October 1, 2012 at 2:33 am
So far so good!
Your commentary in this one was awesome James. It seemed ad-libbed. I don’t know if that was intentional or not or if I just insulted you, but I didn’t mean to and it worked out well!
October 1, 2012 at 2:39 am
For the last few consecutive years, the Cinemassacre Monster Madness marathon truly is the one centennial event that I look forward to seeing.
October 1, 2012 at 2:41 am
yay monster madness, it’s not October without it!!
October 1, 2012 at 2:52 am
Yes monster madness
October 1, 2012 at 3:06 am
Ah there is nothing like a long winded add (that you cannot skip) for something that has nothing to do with the actual thing you are trying to watch and of course you have no intention of ever buying!
GO TO HELL G-RAID AND FUCK YOU THUNDERBOLT!
October 1, 2012 at 3:25 am
the monster that james said he “didn’t know whether to laugh, or shit” his pants at first glance reminds me of one of the aliens from the cantina intro in episode IV
October 1, 2012 at 3:34 am
October 1, 2012 at 3:52 am
Don’t worry all…In 2 more day, another Monster Madness episode will be out …Until then, i’m gonna watch some old Monster Madness…Here is my favorite episode.
October 1, 2012 at 5:00 am
Aaaaaah, yes, MONSTER MADNESS is back…
It always amazes me the talent CORMAN could get for a movie. This one does look like it has some great gore!
October 1, 2012 at 5:02 am
5:08 someone forgot his messenger on?
(or am I hearing things?)
October 1, 2012 at 6:40 am
Big fan of Monster Madness and great episode. Can’t wait to see whats next. But you mentioned Alien didn’t have a scene where someone was fucked to death, actually it did. When Veronica Cartwright’s character (Lambert) was killed it was heavily implied that the Alien raped her to death. Ridley Scott didn’t flat out confirm this but in an interview he mentioned that her death wasn’t like the others (her screams aren’t that of the rest of the crew who were flat out killed) and in the scene her bare legs are showing implying that her pants were ripped off.
Just a little tidbit of Alien info, great episode and I can’t wait for the next one.
October 1, 2012 at 7:30 am
Never heard of this movie before, but it looks right up my alley. I’ve met Sid Haig a few times before and I’ll see him again at the Rock and Shock convention in a couple weeks. He’s kind of a dick.
Great video. What an awesome start to Monster Madness.
October 1, 2012 at 8:15 am
This movie looks damn fabulous. I’m not a huge horror fan’, but you really made me want to watch it and… Thank you !
October 1, 2012 at 8:32 am
Yep, that was cool! Way to go James.
October 1, 2012 at 8:55 am
Nice one James, I look forward to these movie marathon videos each year, how about a Gamera-thon next year, it worked for Godzilla in 2008, that was arguably your best Monster Madness yet!
October 1, 2012 at 9:24 am
Best time of the year.
October 1, 2012 at 10:16 am
James should host one of those goofy Public access shows where they show old horror and scifi movies.
October 1, 2012 at 10:18 am
MONSTER MADNESS! good to have you back ol’ Buddy
October 1, 2012 at 10:34 am
Oh that’s awesome, so all monster madness will be released only here, and with this shitty springboard player that makes the video unwatchable for many people HURRAY
October 1, 2012 at 10:36 am
I’m in heaven… Every obscure horror classic I go around showing to all my friends will now be reviewed by my favorite funnyman of all time! Can’t wait for terror-vision… ha!!!
October 1, 2012 at 10:53 am
This makes October so much better than it already is.
October 1, 2012 at 11:07 am

lol laughed really hard.
October 1, 2012 at 1:23 pm
I have memories of this movie from my childhood, I’ve spent years wondering what the name of it was, until now it was just a vague memory.
Thank you for finally solving a mystery plaguing me for like more than 15 years.
Also, always love some Monster Madness
Hurra for Monster Madness ! But dont spoil the movies too much, I plan to watch every one of them.
October 1, 2012 at 1:31 pm
Hi James, thanks for your return of MONSTER MADNESS.
Personally, I think GALAXY OF TERROR is a cheesy alien rip-off with good art work (except the McDonalds parts), nice effects and one of the best death by monster / monster sex scenes ever, but with a bad script and bad acting. So, that’s my opinion.
I’m really excited for your next video. Keep on going, James!
October 1, 2012 at 1:42 pm
Thank you for making October more awesome every year James! It`s nice to have the best Halloween Tradition Ever back for another year!

The sex scene reminds me of Evil Dead where the chick is banged by the tree! Total insanity XD
October 1, 2012 at 2:32 pm
Thank God for Monster Madness. Clearly even the AVGN learns from it too.
October 1, 2012 at 2:40 pm
MUAHAHAHAHA! MONSTER MASH!!!!!
October 1, 2012 at 3:09 pm
Haha, last night I spent a little time trying to guess what movie you’d review first and I considered Galaxy of Terror. I’ve only seen about half of it, I’ll have to watch the rest of it soon.
Great video by the way, I liked all the little 80s references and your irreverent attitude throughout.
October 1, 2012 at 3:12 pm
Oh man, this movie was horrible. The visuals are great, but everything else is complete trash and boring trash at that.
October 1, 2012 at 3:31 pm
WHAT IN THE FUCK JAMES??? WHAT THE FUCKEVER HAPPENED TO THAT LOVELY NOSTALGIC OVER THE TOP VOICE ANNOUNCING “MMMOOOOONNSTER MAADDNESSS”???? WHY CHANGE IT??? I’MM ALL ABOU CHANGE FOR THE BETTER BUT THAT COLORFULL INTRO IS JUST GAY FRO HALLOWEEN MAN… YOU WOULD KNOW BETTER!!!

October 1, 2012 at 4:24 pm
Awesome video James. This movie looks cool, I’m surprised i never saw it! I’m totally going to check it out now. That cover art is terrific too! So glad Monster Madness is back, it’s seriously become such a staple of my Halloween seasons now, thanks so much for doing it.
October 1, 2012 at 4:48 pm
Awesome. I love Monster Madness, so happy that it’s October already.
October 1, 2012 at 5:00 pm
awesome. pure and simple. I may have to look into this film in the future. October is now upon us , Halloween is around the corner , and Monster Madness is back once again. I look forward to seeing more this year , and I hope this becomes a continuing tradition james. outstanding job as usual. you never fail to impress. ^-^
October 1, 2012 at 5:13 pm
fucking loved it.
October 1, 2012 at 5:14 pm
Excellent ! Let the MM goodness flow.
October 1, 2012 at 5:25 pm
Love your commentary along with this, great humor to add to the horror for a well balance video. Loving it so far.
October 1, 2012 at 5:42 pm
is that the theme music from krull in the background ?
its just brought back a heap of childhood memories.
October 1, 2012 at 5:58 pm
This movie seems so awesome,
October 1, 2012 at 6:15 pm
Just took a look and saw that Bill Paxton was an uncredited set decorator…hmmm, seems like he had it in with Cameron before they both made it in Hollywood.
October 1, 2012 at 6:17 pm
One more thing, the giant worm was apparently nicknamed “Maggie the maggot”.
So what you’re telling me is that we just watched inter-species lesbian rape?!?!
James, that’s just messed up.
October 1, 2012 at 6:18 pm
yes, so happy your able to still do monstermadnes. what with all the other stuff your doing. who cares if its only evry other day its still awesome! thanks!!!!
October 1, 2012 at 6:27 pm
I really think Sig Haig reached age 42 in 1981 and, for whatever reason, just stayed that way the next 20 years. He looks just as he did in House of 1000 Corpses/The Devil’s Rejects. Some crazy shit.
Thanks for continuing the Monster Madness tradition. October just wouldn’t be the same without it.
October 1, 2012 at 6:29 pm
“Dipshits” LMAFO! Starting out with the right attitude. Awesome! James you are the best.
October 1, 2012 at 6:40 pm
GREAT start to this year’s Monster Madness…..you have turned me on to soo much horror and sci-fi over the last two years that I cant thank you enough…I go through bins of cheap DVD”s at every store picking up those 8 Horror Movies in One deals, hoping to get something good out of it…
Hell for 5 Bucks why not?
Also, After that chick got fucked to death…I gotta say she looked to have a pretty hot body lying there covered in……Maggie the Maggot NUT…Who was she?
October 1, 2012 at 6:57 pm
Yeah, and some chick gets fucked to death by a maggot
October 1, 2012 at 7:07 pm
reminds me about the master from doctor who
October 1, 2012 at 7:17 pm

October 1, 2012 at 8:18 pm
Thank god for Monster Madness!!
October 1, 2012 at 9:33 pm
Awesome! It’s hard to imagine Halloween without Monster Madness counting down the days! Thanks, James!
October 1, 2012 at 10:18 pm
So happy Monster Madness is back! I love October
October 1, 2012 at 11:08 pm
I saw this at the Alamo Drafthouse Terror Tuesday (horror movies for $1) and it was fun to watch in the theater while downing some beers.
October 1, 2012 at 11:20 pm
@RedrumnCoke :Nice, There is about to be an Alamo Drafthouse built 2 blocks from my house in Richardson ,Tx
Great video James, love the Corman flix
October 1, 2012 at 11:23 pm
I AM MAD WITH MONSTER MADNESS
The spaceship seat-belts looked like they came from a car . . . probably because they DID come from a car. You know Roger “make a movie for $3.56″ Corman – he probably had Cameron stop by the auto wrecking yard for some props on the way in for that day’s shoot.
October 2, 2012 at 12:05 am
James could you post this on You Tube seriosuly I was exited to watch this, but Springboard just keeps stopping every 2 seconds, even when the video is all loaded, could you put it on You Tube, because there is only one weird language one there, Thanks
October 2, 2012 at 12:28 am
I applaud you James for just coming out and saying the maggot fucks a woman to death instead of sugarcoating it! Bravo!!
October 2, 2012 at 12:45 am
Yeah monster madness is here !!!! I ‘m very happy that you took time to do this … each year I’m waiting for this moment in October the monster madness reviews…Thanks I’m gonna enjoy this month with horrors and terrors of the 80′s !!
October 2, 2012 at 1:00 am
Vid not playing, just getting springboard screen. Jonesing for some MM!
October 2, 2012 at 1:32 am
you know whats bullshit springboard video player!!!!!!!
October 2, 2012 at 3:15 am
Sadly, the goofy cartoonish sound effects at 1:40 can also be heard in John Carpenter’s “The Thing” during the CPR scene. Not that I’m dissing that movie, it’s fucking amazing 100%
October 2, 2012 at 3:26 am
I’d be interested in seeing a review of The Hidden
October 2, 2012 at 4:17 am
Please Review Bad Taste by Peter Jackson. Great early film by him
October 2, 2012 at 4:22 am
Have to check this movie..
October 2, 2012 at 8:00 am
Who was the one to design the cover art for this movie? It dosen’t resemble anything that happens in the movie. Maybe becuse if they had a gaint maggot fuck a chick to death on the cover it woulden’t be very appeling.
October 2, 2012 at 8:35 am
Definitely one I need to check out! Looks nuts!
October 2, 2012 at 9:44 am
And out of this world again.. the atmosphere reminds me of what Metroid Prime should’ve been. still a great game.
October 2, 2012 at 3:23 pm
That scene with the maggot raping the lady actually kind of turned me on
October 2, 2012 at 10:38 pm
The Gate would be a nice movie to review! Had some really creepy and well made special effects!
October 2, 2012 at 11:53 pm
The cover to this film was the reason why I tried watching it on Netflix awhile back. Yeah, the cover couldn’t have been any more misleading. so truth be told, I wound up fast forwarding to all the death scenes. ..eh.
October 3, 2012 at 1:13 pm
Ever since I played Deadly Premonition I wondered what this movie was like. Thanks for reviewing this.
October 4, 2012 at 9:08 pm
…..I’m fucking speechless. Giant maggot death rape. …I just don’t know what to say.
October 5, 2012 at 5:54 pm
If that lady survived, wouldn’t she like give birth to giant baby maggots?
October 6, 2012 at 8:45 am
Great review, James!
October 8, 2012 at 1:24 am
Beats getting fucked to death by a mutant snowman!
October 10, 2012 at 3:53 am
I’ve been waiting for you to continue on the 80′smonster madness for so long now I almost forgot. Thanks for the inspiration James!
October 15, 2012 at 5:50 am
James, I saw Sid Saturday night at the Rock and Shock convention in Worchester, MA. He did a panel where he talked about his career, which was very interesting. Then when he got to talking about Galaxy of Terror I was thinking of this video, and no lie his story was almost verbatim from your script. I realize there’s only so much to talk about with his involvement in the film, but it was almost like he was doing a reading from your video; nothing new added or left out. I wish I recorded it, but maybe someone did so it might be on Youtube or maybe it will turn up in a extra or on his site somewhere down the road, but keep an eye out. Either you completely nailed his experience doing this movie, or him or someone who works for him saw the video and just took everything from it. Either way that’s pretty cool, right?
October 15, 2012 at 10:31 pm
Thank you for doing a month of 80′s movies. This means I can sit back, relax, and discover even more shitty movies than I ever intended!
October 21, 2012 at 2:45 pm
BTW, those seat belts, they really come off a car. We used to have a Pontiac 6000, and it had the exact same seatbelts. Our were grey however, so maybe they painted them.
October 27, 2012 at 11:51 am
I’ve saw it on Netflix, nice review James, but, the movie is so boring I just skipped the bs to see all the death scenes hahahahha
December 31, 2012 at 1:24 am
I didn’t discover this flick until this past summer while looking for Corman movies on Netflix. Truly a classic. I agree with James’ opinion about the set design. I’m surprised Corman didn’t reuse the better set shots in later movies.
March 28, 2013 at 3:39 pm
Hey James, I just met Sid Haig, and I asked him some questions about this movie, You should check it out!!!
May 22, 2013 at 12:11 am
wow I haven;t seen this one, but I’ll have to check it out!
October 1, 2013 at 8:58 pm
Thank you. I remember this film but be damned if I could remember the name. I think you could almost call this film a predecessor to ‘The Sphere’.
October 13, 2013 at 5:16 am
Or Event Horizon.
October 7, 2013 at 2:07 pm
You know what James. My mother used to have a Pontiac 6000, and they had the same fucking seatbelts. You are right, these come from a real car.
