@Dano Angelo I’ve actually heard rumors that Tim Burton was going to be involved in an Addams Family movie. It would, mostly like, suck ass, like (IMO) most of his adaptations. I love a lot of Burton’s original works, but his adaptations leave a lot to be desired, mainly because he doesn’t seem to understand that his “style” doesn’t WORK on just anything.

And Mike needs stuff to post so fans don’t start bitching about “HEY WHERE’S THE NEW CONTENT” while James is doing the movie. Not all of us were able to buy the DVDs, also, so it’s cool to be able to see some of this stuff.

To be honest, I think you need to start having commentary of all if not most of your nerd videos! Im a fellow film maker and I absolutely love it when you talk about film! You have a quality in your voice and knowledge of film that speaks to so many people. Perhaps a new segemnt on your DVD’s can be commentaries! Its just a suggestion but I thought I’d let you know that I’d watch your commentaries anyday! I watch commentaries for all the films I purchase and I would sure as hell watch yours! Why? Because I know you dont spend Hollywood dollars on your productions. I appreciate and respect your D.I.Y mentality and therefore I (and millions of others) can relate to your work. You’re such an inspirational and aspiring artist and as much as I adore your Nerd episodes, I also Adore all your personal films and commentaries! Your, “Making Of A Nerd Video: Barbie” was extremely inspirational to me! Its awesome to see your method of making a film and I admire that! Still…. Still angry with this review. Not that you think the game sucks, but not giving it a try now and a re-review. Yes, the whole gun thing sucks and the easist way is to grind to max or 1 less than max, then you play the game. It’s pretty cool to see the bosses and the rest of the Adams Family. 2 bars of life does suck, but the manual says from 2 to 4 bars of life….. I’m calling for a replay!!!!!

This is one of my favorites too. I think this may have been the first AVGN vid where I had actually played the game before. I didn’t dislike it back when I was a kid, mostly because we also rented it and I pretty much always expected games to be hard. But after watching the review I don’t have much of a desire to ever play it again.

can someone answer me a question? Just how is James doing as far as AVGN is concerned? I hear a lot of people on google saying he sucks–um, I’m not liking this too well cuz its making me feel as though he may stop making AVGN videos. I hope this never happens. @classicgamelover85 James will always make videos. It’s his passion. While he might not keep doing AVGN forever, I don’t think he’s going to finish any time soon. The only reason the last few haven’t been as good was because he was either too rushed, or he was busy with other things. Spielberg Games was one of the last ones he put a lot of effort into and it definitely showed. I loved that episode. So don’t worry about it too much. If he decides to finish AVGN, which is unlikely to happen anytime soon IMO, he’ll always be making tons of other videos that will make us laugh.

If they even cared about James and his work they would know that he is out working hard on the AVGN movie in California. @classicgamelover85 His newest AVGN videos are as fun to watch as his older ones ever were. He didn’t do sketches as much, but that was only ever the icing on the cake as far as I’m concerned. Now he’s making a movie, and that’ll be worth all the episodes we won’t have gotten up until that point. Unlike most of today’s Hollywood, the guy can actually write good stuff. His mere 200k budget movie will be far more entertaining than most multi million dollar PoS movies Hollywood throws out there.(Like Avatar. I fucking hate that crap.)

@KatieByrd Try using Mozilla and an Addon called AdBlock. I get no ads on any video, anywhere. I commonly watch videos at tgwtg, spoony, angryjoe, phelous, snob, avgn, etc, and I never get any ads. They boot straight to the video and it runs until it’s done without any interruptions. I thought this feature was common knowledge at this point, as I’ve had this for years. The only website I get anything other than perfection on is Hulu. My Hulu videos still pause for the 30 or whatever seconds when an ad is “suppose” to be playing but it’s just a blakc quiet screen until the timer runs out. That’s it. The rest don’t even do that. They just load the video and play start to finish, there’s nothing else, which is good. I come for the show. I don’t come for the 10millionth healthcare product or applebees shout out.
You can’t really argue that I’m hurting anyone, because I never went to any advertised sites before, and now I still don’t. There’s no difference once so ever on their end. I just don’t have to be burdened seeing them anymore. Unless you WANT to see the ads and go to them sometimes, then there’s no point in having to see them. They just waste your time and also your bandwidth for having to load crap you don’t want to even watch. Sure people like James are paid to have them on there, but I’m sure as hell not paid to watch them.

@DrainBlut If you think about it, you are hurting somebody important by blocking the ads. Your hurting Cinemassacre. Almost all revenue on a site that provides free content comes from ad clicks. Generally they will get about 25 cents per ad click and a little more if that click results in a sale or signing up for a newsletter.
It is getting harder and harder to find ad portals that will pay on unique visitor counts precisely because of software like AdBlock.
