This first comic here was from about age 15. I was obsessed with reading Michael Crichton novels. In “Eaters of the Dead” there was a passage about mead that caught my attention. It was the first time I ever heard of such a thing, a drink that makes the world spin. So I had to illustrate it.
This next one, I can’t explain. (Age 8-9)
Nor this one, but it clearly seems to be a bug with a beard. (Age unknown)

The “Green Hogs”… reminds me of our “Green Pigs” team that took on the “Big Guys” back in school!
And if that mooing creature on the roof doesn’t cause instant insomnia for that person, perhaps the back-and-forth bickering between the “Dookie Gremlins” and the “Red Hogs” might!

Maybe you heard the term “bugbear” but you somehow imagined it as “bugbeard” and drew a bug with a beard. And maybe you heard the term “wirry-cow” and drew that as an actual cow.

The second one looks like a wolf mooing…but it says “Green Hogs” right at the bottom. So is it a cow, a wolf or a hog? If it was a hog, why would it be green? hahahah. I typed in “Green Hogs” on Google. The first result was a pork processing plant. These are really great James!
