Me + Cammy + Bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 + cheap hotel room + 3 hours? = A lot of fun for me.

They’d probably need to use Dental records to identify my body. I’d be o.k. with that.

    She’s toooo HOT!!! Frickin’ MEOW!!

    Nice job James!

I thought the video itself was pretty “meh” though.

  • January 17, 2012 at 5:03 pm

Teheheh…I was surprised that was your voice! It’s a lot more…hum…tidy than your usual Nerd or reviewer voice.

The video was very neat and surely more good than the official movie XD

The production value was outstanding, yet it just sucked, kind of like the original street fighter movie lolz. I did however about bust a nut in my pants when I saw Cammy.

    January 17, 2012 at 5:38 pm

Really good production values for a fan film. My favourite part was definitely Cammy’s ass though.

Chun Li’s outfit looks like it’s from a crappy production of Alice in Wonderland…

Cammy’s outfit, though… um, I can’t even remember what her face looked like. Actually, I don’t think I even once looked at her face. Very nice.

@ghost True, she looks hot. But….her voice….a big turnoff.

  • January 17, 2012 at 7:38 pm

I want my 5 minutes backwtf is this crap ? Who authorise this crap to go public ? Someone gave him money … who did he (use your perverted imagination here).

Seriously talking, the camera angles where really classic: can’t see the face so put someone else and at the same time the hits looks like it really had an impact on the body plus a whole lot of other negative impact because of that angle. Choreagraphy was really mediocre too because its too slow and the moves are too predictable. Also it is me or sometimes the actors are looking at each others hands and feet ? in fights, you dont do that…well not directly anyways. The costumes…do I need to begin on that part ? can’t wait to see the others ahahah.

They are b movies which are sometimes better than the blockbuster hits in a certain way but this … i would categories it as a D movie.

Note: I would do a lot of nasty things with that ass…yup Cammy’s ass is the only thing that will make money with that movie. Just introduce a love scene with another character with that classic side body look and some modern front softcore shoot and you got some profit here lol.

    • metalcommand

      January 17, 2012 at 11:43 pm

@bigbangnet It’s an non-profit, fan-maded movie. Probably didn’t cost more than a few hundred bucks. Don’t treat it like a cinema movie; it’s just a (silly) ode to street fighter.

      • January 18, 2012 at 11:59 am

@[email protected] Even for a “silly” movie like you say, there are some basic improvements that can be made in order to make it acceptable – minimum standards in other words. just saying it needs improvements before it gets out to the public. Short budget or not, people will probably react the same way I do…or even worst.

      • metalcommand

        January 20, 2012 at 12:41 am

@bigbangnet ‘People will react the same way I do’. Well, not everyone shares your opinion, so that’s where you’re wrong I guess. You’re talking about a, b and even d movies. Well, if this would hit theater; yeah, it would be a D – movie. But this is just an internet movie, not meant for sale or high quality. Yeah, there could be much improvement in the choreography, but for an internet movie it looked not really that bad at all. Nice costumes, nice envoriments, nice shots, good quality overall and some nice CGI.

I’m not the only one who found Cammy saying, “Oh, I’m not worrying about that” to feel like she was setting up a lesbo porn flick?

You know, I’d like to see that porno, actually. These same two actresses would do just fine. 😀

I’ve never posted on Cinemassacre before, but I felt needed to in this situation. Eddie Lebron tries God Bless Him and every time he pulls together something amazing given his budget, I see people on lie gripe and complain because it’s not a hundred million dollar spectacular.

My favorite part of Cinemassacre is the Monster Madness and my favorite installment of Monster Madness was Camp Cult. Hollywood movies with big budgets and slick production values are nice, but after a while they become so perfect that they feel manufactured, plastic almost. Low Budget cinema with all its flaws has an organic feel; a heard and soul and vision that (no matter how good or bad the final product may be) is worth experiencing in its own right.

I with Mr. Lebron could get multi-million dollar budgets because he cares about gaming and subject matter. As for the film, yes it is flawed. I was really hoping for a spinning bird kick that never came, but you know what? The moves they used were straight out of the game, the actresses looked good and I will admit that Chun-Li’s outfit would have looked better if a different material had been used, but you know what?

IT’S A FRICKIN’ FAN FILM!!! GET OVER IT PEOPLE!!!!

Thank you for posting and participating in this short movie, Mr. Rolfe. I appreciate it and I’m sure others will too. Eddie Lebron is a treasure to the Gaming community, whether they know it or not.

@Kid Nikki You are right of course. The actresses did a good job and the production value was good. My only real issue with it is they have basically been portrayed as BFFs in the games (I won’t waste your time posting all the trailers/anime shorts where these two are teamed up) but here they are made to build up cliche pre-cat fight personal tension. It may seem a small nitpick, but one of the things that you really hope for in a fan film is that they get the details right that Hollywood would miss (because, as you say, a fan actually cares about the subject matter). The whole, “Why wait? Let’s fight now…” is totally what I’d expect from Hollywood. In game these two are pros. All the motivation they needed to go at it was to draw each other next and they’d go all out because they are fighters. I’d have preferred that. But all in all it was a gift to the gaming community (as you said). Loved the idea of the training room changing the setting. That was pretty cool.

    January 18, 2012 at 5:02 am

It’s well made but he should have used less attractive but maybe better (faster) fighters (or use more close up to hide the fact they’re very slow).

  • TasosSaroglou

    January 18, 2012 at 6:41 am

Well if the live action film look like that one a bit at least it would be more decent, though movies like those are more apealing on anime.

    January 18, 2012 at 10:33 am

Hahaha so many comments on Cammy’s ass, and they are right. She had a pretty nice body. Her lack of fighting coordination makes me think shes into gymnastics or something.

I’m not going to pick apart the film. It was just okay. A lot of hard work went into it, but somehow it only came off as “just okay”. Oh well, maybe next time.

Lol James Rolfe as a computer voice!

    >>I<< want James Rolfe’s Voice as my “Computer’s default voice” instead of MS SAM.

Also imagine replacing Siri’s voice with James’!!!

Next time you yell “Fuck you!” at your iPhone, it responds “Don’t know how to fuck something.”

James, I know that you are an avid gamer, such as myself, however, screwattack has made a video regarding sopa and pipa, saying basically to not go to e3 this year until the esa backs down for supporting sopa, please, it would help a bunch. go watch the newest Hard News to see what I mean

  • duhmez

    January 19, 2012 at 5:24 am

Do not go to E3 or cover it unless the ESA drops support for sopa.

you know what’s funny? over at screw attack some ppl in the comment thought the voice might’ve been james but not quite sure. I already saw it and the choreography is mediocre but the special effects are top notch

  • NightPhoenix

    January 19, 2012 at 3:39 pm

Why does this guy waste his time making crappy fan films? He should go out and do something original…

    • Elyjaah

      January 19, 2012 at 4:50 pm

@NightPhoenix Seriously? This is rather well done. The costumes are nice, the editing and effects are cool, and some attacks, not all, look pretty authentic.

Fan art/film/fiction etc does NOT necessarily have to be crap. And even if it was crap, why shouldn’t he be allowed to do it, if that’s what he enjoys?

      • NightPhoenix

        January 19, 2012 at 5:55 pm

@Elyjaah @NightPhoenix Oh he can certainly do it if it is his passion, more power to him there. Looking at his site I see that he has done several including Mega Man, Sonic, and Ghostbusters. Not trying to be too critical, just saying that original stuff is better than rehashing franchises on no budget. That being said we all watched his video so it is probably just a way for him to get his name out there. I was just surprised that he has made so many and think his efforts should be directed towards creating and not copying. Then again, Hollywood does love remakes lol.

  • BenjaminOstermeier

    January 27, 2012 at 12:41 am

What in the blue blazes is this? The audio sync was off. Chun-li’s costume looked ridiculous and the scenery change, while a cool effect, had no bearing on the actual battle. This Eddie Lebron does seem to have some potential, though.

I liked your computer voice, James. I didn’t even realize it was you!

  • BenjaminOstermeier

    January 27, 2012 at 12:51 am

It looks like you can’t edit the comments with this system. But yeah, I had to mention one of the saving graces of that video was, of course, Cammy’s ass. Hahaha.

I wonder if those were really Chun-li’s boobs, or part of the “special effects”. Like part of the costume. I know it’s crude of me to wonder and ask, but let’s face it, most Asian girls aren’t that stacked in that regard.
