On April 26, 2011, I posted a video called Chronologically Confused About TMNT DVD’s. My main gripe was that the episodes on the DVD’s are out of order, but most important, season 9 and 10 have not yet been released on DVD. Well, now that has changed!
Today (May 23, 2011), it’s been officially announced that Season 9 will be coming to DVD! This is great news. The release date is set for August 16. This means that the only thing left to go is Season 10, and the missing episodes from Season 5 “Once Upon a Time Machine” and “Planet of the Turteloids”. There are a few episodes from Season 10 that were released on the Season 1 set. Since Season 10 is very short, that means there aren’t that many episodes left. We’re ALMOST THERE!
So when Season 9 comes out August 16, GO BUY IT! Show them that TMNT is still a hot commodity! Buy it, and then hopefully they’ll release the rest.

That’s awesome. The only thing left for them to do is make a box set of the complete series. Have it be like the Turtle Van (Party Wagon) as the container that holds all of the DVD’s. They did similar things with the Transformer and G.I. Joe cartoons. That would be epic if they did that, Then all that would be left would be a box set for the 2003 series.

is iti me, or has the avgn stuff this year really gone down hill, i have followed avgn since 2006. Fucking love his stuff apart from this year. WTF over 1 mth and no new video, have i missed something? or are we just gonna get bullshit videos (not meaning YKWB) and no avgn stuff? tis a real shame man. I used to look forward to new videos every month. But they seem to be getting worse. i know ill probli get shot down for saying this, but hey its only my cents, so who cares huh!

Man, I haven’t seen the TMNT cartoons since I was a kid, I’d love to own the whole series and watch them all again. With the franchise making a comeback now, they’ll definitely be releasing season 10.

That’s awesome when gaps are filled and tapes are kept circulated. Lionsgate seems like they don’t want to care about the rest of the Red Sky episodes with Lord Dregg as the villain, new member Carter, and advanced mutations.
