    Nothing could top the last Monster Madness, first thing every morning I’d watch a brand new Monster Madness video while having breakfast, every day for a solid month. By the time it was finished, my Halloween spirit was completely off the charts.

      @Kurvos Maybe another year. It was a lot of work sorting through hundreds of voices. We enjoyed receiving those very much, but this year there wasn’t enough time.

    I totally LOVE These! You should do one on the best “Jump Out of your Seat” movies! One good one I would suggest is Drag me to Hell. Generally not a great movie, but the scare factor is totally there.

    LOL! I’ve noticed James loves the halloween theme. As every year he seems to put a lot of hard work, into the Pre-october/October videos. Not that he doesn’t put hard work in any of his videos :) it just seems he likes the halloween theme more. If you all get what I mean.

    I really love these Monster Madness reviews you do, they’ve really gotten me into horror movies, seeing as before I heard your opinion I kinda stayed away from the genre, thinking it was all the same story bout dumb people getting murdered. But after seeing your MM reviews every year, I’ve gotten more and more interested and seen that there’s way more to this genre then just the slasher subgenre (+ the fact that my girlfriend likes horror very much, so she kinda dragged me into it as well, luckily she always holds my hand when we watch a horror movie…yes, I am a big scardy cat:P)Anyways, I’ve seen you reviewing a great many movies, from the big names in history to the more campy movies last year, but there is one movie I keep missing every year, mostly cause of yourself. In several reviews you mentioned that ‘The Thing’ from John Carpenter is one of your favourite horror movies and even though it’s probably been reviewed to death by other people on the internet, I would really love for you to review it and give your opinion on why you love it. Mean, with the new prequel coming out, maybe you can give it a look and give your expectations for the new movie. From the promo it’s most likely you won’t be dealing with the movie this Monster Madness marathon, going more into the characters/franchises of the horror genre, but still I would really love for you to review John Carpenter’s ‘The Thing’.

    I’m not a huge fan of horror films that had graphic violence and gore. Many of the films are totally grossed and disgusting. “The Exorcist” was an example of gross and disgusting. I had this film since my brother gave me last year, but I smashed it with a hammer to destroy the DVD, just like he did with the “Nintendo World Championships” episode from the AVGN. I made a video of that from last year. I’ll have to check and see what happens.

    Yeah James! The only thing that bothered me about MM was the fact that it was just TOO SHORT! I personally wanted to know more about all those horror movies but you barely scratched the surface unfortunatelly. Good to hear you’ll be getting into more detail and hopefully it’ll be more like a 15 or 20 minute review… maybe longer :D Be it as it may, looking forward to it ;)

    Frankenstein (7 sequels in the 30′s and 40′s)
    Friday the 13th (7 sequels in the 80′s)

    I bet you money. Unfortunately, I can’t really see what the other two are gonna be.

    It can’t be Nightmare on Elm Street or Halloween because those movies don’t have enough sequels in the 80′s; can’t be Leprechaun because that was in the 90′s; and can’t be Gamera because he hasn’t reviewed the first one. Alien has only one sequel in the time-slot; and the Toho Monster Movie Spin-Offs aren’t sequels and barely spin-offs.

    P.S. Since your JamesNintendoNerd channel is partnered, could you post Monster Madness 2010 on YouTube?

    Good thing i saw the first three series, but now I have to find a way to watch all the Friday the 13th movies since I only saw the remake. Good thing the first 8 are coming out in a cool new gift set while the last two are available to watch instantly on Netflix!
