April 15, 2011 at 1:22 am

April 15, 2011 at 1:28 am
I love these glitch videos!
April 15, 2011 at 1:31 am
yeah! try to prevent me from looking around will ya?
April 15, 2011 at 1:48 am
Letsa’ fuckin’ hype the damn game! That was the mantra right before the 64 came out. What was it? Like $300? Shit, that’s $800 these days…
Either way, loved the game, good times! Thanks MFM!
April 15, 2011 at 2:00 am
Keep making these vids Mike! Good stuff! Definitely worth making into a full time series
April 15, 2011 at 2:05 am
This needs a link to Tool Assisted Speedrun of the game.
Some nice things at least. Keep ’em coming.
You went balls out on this one. Multiple glitches and cheats, illustrative footage, lots of editing together… Top notch. Keep fucking mothers Mofo Mike!
April 15, 2011 at 2:52 am
these vids are awesome Mikey. keep ’em comin
April 15, 2011 at 2:55 am
I love how you started your own seris of glitch videos Mike, great videos! please make more of em!
April 15, 2011 at 4:11 am
What about the glitch atop of the castle? You fall down into the castle, when the engine runs the outside map of the castle. If you open the door to exit the castle, you go to the inside map of the castle, but then you’re outside.
Check “Super Mario 64 Castle Glitch” on YouTube, to see what I mean. This glitch was used to fool gamers that they could find or select Luigi if they enter the castle this way.
April 15, 2011 at 4:49 am
what a great video. so entertaining even if its a few minutes its so fun to see you just tear games apart from all the hours you poured into them as a kid finding out all these crazy glitches. cant wait to see more
April 15, 2011 at 5:17 am
excellent , mike !
April 15, 2011 at 5:27 am
Great video Mike. I always enjoy watching these videos from you.
Thanks asshole! 😉
April 15, 2011 at 5:38 am
That mike, what a motherglitcher
April 15, 2011 at 6:24 am
These Glitch-videos are great.
Any plans of doing a crossover between Angry Video Game Nerd and Motherfucker Mike?
They play a videogame and the one who beats it first wins. So The Nerd will be so angry on Motherfucker Mike because he will cheat ^^
Looking forward for more glitches
April 15, 2011 at 6:30 am
Awesome. I only knew about one or two of these. Time to break out the N64! Thanks Mike!
April 15, 2011 at 7:08 am
Here’s another glitch: when you got all 120 stars you can unlock the cannon outside the castle, then go talk to yoshi on the roof of the castle, get the flying cap and then go back to the cannon, get inside once again, and then aim to the tower of the castle, if you do it right mario will get inside and fall to a weird area of the castle with two doors but you won’t be able to get away
April 15, 2011 at 7:28 am
This reminds me of Super Noah’s Ark 3D/Super 3D Noah’s Ark….look at the cartridge! It’s Super 64 Mario!
April 15, 2011 at 9:11 am
Sweet, more mother fucker mike!
April 15, 2011 at 9:19 am
The stair one was good
The rest was just common 3d graphics glitches which were pretty common and you still run into them occasionally in newer games.
April 15, 2011 at 10:02 am
That is sweet, gonna try some if those.
April 15, 2011 at 10:40 am
That stair trick is genius! I want to try this 🙂
April 15, 2011 at 11:16 am
That glitch for the endless stairs really wouldve helped before if got all 70 stars. That shit took me years. (i was young)
Great video, but what about the yoshi glitch on the top of the castle? Ive heard you can go throught the wall on top of the castle when you get to yoshi.
April 15, 2011 at 11:25 am
haha great glitches! this makes me want an N64!
April 15, 2011 at 11:26 am
April 15, 2011 at 12:05 pm
These videos just keep getting better Motherfucker Mike. Do you know anything about the ghost town glitch in GTA3 on the PS2? That’s one of my all time faves.
April 15, 2011 at 12:46 pm
Mike do those Glitches work on the DS version because i want to know. [Even though i have all 150 stars.]
April 15, 2011 at 1:14 pm
It’s a-me, I’m a little cheater! hahahha
April 15, 2011 at 1:19 pm
Dude Mike! You are a God at finding these glitches! Keep it up man!
April 15, 2011 at 1:29 pm
“Itsa me, I’m a mother fucking cheater!” LMAO
April 15, 2011 at 1:44 pm
Shit.. I didn’t think the jumping backwards up the stairs would work in real time.. great find mike!!
April 15, 2011 at 1:49 pm
This should be a series, Motherfucker Mike. Call Kyle Justin and have him make a theme song.
April 15, 2011 at 1:55 pm
Please turn this into a show just Like AVGN and the name of the show is MFMG(MOTHER FUCKING MIKE GLITCHES)
April 15, 2011 at 2:03 pm
Spot on Mario impersonation
April 15, 2011 at 2:17 pm
theres a glit were when you get 120 stars go on the roof and fly to the secong highest place on the tower and jump at the wall and you can fall through and go behind the castle door
April 15, 2011 at 2:56 pm
you dint even talk about the flying hat glitch where you hold your hat while flying
April 15, 2011 at 3:03 pm
Yeah! MOAR GLITCHES !!! MOAR MIKE !!!
MOAAAARRR !!! ^^
April 15, 2011 at 3:13 pm
I love Motherfucker Mike — always gets me laughing hard!
This shit is hilarious!
April 15, 2011 at 3:27 pm
Another cool vid. I’ve never seen any of ’em except the staircase.
April 15, 2011 at 3:42 pm
Mike is funnier on his own. When he appears with James he’s usually annoying but these videos are cool
April 15, 2011 at 3:46 pm
I already knew about two of the glitches (the stairs and the slide), but it’s nice to know more. Thanks man.
April 15, 2011 at 4:04 pm
so the power of the stars can be matched by butt-walking up a flight of stairs?
April 15, 2011 at 4:16 pm
Wow, I’d heard about one or two of these, but that last one to get you past the endless stairs is one major oversight!
April 15, 2011 at 4:31 pm
Really diggin’ the gaming glitch series Mike! The best part about your videos is that it makes me want to play the game and try the glitch for myself. Always fun and interesting!
April 15, 2011 at 4:55 pm
Those early 3d graphics were all faulty.
Fun video, the ending cracked me up.
April 15, 2011 at 4:58 pm
I really love seeing all of these neat tricks and cheats…and again, the wardrobe choice is bangin’. *leather jacket lust*
Can’t wait for more!
April 15, 2011 at 5:38 pm
you should show the glitches n things that occur when you have the game in normally but slowly tilt the cartridge to the left or right.
April 15, 2011 at 6:04 pm
Nice vid there Mike…you probably know this one but the boss on that same level w/ the tower…you know the level “Chip Off Whomp’s Block”…as he is coming down to slam you if you jump in the air and perform the butt drop right at the same time he is crushing you, mario actually goes through Whomp without taking damage, but still inflicts damage to whomp…you can beat the level extremely easily by doing it, but it doesn’t work in Super Mario 64 DS.
April 15, 2011 at 6:05 pm
You forgot the one where you can jump into the ceiling, one of the easiest to pull off, also the ill-famed black room of doom.
April 15, 2011 at 6:10 pm
“BOOM!” Love you, Mike! 😀
April 15, 2011 at 6:29 pm
I actually made work the first glitch in this that the video shows years ago. How I mis Mario 64, it was my favorite n64 video game
April 15, 2011 at 6:30 pm
The vid is absolutely hysterical, LOL
April 15, 2011 at 6:37 pm
Man, I can’t stop fucking laughing! Man, you’re awesome Mike.
April 15, 2011 at 6:51 pm
I love this series man :B
April 15, 2011 at 7:15 pm
I am totally familiar with the infinite staircase glitch.
There’s a ton more glitches in this game that I can recall.
-On the wrong side of the castle entrance.
-Take the rabbit anywhere (get it through doors).
-Others I can’t name!
April 15, 2011 at 9:23 pm
This game is LOADED with glitches. All that wonky camera shit was easy to pull off without even trying. It’s insane. I’m surprised you didn’t mention the supposed glitch where you can reach the top of the castle and meet Yoshi way before you have the 120 stars.
April 15, 2011 at 9:52 pm
1st movie your not an asshole and i could bare watching you.keep it up
April 15, 2011 at 10:40 pm
glitches happen all thetime in that game, but these ones are awesome
April 15, 2011 at 10:43 pm
dude the time trial is so fucking easy. no need for the trick.
April 15, 2011 at 10:50 pm
I love this series of videos! Excellent work again, Mike! But one of my pet peeves is when the little bomb guys names are pronounced Buh-bombs instead of their actual name Bob-ombs. There is a subtle difference between the two.
April 16, 2011 at 1:17 am
I can recall one seriously fucked up glitch. Get 120 stars, go to the roof of the castle and get the wing cap. Start flying around and then crash into the tower (at about the same height as the window, left side of the tower in the corner-like part). If done right, you’ll lose the cap, fall through the roof and end up stuck between the outside of the castle and the inside and you’ll be able to se the both sides but you can’t get out. Remember toad saying they were trapped in the castle walls? He wasn’t lying.
April 16, 2011 at 1:37 am
Motherfucker mike, you’re such a motherfucker.
MOAR GLITCH VIDS
April 16, 2011 at 2:22 am
Haha, this game had so many glitches. I remember doing jumps off the top of the castle with 120 stars and sometimes ground pounding through the world.
Also, if you go to the courtyard where you find all the Boo’s you can jump on a tree, shimmy up and do a handstand, then try to jump outside of the level. If you do it right you get stuck between two invisible barriers and mario goes apeshit.
The last one I remember is you can wall jump up the castle and wander around well before getting the 120 stars needed to do so normally.
April 16, 2011 at 4:22 am
I remember one where I jumped through a staircase once… I think maybe it was the same one where you were jumping through the wall. I rolled right through the stairs and out the other side, which I think was in the basement area. I tried to get it to happen again, but couldn’t seem to manage it.
April 16, 2011 at 8:50 am
Theres also a very infamous trick on the on of the later snow levels I think its snowy snowy peaks or something , its the one with the snowman that blows you off the ledge anyway.
On that level climb up to where the snowman is get blown off so mario loses his hat, then go to the trees near where the ice lake bit is where you start to climb up to the giant snowman, once there climb the trees doing a handstand thing on the top until you find one that warps you to another tree, when you do warp there and back 3 times then climb off the tree and go looking for mario’s hat, when you find it there will be up to 5 hats keep picking them up and Mario witll seem to glitch out and end up holding his hat instead of wearing it.
April 16, 2011 at 11:02 am
Aw man, you made me want to play this game again. But I don’t have a Nintendo 64. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
April 16, 2011 at 12:27 pm
Awesome video. Love Super Mario 64 and really fun to see this 🙂
April 16, 2011 at 1:27 pm
I know a TON of glitches and the game yet you still manage to find some I don’t know about. Well done Mike.
April 16, 2011 at 1:36 pm
Holy fucking shit… this was awsome!!! I think ill say the same damn think when i perform that last glitch next time.
Me:I need 70 stars? You know what? FUCK YOU BOWSER LETS DO THIS MARIO!
Mario: Yeah lets’a go! *performs moonwalk? while jumping*
Both:YEAH! ITS’A ME, IMMAH FUCKIN CHEATER!!!!!!!! WA-OO-O-OO-OH!!! 🙂 XD
April 16, 2011 at 1:41 pm
What a good game.
April 16, 2011 at 1:43 pm
Great episode, Mike.
April 16, 2011 at 1:59 pm
“Thanks asshole” lol
Nice one Mike !
April 16, 2011 at 3:09 pm
that last glitch is what we speedrunners call a “BLJ” (backwards long jump), you can actually use them in other spots of the game as well to beat it with 0 stars 😀
April 16, 2011 at 4:55 pm
I’ve done a few of those on accident! Nice video I’ll have to try some of those out.
April 16, 2011 at 5:04 pm
Did you found those tricks yourself ? How can anyone find those anyway !
April 16, 2011 at 6:03 pm
April 16, 2011 at 7:55 pm
Sick glitches Mike, just sick!
April 16, 2011 at 8:03 pm
Love these videos, Mike! One suggestion, though: You should think up a name for this show, like James did with Board James and his other shows.
April 16, 2011 at 8:26 pm
LOVE YOUR SEGMENTS MOTHERFUCKER MIKE!!!
April 16, 2011 at 8:27 pm
April 16, 2011 at 10:53 pm

April 17, 2011 at 6:51 am
I knew the last one, its pretty ordentlich
April 17, 2011 at 9:24 am
Awesome stuff!! Lots of glitches in then N64 games haha. But you did forget the infamous one where you get 120 stars then grab the wing cap on top of the castle, get back in the cannon, and shoot yourself up to the highest point on the castle’s tower possible. Once you land, try running up the side of the tower, and you’ll fall through all the way into the main lobby area, only it will be all glitched and fucked up. I used to show that one off to everyone all the time haha.
April 17, 2011 at 10:25 am
^this. One of my favorite glitches too. I usually aim for the picture of Peach.
Also, @heusks What about the 1 star in Dire Dire Docks to reveal the bowser level? I’ve never seen a speedrun avoid that one.
April 17, 2011 at 10:41 am
“thanks asshole!” LOLOL!!
April 18, 2011 at 2:39 am
@heusks Yeah one of my all time favorite glitches too haha. Also, I think it is possible to avoid getting that star–I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it done before it has something to do with using MIPS the rabbit but I forget how. Guarentee if you YouTube it you’ll come up with it.
April 18, 2011 at 2:41 am
Haha I mean that last post to say @kholdstare haha whoops that’s what you get for posting at 4 in the morning.
And anyway that glitch is apparently done by doing yet another backwards long jump.
April 18, 2011 at 5:14 am
April 18, 2011 at 2:14 pm
I knew about some of these but not others. Thanks for the info.
April 18, 2011 at 2:55 pm

April 21, 2011 at 9:49 pm
Thanks Mike! I saw the last one used on the 5 min. speed run… I didn’t know how to do it until now!!!
April 23, 2011 at 4:20 pm
Nice. I found all of those out for myself except for the bobomb exploding in the air one. Here are a few more glitches that I found. In the desert, get in the cannon guarded by the rotating whomps that try to crush you and aim all the way up and to the left. Then launch yourself and if you have low enough health, you will hit the ground and die, then fall back into the cannon. Then you can fly around with zero health until you touch the ground. Another glitch is n bobomb battlefield. Throw a bobomb at chain chomp to make him look up in the air. Then stomp on his stump for the 3rd time and he will remain looking up when he breaks free. Another one in bobomb battlefield is the craziest one. Pick up a bobomb and throw it. If you catch it at the exact right moment before it hits the ground, it won’t explode and will expand in size. Then you can do some real crazy shit. It seems like something different happens every time. Last one- outside the castle, get the wingcap and fly into the highest tower of the castle. If done properly, Mario will fall through the castle and get stuck inside. You can then exit the front door of the castle from inside to leave.
April 25, 2011 at 6:18 pm

April 30, 2011 at 3:00 am
Hey Mike and or James. I recently bought a nintendo 64 and I was wondering if you guys had any extra n64 games lying around that u guys can possibly give to me because my parents refuse to buy them from amazon or eebay or any online crap. I know this is a stupid question the n64 came with Pokemon Stadium Super Smash Bros Melee and thats about it. I am a really big fan of Legend of zelda games and star fox. And i have one request for the nerd to do. A episode about the Super Smash Bros Trilogy Super Smash Bros 64, Super Smash Bros Melee, and last but not least Super Smash Bros Brawl. I think im speaking for lots of fans by saying your opinion on the series about how its progressed and its flaws and improvements. And maybe do like once a week segments on reading tweets and emails nothing big just reading stuff that people wanna say to you advice or just request. Thanks for reading this if you guys did.
April 30, 2011 at 3:04 am
Oh srry wen i was listing the games that came with my n64 i put melee i meant Super Smash bros 64 😀
May 1, 2011 at 10:21 pm
One of my all time favorite mario games!
Thanks for the tips, Mike!
P.S. Make for fucking videos!!!!! 🙂
May 1, 2011 at 10:22 pm
I meant MORE! XD
May 7, 2011 at 5:08 pm
Great Video. It gave me such nostalgia. Neat glitches! I wonder behind the source to these glitches. what is a glitch in the code? can that be it’s own game or presentation? MissingNO?? Next time, SM64;p Include the glitch chasing the rabbit!
Good video and keep up the work
May 12, 2011 at 4:45 pm
These glitches are waaaaaaay old, he didn’t find any of them. Check youtube instead 🙂
May 12, 2011 at 8:08 pm
There are a ton of glitches in Mario 64, most likely because of the jump in hardware. Anyway, this was awesome. Glitches are some of the best secrets in video games, so I really love these video’s you’ve been doing with them. Would be cool to see a sequel to this particular one with more, and maybe even a part three considering how many glitches have been documented in this game. Whatever does come next, I’m sure it’ll be awesome like the rest.
May 14, 2011 at 4:49 pm
so I guess these dont work on the DS version? :/
May 23, 2011 at 1:59 pm
In Wet-Dry World, go to the cannon and look to the left until you see a picture of the sun. Aim all the way up and line the up and down arrows with the sun ray going straight up. Fire. Keep doing this, eventually your health bar will be at zero, but you’ll just keep going and going until you shoot somewhere else.
June 12, 2011 at 8:44 pm
Best line — “It’s-ah me! I’m a fuckin’ cheater!” Closely followed by, “Thanks, asshole!” Mike cracks me up.
