@Mike/Cinemassacre Dude Mike, I look forward to this every Sunday night/monday morning, just like I used to look forward to AVGN episodes. Motherfuckin’ Monday has come a long way. I watched this and loved it. I am going through some very stressful treatment as my health is failing and my wife said it was the first time she has seen me laugh or smile in days. She was very thankful that I have something like Cinemassacre to keep my spirits up and something to look forward to. My treatment has taken its toll on me and its hard to look forward to anything between all the shots and pills and Doctor appointments, but by god any time I see you or James and a new video its like my little escape from reality. Its my “drug.” It might be the best drug that I have to take to make myself feel better during my treatment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Seriously Thank you Mike and James.

This is awesome. I love getting to see reviews from Mike. Not only is he just one of those awesome guys who you’d love to hang out with, for the most part, he’s just as much of an expert as James is with everything. I’m sure there are a few areas that each know more about then the other but. Plus..Mike has been there from day 1. Hell, if it wasn’t for him, those very first AVGN episodes would have never been seen. So in a way, Mike is the reason James has become a superstar. And he’s played many characters in the episode. Anyway, awesome review, I love getting to see ones done by Mike. I’ve been a huge fan from the beggining.

In a way the only thing i dont like (sometimes) about the Cinemassacre movie reviews, is how the whole movie plot is revealed. Even the ending sometimes. I mean it would get people who dont like spoilers really angry, or it would ruin it for others that want to search for the movie and sit down and watch it.
But on the other hand, i think its impossible to do it other ways, and achieve the level of presentation u guys are doing. Also less content, means that u guys can make less fun of it during the review.
So dont change ur methods and keep up the awesome work guys! This comes from a person who has seen almost all the videos in here, lol.

This reminds me so much of a film called The Borrower. After Alien Nation, it seems every director with half a budget decided to do a movie involving intergalactic fugitives and/or refugees who invariably draw the attention of earth-based police forces – with one renegade cop who doesn’t play by the rules! This stuff just writes itself! *scribble scribble*

I love this movie! And I totally agree with the blu-ray release..I think for now the best version of the movie is on DVD Region 2 which is at least widescreen format and I think is pretty good quality overall. That VHS you reviewed looks pretty horrid!

Ha, I remember this movie from when I was a kid, parents had it on VHS and I used to watch it a lot. Though its title was Dark Angel on VHS not “Come in peace” I know you mentioned that the DVD version has that title too but the same title was used here in the U.K. Was a good fun little movie and believe it or not, I remembered Dolph Lundrad from this movie and Universal Soldiers more than I do Rock IV.

I think, you’re right. Dark Angels is maybe not a great but a really enjoyable movie and belongs to every collection of 90′s of classic syifi movies.
How my nickname says, I’m a German and I know this movie with its German synchronization. When I saw your review, I had to notice, how imprecise and uncharitable this movie was synchronized, e.g. the final words “I come in peace” and “you go in pieces” is in back translated: “I come in peace” and “you rest in peace!”
By the way, do somebody else know the movie Death Machine?
