James created Cinemassacre, his production company, a LONG time before AVGN was even a twinkle in his eye.James has always been about movies, Cinemassacre has always been about movies. Maybe you don’t know this, maybe you’re someone who’s only seen some AVGN videos, came here expecting only that, are are confused to find non-video game related stuff? Nope. This site has a vast archive of videos. Take some time and go check them out. I highly recommend it. Most of them are either films James has made, or they’re related to or ABOUT films/cartoons/etc. Only some, mostly AVGN, are about video games. It’s okay. You’ll get it in time.

How about this:
After the events of Psycho, Norman escapes and runs to NYC. There he becomes infatuated by Ann Darrow and decides he wants to BE her. He follows her onto the Venture (Ann finds out that they are going back to the island seeking treasure and she wants to protect any giant apes that might be left).
When they get to the island Norman kills Ann, dresses like her, and escapes into the island where the son of Kong becomes infatuated with him/her.
Now Norman must fight off the son of Kong and escape the pursuing crew while also wrestling with his own inner demons as he tries to leave behind his new alternate personality of Ann, the only thing that might save him from a lifetime as a gorilla’s concubine.

David Lynch could pull off every one of these. In one film. And you’d believe it, but not because it was believable, but because you’d be so expectantly confused going into it. Not because of the content, but because it’s a Lynch film.

My take on Norman Bates vs King Kong. Bates is the zookeeper in a monster zoo. King Kong is captured and brought there. Some of the other monsters mysteriously die, and it turns out Bates is killing them. King Kong solves the mystery. At the end they have an epic battle.

Norman Bates has a better chance of fighting the American King Kongs since they are about 25 or 30 feet tall.
The Toho one is scaled up to be around the same size as Godzilla (Otherwise King Kong is about the size of a monkey to Godzilla.) and is around 300 feet tall, so Norman really would have no chance whatsoever.
At least with the American Kong Norman could use a rocket launcher or something, with the Toho one… well you see in the Godzilla movies how well armies of tanks, and fighter planes work against them, so there’s not much ol Norman could do…
