′s cartoons and commercials :).

That’s interesting! I never knew he did all those voices. There were definitely some fun factoids to be had there. And it’s too bad about the new show. I hope it comes back!
