Why stop there? Gozilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah, Zarkorr and Kraa! Giant Monsters All-Out Attack S.O.S. Final Wars from the Sea!
June 21, 2012 at 2:14 pm
Well, if a tiny teenage mall tramp asked me to beat the giant monster, I would say “Sure, but first take me to your planet.”
June 21, 2012 at 2:15 pm
Kraa vs Reptilian would be awesome!
June 21, 2012 at 2:23 pm
Nice review, BTW did you or Mike ever watch the Godzilla: The Series TV show. It’s based as sequel to the crappy American 1998 Godzilla movie.
I don’t remember it that well cause it’s been years since I watched any of it but I can say that it is as stupid and dump as the movie was……..if not worse

Why stop with Starcraft39’s and Wendell Parker’s suggestions. ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING! The Ultimate Showdown! 😉
June 21, 2012 at 3:17 pm
Zarkorr, Bullshit, Zarkorr, Bullshit, Zarkorr, Bullshit…….hahahahaha
June 21, 2012 at 3:51 pm
The godzilla title on the building looked more like the title of the 1998 godzilla film, they know that one was bad 😛
June 21, 2012 at 4:29 pm
Great for having a good company and burst to laughs!
June 21, 2012 at 4:38 pm
Slayer40k mentioned above that the cartoon series of Godzilla was worse than the movie but from memory that really wasn’t the case. They threw in other monsters like Mothra and they even had a baby ‘zilla which was cool since it was like a mix between the US and Japanese movies.

REVIEW BATMAN ANIMATED FOR MONSTER MADNESS!
June 21, 2012 at 8:40 pm
Dude, how on earth do you stumble across these obscure horror flicks that nobody (or very few people) ever heard of? You’re amazing.
June 21, 2012 at 9:28 pm
Zarkorr, bullshit, Zarkorr, bullshit, and finally Zarkorr with bullshit!
Compared to Reptillian, Kraa is a pussy!
June 21, 2012 at 9:34 pm
Damn! That alien has some rockin’ titties! They’re standing straight up!
June 22, 2012 at 6:54 am
@Twin Smoke I dunno which one your talking about but the one I’m talking about here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godzilla:_The_Series had none of the original Godzilla monsters in the show. It does have Jr in it, but it’s not really circled around the monster it’s the same as the movie it only follows the cast from the movie mainly, Zilla Jr only appears in the show when a monster attacks at the end of each episode. And what was worse is that the character who Matthew Broderick played the movie, to Zilla Jr is seen as his father and he gets used and controlled by the characters in the show. At least is the movie Zilla was a rouge monster causing destruction

Nice review, I really appreciated it, haven’t seen a James review in a long time. I like Mike’s reviews too, don’t get me wrong!
I watched it both here and on spike, hope it’s gonna help.

That’s lord inglip!
June 22, 2012 at 10:59 am
That Space ship in Kraa! looks more like a borg sphere from star trek.
June 22, 2012 at 2:49 pm
So glad James is back!
June 22, 2012 at 7:36 pm
Sometimes I think that some of these movies would have been better with Power Ranger villains, the monstesr are so bad.
June 23, 2012 at 1:49 pm
Zarkorr looks like one of those Death Claws from Fallout. I hate those things.
June 23, 2012 at 8:16 pm
i didnt know rodan was obscure…
June 24, 2012 at 2:48 pm
Glad to have you back James!
I’d like to see these 2 beasts take on Godzilla and Gamera; With King Kong waiting to fight the winner.
June 24, 2012 at 10:36 pm
C’mon James, we all know Godzilla could take on both these monsters and whip their ass. Let’s face it, Godzilla was never killed by a fucking mailman!
June 25, 2012 at 6:14 pm
Haha… wow. I can’t believe that Zarkorr movie. The ending looked anti-climactic, to say the least. Killed by a mailman with a MacGuffin item?!
The other movie looked bad too, but more fun in its silliness. Gotta’ say I was disappointed by the Zarkorr mall tramp, though. I was hoping she’d be cuter. That Planet Patrol looked like Power Rangers meets Starfleet! Oh man…

As far as I know, “magyar”, which is actually pronounced something like “majar”, means “hungarian” in Hungarian. Maybe the monster is supposed to be Hungarian? Quite a weird choice, since there aren’t a lot of stereotypes about this nation that I know of. I’m from Poland, which is very close to Hungary both geographically and diplomatically, and have been to Hungary three times, and all I can say about those people is that they like spicy food and alcohol, tend to be overweight, speak an unusual for these parts (non-slavic) language and are usually friendly towards my people. Not exactly “comedic relief” material in my opinion.
June 30, 2012 at 11:31 pm
@ko6i: lol, it’s actually pronounced ‘madyar’. i’m half hungarian and speak the language, so i should know. and what you said about spicy food, alcohol and being overweight: totally spot-on. they (or i should probably say we) do tend to look like that little monster..
anyway, cheers and love from hungary. as the old saying goes: polak-wenger dwa bratanki. 🙂
