I know you make this for fun, but you don’t have to be so repetitive on your laughs about Mexico, where I live, you may say it’s a joke, but when you incist so much on the same thing, clearly you hate it or being intolerant.

@CarlosRojas Lamesauce. Don’t let your tears drop into the fajita I’m eating. Your sensitivity is pathetic. Don’t let the door hit you in your gigantic, tear glands on your way back to Guadalajara. Remember, no one is special, and everyone is vulnerable to insult. Get thicker skin, and dry your tears. The internet doesn’t care from where you hail.

@EatenSoler I actually just researched it. We were both wrong about the denotative usage of the term. I am glad you corrected me, though.

Carlos, I don’t think they were laughing at Mexico as a country because they hate it or are intolerant, I think they were just laughing at the idea of Lon Chaney getting drunk and ending up making a movie in Mexico.

  • crushilista

    September 16, 2011 at 6:43 am

It’s not hatred of Mexico Carlos, it’s just it doesn’t belong in Mexico. It isn’t meant to. The Dracula reference was because it belongs in Transylvania. They got him “drunk” in Mexico because it would be the only way he would do the horrible movie.

  • CarlosRojas

    September 16, 2011 at 7:23 am

I agree about the movie, just misplaced ideas lol, I’m talking about the commentary, what would you say if this were backwards, even if we say gringos as a funny comment northamericans get angry, I like all this videos, I think is just not so funny when someone keeps laughing at your country.

  • pirate-ninja coalition

    September 16, 2011 at 7:43 am

Gimme a break. Why are you defending james and mike? Its not like they are doing anything offensive or racist. If carlos is so insecure about his country that he thinks every joke is offensive he should stay of the net.

  • pirate-ninja coalition

    September 16, 2011 at 7:46 am

What misplaced ideas? they are just having some fun, joking around like they always do. If you dont think its funny u can just skip this vid, but you can hardly complain it has ”misplaced ideas”.

  • pirate-ninja coalition

    September 16, 2011 at 7:50 am

They are just joking around, having a little fun. Its called a sence of humor, try and grow one or just skip this vid. Maybe the next one wont contain anything remotly mexican and you can enjoy it again.

  • Dorkledoot

    September 16, 2011 at 7:50 am

I think that’s because Gringo is an ethnic slur, James and Mike didn’t actually say anything racist against Mexicans or Mexico as a country, just laughed at the film and referred to the cliche in American culture of people getting drunk and waking up in Mexico. I honestly don’t see what the problem is, they didn’t laugh at your country. :) @CarlosRojas

  • pirate-ninja coalition

    September 16, 2011 at 7:55 am

James and Mike (as far as i can remember) have never ever sad anything remotly racist or offensive to anyone, so i dont get how this guy thinks they have it in for mexico al of a sudden…

  • sockmonkey

    September 16, 2011 at 8:41 am

There is nothing in the video about hatred or intolerance. You are merely projecting your own insecurities on the internet

  • September 16, 2011 at 8:50 am

Not once were they “laughing at Mexico”. They were laughing at a down-on-his-alcoholic-actor trying to make a living by making Z-grade movies in other countries.

Mexico is a part of North America by the way. Just in case you didn’t know or perhaps forgot.@CarlosRojas

  • September 16, 2011 at 8:58 am

oops. That was meant to be “down-on-his-LUCK-alcoholic actor” @CarlosRojas

  • CarlosRojas

    September 16, 2011 at 12:26 pm

Its not insecurity, México has been a respectful country, dont know why is always attacked…, remember Top Gear, that even made a diplomatic problem between England and México, and just undestand its 15-16 of september day of Mexico independence, and i love my country, i guess you would comment the same in the 4 of july if you just listen AAAhhh. in USA hahaha, well anyway, i dont want to bore this video, they are good comedians and lets keep that good energy.

James or Mike please respond to this comment. my email inbox is being flooded with these comments from people who make comments about the video. So every time someone here posts a comment it shows up in my email. How to i stop this? I need you guys to really answer this for me or from somebody else reading this who knows what I’m talking. • gamez

Thanks I appreciate the help I think that will stop it. @CarlosRojas

  • mike_guillen

    September 16, 2011 at 1:09 pm

After the success of the universal pictures horror films Mexico start producing a lot of “horror” movies based on universal character, the funny thing here is that this type of movies made in Mexico had everything but horror. The main characters happen to be famous comedian actors or wrestlers. In this particularly movie I can see Tin Tan, (the guy with the torch who beats the ware wolf)

The most famous hero of the time was El Santo (an actual wrestler) who practically beats any monster you can imagine: witches, ware wolves, she-wolves, zombies, vampires, mummies, Frankenstein, and big big etc.

If Mike or James read my comment, they should make a litte research of “Mexican horror films” of the 50s, 60s and 70s, I can give you guys some clues.

  • mike_guillen

    September 16, 2011 at 1:13 pm

About the discussion with CarlosRojas, there is nothing to ashamed about these movies, everyone in Mexico makes fun of these too. You can’t avoid lough after watching Tin Tan beating Lon Chaney with a torch. There is nothing racist in the video, and it doesn’t mean that there is no good movies made in Mexico.

Wow, anyone saying this commentary is racist, is a complete IDIOT.

I’m as sensitive as they come, and there’s nothing racist or bigoted here.

  • September 16, 2011 at 8:09 pm

This is hilarious. I can’t believe people are still talking about racism. What the hell? How can you possibly read that into what they were talking about in the video.

Actually, it’s true. Mike and James are leaders of the Pennsylvania KKK branch. They just lynched a Mexican and a Japanese man then went for coffee and a bagel at Dunkin’ Donuts. Seriously!

Man, I love the internet! Haha!

  • gamez

    September 16, 2011 at 8:15 pm

We’ll wait and see what James and Mike say about this when they read the comments.

  • September 16, 2011 at 8:23 pm

Before I get tons of hate mail. let me clarify. This is sarcasm. people take things too seriously and hear things that aren’t there. Of course it’s not true. It’s ridiculous, and so are these childish comments about them being racially insensitive.

Just watch the damn video and laugh you ass off.

  • Basement Steve

    September 16, 2011 at 9:25 pm

Ok, ok… I’m going to go ahead and apologize for certain comments I made. I deleted them so hopefully not too many people read them. Just reading these silly “racial” comments got my creative-writing juices flowing.

Anyway, just enjoy the videos, people!

I Love Lon Chaney Jr.! He’s one of the most lovably dopey actors of all time. The fact that he mostly played monsters just makes him that more sadly funny. He’s especially good in “Son of Dracula” as Dracula’s son. Worst. Casting. Ever. :)

  • BrockLobster

    September 17, 2011 at 1:45 pm

Wow, everyone is so sensitive. I don’t care where you are or what race to which you belong. Your tears over comments are as pathetic as my tears over toilet paper stuck to my shoe after I leave a public toilet. Newsflash: You aren’t special; now stop bawling like a baby.

Wow, 20 years passed by and still acting the werewolf. That’s dedication.

This movie is, apparently, very similar with House of Dracula, wich is the only monster movie i have. The end of that movie is just like this one: fast and weird. Actually, it kinda match with the weirdness of the rest of the film. Just because there is a bunch of monsters, everybody is important in his own way, and all kind of things are inserted at random; but, it has a save boat on the doctor, who unifies the movie (… i think? i still don’t know if it is the doctor or his castle).

But I really like that movie; i chuckle everytime i see it. It has 3 monsters, a doctor who remind me of Dr Jerkill & Mr Hide, a kid who has a deformed face, angry townspeople with torches, and it has an “Igor” too! Also, the werewolf transformations are awesome, i think they did it 3 times!

Hmmm but you already knew that, eh? ha ha!

    Great commentary!
