I Love AVGN and mike, but i feel mike is kinda bringing down the vibe of it over all. i wish it was more james, and leave mike behind the scenes. the humour he just doesnt have the same caliber and since he has been more involved alot of people that watch this content along side of me have gotten bored and stopped. All and all mike is great but i believe james should be heading the material as he comes through with much better comedic presence and truley people i talk to miss the delivery he brings. mikes just lacking. Im not trolling, just stating an opion felt by many

@tlgiguere Wow. I totally disagree with you 100%. I think they make a great team, and the vids wouldn’t be the same at all without Mike.
I also take issue with how you try to make your opinion seem to be shared by a lot of people. How many people are we talking about, and who? Having a truthy gut-feeling isn’t the same as having a pulse on the opinion of the vast majority of cinemassacre fans. Most opinions I’ve read on Cinemassacre support Mike’s work, so I can’t imagine who you’re talking on behalf of. Your circle of friends or something?

When they get together, it’s awesome because they are real friends and it shows. That’s just my opinion though. I appreciate ALL that Cinemassacre has to offer. Not only because it’s free, but because real honest to goodness heart goes into the art on this site no matter who creates it. You don’t have to like every piece of work to appreciate it.

@tlgiguere I remember first seeing mike in board james and finding out he plaed the joker in the batman reviews and bugs bunny and all that awesome stuff, I was actually saying, I’d like to see more from him. While I do miss seeing James more then we are, he’s making the movie so its understandable. Just think how boring it would be around here WITHOUT mike right now, I’m glad he’s stepped up to help out more.

@AndyHolt I had some viewing issues a while back, I had to update flash shockwave player , but if you are using google chrome, you might have to turn off some plugin’s. Try some different browsers maybe?

@TrevorBall I agree. I supported the movie with 30$ and I’m proud to have done so, but I did mainly to get the signed photo. I mean, probably I’d have given something, but not as much if there wasn’t a direct reward. For the DVDs I haven’t bought them yet, because they cost like 50$, and I live in Italy, so it’s a long and expensive shipping, anyway I’m pretty sure I’ll buy them some day, but every time they post a bonus feature here, I feel a little less like buying them. Still, probably they only post 5 years old contents, so newer DVDs are still probably worth it.

I just saw a bug…pretty cool for me since I aint good finding movie error. When James sitting on bugs, you can see his head facing up but the feet is facing up as well. That means his head is the other side. It’s just not possible.

Classic animation will never be surpasses. There are great cartoons from later times. But the old WB, Disney, MGM, etc. cartoons, are where it’s at. Just the fact that they were cartoon shorts made for theater, with theatrical budgets…..they were and are amazing.Also, I grew up with this game, and it is not a bad game at all. AVGN obviously over-dramatizes for comedy. But I really liked it as a kid.

yea growin up watchin tv in the early 90s looney tunes was on like 6 times a day, on like two or 3 channels. Shit in the early to mid 90s they still showed all the old cartoons. So i got the best of both worlds the new and the old. Which was awesome i feel bad for kids these days.

I truly feel blessed for growing up in the 80′s. Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies were on Nickelodeon all day long, to the point I got sick of seeing them. I remember it always came on after Wild and Crazy Kids. Now kids just watch garbage. I have a son being born in 2 months, and I am planning to raise him on Thundercats, Silverhawks, Captain Planet, He-Man, Ninja Turtles, Doug, Ren and Stimpy, and classic Simpsons.

@kutuup @diredusk James went through a bit of a fluctuation but seems to be back to good ole normal now. if you check out the old vids, like this one, and then look at say “Terminator” you can tell he picked up a few pounds, possibly some post marriage weight from the wifes cookin
Now mike, he lost a shit ton of weight. check out some of the old board james vids and compare to now. maybe they’re gym buddies?
