OverAnalyzers #1: Batman & Robin

James / March 30th, 2011

Watch at Cinevore.com

First in a series of improv productions with Cinevore. We discuss different pop culture questions. The first topic: Batman! (In the 1966 TV series, how do Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson turn into Batman and Robin by sliding down poles?) Feel free to discuss.

Good job, but would be just as good if not better if it was just James and Mike.

Why is that fat chick doing a Natasha voice from Rocky and Bullwinkle? Huh?

well i dont dislike her because she is fat its just that she is boring as shit

  • March 30, 2011 at 3:47 am

I think that Robin and Batman enter the tubes and stop midway to the bottom to have hardcore gay sex, then re-enter the batcave with their fetish costumes still on. In order to run-off some post-coital energy (and the meth high) they take the batmobile out for a spin. Crimes that they encounter while out on these post-fuck excursions are co-incidental.

Nice first episode, I’ll keep an eye out for the future ones!

Awesome, this is a great new series where I like to see more in the future. The old 60’s Batman was just slap stick and unrealistic in comparison to Batman Begins and the Dark Knight which are more realistic.

The trickiest bit is this: How the hell do they put GLOVES on while holding onto the poles?? They can’t take their hands off the poles, but you can’t put gloves on without at least one free hand! I think the real question here is how many terrible injuries did Batman and Robin sustain working out the kinks in this system?

    My guess:

Bruce and Dick slide down the top of the poles. Midway down, there’s some kind of closet built onto the pole itself. They stop at this pole-closet, strip down, stuff their clothes into a bag that they leave in the closet, put on their costumes, and then open the closet floors and slide the rest of the way. Wah-lah! Batman and Robin. They just change really, REALLY fast.

    Sweeeeeet! this was awesome.

    March 30, 2011 at 5:31 am

I’m pretty sure that they use some phantom zone equip. they borrowed from Superman to zap off their old clothes and zap on their costumes.

  • March 30, 2011 at 5:38 am

What the hell just happen? Amazing first episode

  • March 30, 2011 at 5:42 am

I’m a big fan of almost everything cinemassacre does. But I am really not feeling, or buying the whole Russian accent that ‘stephanie’ does. It adds nothing to the skit, and if anything it makes it worse. She really does not have a quality and believable accent, and it should 100% be left out of the future episodes. Other then that, I enjoyed the show. Keep the good stuff coming!

    March 30, 2011 at 5:51 am

well I think I am getting to old for this, so no good comment!
I must stop watching this, I thought you had a bigger project in mind but I guess you are not ready yet!
leave this kind of stuff for younger less creative people like the G4 guys!

P.S, the rest of the crew sucks you and mike are enough for this kind of thing (probably I would like it just with the two of you)

I think the biggest twist is the optional Negate switch, which seems to be in plain site. Being that it is huge like that, it looks serious enough to power a high voltage device. Since Alfred hurried to change its state hints that there is some automation to the process.

Another thing not discussed is the length of the pole. Although it may look instintaneous, the pole may be very deep – they are falling from a mansion to a cave.

Interesting that the girl picked a russian accent for this video. I think I liked it.

  • March 30, 2011 at 6:09 am

There is a series of tumbles and ledges that they quickly jump on and off on the way down that have mechanical arms, that when done with an acrobats precision, take their clothes off and put them back on. The garments are then discarded through the Manor’s laundry shoot system, controlled by Alfred.

That was great! I’ve been looking forward to this for a bit. But, I find that in OverAnalyzers, I find myself drifting away from what they are talking about. (Of course, it is the first episode.) If i could fix 3 things in OverAnalyzers it would be, 1. Making the cast talk one after another? just bcuz it seems Jim, Mike and Susie talk the most of all 5 of you. I find Matt and Lee don’t talk much at all. As a matter of fact i find that it’s mainly Jim and Mike talking the most. What’s the point of having only 2 people of 5 that say more than 2 sentence per episode? 2. I think Jim, Mike and Susie is enough. Matt and Lee , sure they are okay, it’s only the first episode, i know. BUT, Jim, Mike and Susie. Enough said. 3. I’m not sure how to word this, but…. During the show you should have little cartoons or something that animate the current thing or situation that you are suggesting. For example, If you say “Maybe Batman and Robin enter a different dimension before they change from Bruce to Batman and Dick to Robin.” You should have it animated to keep the audience interested in the topic. (Kindof like Myth Busters). I hope this helps. Other than though’s few things, James, Mike…. This is A GREAT , 3.5/5 stars. Hopefully we fans can help you guys improve. – Quen

  • March 30, 2011 at 6:46 am

Anything that James touches is gold. He’s funny and imaginative; he’s in his element with this. Susie’s poor accent is distracting, annoying and unnecessary. Councillor Troi tried the same accent for an episode or two, and she dropped it, cuz it’s hard to relate to such an unnatural character, imo. Learn from others’ mistakes. Suzie’s character’s lame, cuz any comment or idea she has comes off forced and artificial. Her spontaneity will constantly be hampered by this goofy, unbelievable accent.

I think that the bat cave is further underground than any of us suspected. This provides ample time for robotic arms, in conjunction with powerful fans, to carefully disrobe and redress them.
They’re able to let go of the pole momentarily when changing their shirts due to their highly developed leg muscles, no doubt.

WTF is up with the shitty fake accent.

  • Einherjar

    March 30, 2011 at 6:50 am

Awesome concept πŸ˜‰ Very cool show !
But one question: Is it my PC or is the framerate pretty bad ?

  • xdeathknightx

    March 30, 2011 at 7:16 am

Have to agree with a few people here. The accent is pretty weird and just serves as a distraction instead of adding something. I wouldn’t mind if it was dropped in future episodes.

And it seems there is some sort of machine that zaps them into their batclothes. Seeing there is a negate batchange switch it must do something to the machine or stop it from working on that certain pole. And would explain why each had their distinctive own pole.

But a good first episode. I’d work on some things (the opening didn’t really convince me, I think susie would be better without the accent and a way to get everyone to chime in instead of a few people kind of “dominating” the conversation) and then it could be a great show.

  • FinallyGAF

    March 30, 2011 at 7:22 am

I remember a switch, Batman and Robin pulled during the slide, but I can’t remember what it was for. I also used some kind of dressing machine like in Wallace and Gromit, but I always thought of the way the “Filmation Ghostbusters” get dressed. Thinking about this important matter again, maybe all their clothes have some sort of hidden velcro which would allow a machine to rip apart and rebuild their clothings.
Sprays are known to be very sophisticated in that Batman Universe, so maybe they used some sort of Hide-Velcro-Spray.
    I could be wrong, though.
No crtitisism on the your new show here. I let you guys do your thing, eventhough some points raised may have been valid observations.

  • March 30, 2011 at 8:30 am

I really enjoyed this episode. I love it when Mike and James debate funny/ironic/crazy stuff like this. I look forward to seeing how this series evolves.
That being said, I really don’t dig the “accent” that Stephanie was doing. It seems forced, and out of place. It really just turned me off.

  • Volbla

    March 30, 2011 at 9:12 am

It would have been funnier if you’d taken everything completely serious, but maybe that would have been hard while improving.

It was still pretty fun. Will keep watching.

  • March 30, 2011 at 9:20 am

I don’t get why people complain about the accent… not really a problem.

Nice work, guys. I just wonder what kind of crazy\retro subjects you’re gonna discuss!!

  • fuzzielogic

    March 30, 2011 at 9:24 am

James, as a true fan who loves and looks forward to your AVGN updates with considerable nostalgia and enthusiasm, I feel the need to offer a little critique here. While the concept of the show is reasonably intriguing, this episode (and, i expect, those to come in this series) proves to be far less packed with witty observations when compared with your “Bullshit” or “AVGN” productions. Why? Because your ‘team’ subtracts much more than adds. You and Mike are clearly the sharpest duo in the analyser cave. The bearded guy comes off as completely inhibited, like he doesn’t know why is the camera is up in his face. The other guy’s constant grin is annoying–like a kid thats been fed too many nutella sandwiches. And as for Stephanie, the accent (and lip stick) come off as a very last ditch attempt to insert some sex appeal into the manly mix. But everybody in soviet russia and elsewhere knows that when you want sex appeal you hire a sexy people. If stephanie’s here for her brains, let her great insights stand or fall in plain english, without the pretentious accent. In this episode he seemed to be an unnecessary moderator in an already orderly and civil debate. James, your fans want you to get the recognition you deserve, not see you invest your energies in diluted projects. It must be nice to not have to pull all the weight with this one, but you haven’t combined forces with teammates of equal worth, man. Other than Mike, the rest of these people are just riding your coattails. Paracites on James Rolfe’s art and creative production. Keep bringing out that nerd rage and frustration within yourself, James. Point out the bullshit in the world that the rest of us are too inhibited to point out. Dont forget that you’re a hero of sorts to our generation. PS loved the reference to “American Movie.”

  • Vampire3s

    March 30, 2011 at 9:42 am

^^ I agreed with #1 in that I thought it might be a little more witty than this, and I thought the accent on the girl was confusing. Maybe it will be explained later why it’s important that she talks like that?

I dunno, I guess I expected you to be picking apart movies or tv in a little more depth (maybe like the Plinkett reviews from Red Letter Media), not such a trifle and over-the-top concept like this one.

Looking forward to liking later episodes of this series more.

PS I always thought it was like a Superman-type thing where they spin around real fast at a certain point on the pole and magically change.

  • Geo_Seven

    March 30, 2011 at 9:46 am

I always thought what happens is they go through a machine in an alternate dimension like the Ghostbusters in Filmation’s Ghostbusters do (and you can tell it’s an alternate dimension because just look at the background) but the reason they couldn’t show it is because it was the 60’s and you couldn’t show people in there underwear on TV, or at least a family show like Batman.

  • March 30, 2011 at 9:46 am

I’ve been excited about this project since it was announced, and I was not disappointed

I mean, an American Movie reference right off the bat? That’s fucking awesome!

Mike and Matt had me cracking up! As did James’ alternate dimension argument :p

Excellent debut, can’t wait for the rest of them!

  • March 30, 2011 at 9:58 am

Well, i usually like your work very much. This one, not. It was weak and unfunny as hell. There are to many useless people on the discussion board, specially the girl. I agree with much that fuzzielogic posted. I really think that you should take a rest and work on less projects cause you are doing to much and it shows, the quality is droping fast.
The last couple of AVGN were weak too.

  • March 30, 2011 at 10:02 am

    I see a mixed bag.

    Some very funny moments.
But, I see some long gaps where it becomes stagnant.

This is an excellent idea! However, a little more scripting may be necessary to keep some less than hilarious parts from becoming long and drawn out by more less then hilarious parts.

Are my expectations too high? May be they are, this is just my 2 cents.
Not trying to troll at all, it was a good first episode.

  • Arencey

    March 30, 2011 at 10:04 am

fuzzie is over-analyzing the overanalyzers, how ironic lol. I like it, I’m not gonna lie it’s no avgn but you know you don’t owe the critics anything, make what you want and if some angry fan insists that you stop then he can stop watching.

I think it dragged on a little too long, like the first half was pretty funny then it got kind of boring. That’s my 2 cents anyway but it’s still not bad.

  • Geo_Seven

    March 30, 2011 at 10:23 am

You know what’s been bothering me though. I watched Tremors II the other day and I haven’t seen it in forever and I noticed that Burt only has one bullet for the anti tank rifle. Now I know that most people would point out the ambush and say that is how he ran out of ammo but he said that he took them out with small arms and hand to hand tactics which would exclude the rifle… okay and they were using explosives to kill the graboids when they were in the worm state. So why the hell does he only have 1 bullet!!?? Was he just hoping not to use it at all and hang it on his wall when he got home? What’s the deal with that?

  • Bryal

    March 30, 2011 at 10:24 am

Couldn’t stop laughing. You kicked right into a basic idea of continuity and ran wild with it. Each person had at least one funny idea to add with another person’s reaction to it. Loved how mike was so obsessed with nudity. It was also bookended extremely well with the alternate dimension idea. Looking forward to more of these especially when the other three people get into their roles of the show. You’re going in the right direction loved every minute of this!

    March 30, 2011 at 10:32 am

    March 30, 2011 at 10:50 am

Why does that lady sound russian for? The ideas was coming James and Mike. Mike should do his own show!!!!! The other two guys didnt bring to much to the topic. I always though there was a spot on the pole where they stopped and change outfits and went back down. Mike really needs to do his own show he is funny!!!!!!!!!!!

  • worm

    March 30, 2011 at 10:58 am

The fake Russian accent is a little too much.

  • March 30, 2011 at 11:18 am

Hey James, I actually thought this was pretty good. The directing is definitely a step up from some of the other videos I’ve seen (not that they were bad… just that this one seems a little more… I dunno, something I’d see on TV as opposed to something on the web [if that makes sense]). Some commentary was great, some good, some not, but this is a pilot so that’s to be expected. I love the idea, so I’m looking forward to more episodes! Keep it up!

  • Geo_Seven

    March 30, 2011 at 11:34 am

Looking at all of this criticism reminds me of the wisdom of Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw when he said, “β€œFans are clingy, complaining dipshits who will never, ever be grateful for any concession you make. The moment you shut out their shrill, tremulous voices, the happier you’ll be for it.”

  • kingrat2314

    March 30, 2011 at 11:45 am

I really liked it. It’s very funny and out there, I can’t wait for future episodes. I especially loved the alternate dimension bit. I love Russian accents(no, not for the sex appeal. Russian accents are awesome), which made Stephanie all the more humorous. Her and Mike have great characters in the show.

  • Night_Hawk

    March 30, 2011 at 11:54 am

Always loved james’ voice, and always loved mikes laugh. This is a good addition to cinemassacre.

  • March 30, 2011 at 12:11 pm

I would guess that both wayne and dick have their suites under their normal clothes, and somehow the normal clothes is taken off during the slide down the poles πŸ™‚

  • tsburesh

    March 30, 2011 at 12:14 pm

Liked it. Good first episode shake down… Alot of potential when it comes to sci fi shows. Hope it evolves a little, get a little more from the others in the group.

  • shad

    March 30, 2011 at 12:28 pm

James’s work always impresses me, and this new series is not an exception. The potential on not only James’s projects, but on the overall future form of internet media continues to expand. And It’s interesting how such casual and simple sketch of James and Mike’s can prove so.

But I guess the internet is just not ready for it. Theses comments… are just hopeless. Do these people want to, what, tie James into a chair and have him produce AVGN episodes for eternity? I’d understand honest feedbacks with critiques on popular appeals, or expressing whether or not if his work meets personal entertainment values along with. Thats really one of the most help in form of communication we can provide. But what we’re saying… Seriously? “there is no need for this fat slut to be in this series of mediocre videos”? WTF

As for the episode it self, I sure got a laugh out of it, and I look forward to future episodes. Nevertheless I do agree with two common opinions: One, yes, James and Mike do stick out. Two, the Russian accent is too much for me as well. But this is only the first episode, after all.

…And I think I’ll go with James’s theory. I would like to think that Alfred regularly activates alternate dimension technology with a lever.

  • maikii

    March 30, 2011 at 12:30 pm

Definitely not my cup of tea. If you dropped everyone except for Mike and yourself, it would probably be much funnier.

  • Kiminara

    March 30, 2011 at 12:36 pm

James, this was great. different than your usual stuff but i feel like it’s a great direction to go towards. I’ve been a long-time fan and was prompted to make an account and comment on this after seeing so many negative-type comments. This show is called over analyzers for a reason! Loving it so far, waiting for more episodes πŸ™‚

  • EliteDeath

    March 30, 2011 at 12:40 pm

Not only is that review useless and pointless, its just down right uncalled for. If you actually think your entitled to AVGN you’re an idiot. James wants to do other things and he has that right, dont whine and say he’s only allowed to do AVGN, thats just childish.

  • maikii

    March 30, 2011 at 12:43 pm

It’s not that I’m against the show. It’s a great concept. James and Mike have a definite chemistry that you can see in a lot of the outtake videos. These other characters, aside from being uninteresting, seem to get in the way of the chemistry. Too many characters is my only complaint.

  • March 30, 2011 at 12:58 pm

Awesome first episode! While James and Mike seem to dominate the conversation a little, I have a feeling the group chemistry will get better after a few episodes.

Oh, and the alternate reality argument sounds totally reasonable to me. That shit is canon as far as I’m concerned.

  • fdanee

    March 30, 2011 at 1:03 pm

It was really enjoyable, even for me, who hasn’t seen one episode of the 1966 Batman show.

  • FlyingR

    March 30, 2011 at 1:06 pm

Well since everybody is putting their thoughts in the box, Guess I might as well. Just in case they actually go through these.

I agree with most of these comments, it has the potential and all that. It also has the problem that while James & Mike have a lot of harmony between themselves, all the others are having a hard time trying to keep up with them. So instead of just shooting them off a cannon, I would suggest giving them a little bit more of room. Mike simply expanded his presence like an ideal gas through the room, leaving very little room for the others. Which is understandable – They’d much rather have Mike say something at all than interrupt him and say something which isn’t as good.
I’d also suggest doing some real improv training by doing some exercises, even in front of public to put more pressure and make a person draw out all that he can. I suggest things like having a battle of questions-only arguments (no answers are allowed) or giving examples for strange things (Like 4 of them are on stage, quiet, and a 5th one draws from a box something like “Worst way to eat an icecream”, “Most awkward sentence one can say at a funeral” etc)… All of these should be done with a comedic feeling to it.
I have more ideas, but I am sure they all can find such exercises on the internet or in TV shows.

  • March 30, 2011 at 1:08 pm

The accent is not Russian. It’s Hungarian, and that’s her real family heritage. Just throwing that out there.

Anyway, I never thought of the length of the poles. Maybe the batcave is in the center of the Earth. In that case, they’d have plenty of time to change on their way down, but wait, that may be a little difficult while clutching the poles.

  • March 30, 2011 at 1:12 pm

For the guy that left the really long comment…Batman and Robin’s magical outfit change IS bullshit.
I loved this. While it’s not like AVGN, I didn’t care, because I wasn’t expecting AVGN. I know that James isn’t a one dimensional person. In fact, I know that he’s more of a movie person than he is a video game person. I enjoyed this because there are lots of weird things out there that people wonder about but sometimes never take the time to really think about it, but when they do it can be really entertaining. I’m sure this is going to be a great series.

  • March 30, 2011 at 1:14 pm

I’m inclined to agree with the majority of comments here. The concept is great, and there are some truly funny moments. But it really does seem like James, Mike, and the rest. That might be because we all know and love James & Mike, and we aren’t familiar with the others though. We need to see their character more. That said; I mean their REAL character. Their own humour. The Russian accent does seem like an attempt at giving an extra kick of character, but it’s far too forced, especially within a show that’s based somewhat in improv’. You can’t take it as off-the-bat-banter with a forced accent. Maybe re-think? Make a similar show with simply yourself and Mike?

  • March 30, 2011 at 1:15 pm

haha hey james what if batman and robin were wearing the outfits underneath there suits? and same thing with their outfits and the suits being underneath and they make sure that they always have a outfit underneath for the pole transformation?

  • March 30, 2011 at 1:16 pm

Oh Hungarian*. Just read that. My apologies.

  • March 30, 2011 at 1:19 pm

loved it, if mike and james are together comic gold. i think that miki and james should have a show together on this website. and loved this hope for more. but james and mike dominated. the others should add more to the convo πŸ˜€

also i know i say this alot. but the movie should have death chirst in it. just saying :3

  • roninjedi84

    March 30, 2011 at 1:20 pm

I like the concept very much. The video was great, but I kinda felt like it was a little forced. I’ve had covnersations like this with a few friends, and the discussion in the video didn’t quite flow like a “real” conversation. That being said, though, I enjoyed listening to the different points, and there were moments when my wife came in the room to tell me to shut up because I was laughing too loud.

All in all, I enjoyed the video and am looking forward to more. I’m sure as the group got into the swing of things (James said they filmed several episodes back-to-back) it became more easygoing and natural feeling.

Great job, everyone! Can’t wait to see what comes next!

  • Shinoda

    March 30, 2011 at 1:21 pm

The episode felt kinda short. It might just be me though. I’m sure it took a lot of time to plan this, film it and edit and all. It would be interesting to see an episode go a little longer. You guys would probably end up thinking waaaaaaaaayyyyyy too deep into the topic, but from what I understand, that’s kinda the point, right πŸ˜›

    March 30, 2011 at 1:30 pm

Is Susie not the same lady who interviewed James in the Overanalyzers preview video? I’m guessing not, because if it was the accent is a joke. lol

I thought this was entertaining. James and Matt do a great job as usual. The others agree were having a time keeping up with James and Matt but honestly I don’t know if it’s just me, but Susie really had nothing to add to the conversation other than making annoying comments or stupid jokes like “you want to see the batman naked?” Come on give me a break.

    March 30, 2011 at 1:35 pm

Mike would totally have been a great “youtube” celebrity if he got started on the NES glitches stuff 4-5 years ago. He’s got a perfect radio/podcast/discussion personality and it doesn’t feel scripted whatsoever.

The music and the introduction is classic, hope it doesn’t change. Heard James say a few “man” phrases a la Mark Borchardt… not sure if intentional or not.

The OverAnalyzers preview vid from a few days ago said this isn’t 100% improv, so hopefully all 5 characters get fleshed out more with their own personality. Good start so far though!

    March 30, 2011 at 1:36 pm

Sry but i don’t like that new show at all! Filmed discussion on geek’s subjects is not entertaining or interesting. I mean anyone can do this!
I really enjoy AVGN and all related stuff but when you start to fill the holes between the episodes with almost anything you get your hands on… I mean if you don’t have quality stuff, you don’t need to replace it by not-so good whaterever you get your hands on. WHAT DO YOU DO WITH AN ACCENT THAT DOESN’T FIT THE BILL?: Maybe for a gag you can pass the eastern euro accent around the table until it’s gone. Or in the next one, everyone has the accent, except for Stephanie.

At first, I thought OverAnalyzers was going to be about people in a bar with glow stick necklaces on. Is that some speed-dating in a bar type thing?

    Oh well,
Thanks for the video James and crew!
And F U to all the haters, This was enjoyable and creative.

Some pretty despicable comments wanting you to eliminate people from the show based on viewing one episode. Reminds me of the comic book guy from the Simpsons.

    March 30, 2011 at 2:16 pm

If their suits really are essentially 1 piece that they can just slide into midway down the poles then how do they go to the toilet in them? They seem to have their underpants on the outside as well (a la Superman) which can’t help. Either the suits have some very well hidden hatches for comfort breaks or they have some weird septic tanks built in (and also well hidden).

As to how they get dressed so quickly: the main characters in Final Fantasy X-2 can swap in and out of clothes almost instantaneously by using ‘dress-spheres.’ Maybe Bruce and Dick have that working for them like Yuna, Rikku and Paine do.

    Just some thoughts…

Great Idea but I have a few gripes.

    1. It was awkward, I’ll chalk this up to being the first episode.
    2. The woman’s accent was not enjoyable.
    3. Something was up with the audio for the fellow with the darker hair (he was wearing red)

Besides those few issues I think it has potential.

  • JohnCougarMellencamp

    March 30, 2011 at 3:02 pm

    Ok, Couple things:

1.) Where are the outtakes? Because I refuse to believe that these five people sat around and talked about the girth of Batman and Robin’s poles as well as their ability to slide up and down each others poles without so much as an f’n smirk?!

2.) In Soviet Russia, accent talks you………not so much.

3.) It seemed a little tense at times, but that I imagine will subside once the show really grows into whatever the hell it’s supposed to be.

On those notes, once everyone loosens up, it should be pretty cool.
    Looking forward to more.

    Hi James,

    nice idea, a few thoughs:

Susie is not so… well, dialect can be fun or ok to hear, in her case its the hole package thats kind of awkward πŸ˜‰ Although i liked the part where here head rests on her fist and she seems to sleep.

Would be very cool if the ideas you guys through out would be supported with some crazy pictures, like simple paintings you draw to the special idea and cut in while the people are talking about it.

Also theres some kind of speed missing.. hard to explain.

    Anyway its fun keep on!

    March 30, 2011 at 3:32 pm

this blows away all james’ side projects in everyway but the girls terrible accent is confusing and really annoying. I know its meant for contrast to have a serious person on the panel but she can be serious with her natural accent and still be effective.
And no one else contributed besides mike and jim and the two guys seemed really nervous and sort of awkward but I know its only the first episode and everything will get worked out if this series continues.
I was also really impressed with mike, he seemed to really enjoy this project and actually carried them whole episode and was pretty funny.

  • desolatorXT

    March 30, 2011 at 3:33 pm

Can’t say that i liked it… You were overanalysing an unimportant, pointless topic, that doesn’t need to be analysed. It’d be far more interesting if you were discussing and overanalysing a topic that matters, like a social habit or something….

Expecting this,i see that most of time, only mike and james were talking, and i really don’t like the pressence of that girl. Sorry for my bad english, i’d really like to see more work on the AVGN concept than this.

  • 8bits

    March 30, 2011 at 3:48 pm

    I would rate it 3/5
The show was okay… but as long as it sticks to more real, and what i mean is to be not as acted out. In other words. I really think James needs to ensure he has time to do both this show and keep it going and his regular reviews, there are still many shitty games to review, but i assume he just does them based on request and i know reviews are probably not easy to make sometimes but i like when its just james and that guitar guy.

  • Frein

    March 30, 2011 at 3:49 pm

Wow, you completely missed the point of this one. Of course they’re analyzing something completely irrelevant and stupid. That’s why it’s funny!
I mean, I could appreciate analysis on something more substantial, but that’s not what this show was created for.

  • March 30, 2011 at 3:50 pm

Fuck what everyone says, i had to stop the video to say how awesome suise is and her accent is

  • gusthebear

    March 30, 2011 at 3:51 pm

Why wasn’t this brought up? How do Batman and Robin switch poles mid slide? When going down Bruce goes on the right, Dick on the left, but when they come out as Batman and Robin they’re on opposite sides.

  • mbz

    March 30, 2011 at 3:51 pm

The show does seem a little forced. But I did laugh really hard a couple of times. The topic may be irrelevant to some, but very relevant to me. I always wondered what happened on the way down that pole and was surprised to hear that Mike and I have the same theory with the hidden dressing room……

I don’t like to criticize too much because I did like the show, but it would feel more natural if it was just people as themselves sitting around, slightly inebriated talking about all this weird stuff. In other words, just toss the script…..this is the kinda stuff that needs spontaneity.

  • BernietheShredder

    March 30, 2011 at 3:53 pm

HAHA that was great…I was liking the alternate dimensions idea…but then it begs the question: if it really IS an alternate dimension, what if Bruce Wayne and Batman are mutually exclusive entities and neither have anything to do with each other?!?! Now there’s an interesting theory!

  • mbz

    March 30, 2011 at 3:59 pm

Lol, what if between Bruce Wayne accessing the pole at the top and then, when we see batman, the camera’s filming a completely different dimension. In other words, there is no batman in the first dimension, it’s just Bruce Wayne running around dressed as himself fighting crime and in the other dimension, Bruce Wayne is always dressed as Batman, thus eliminating the need for a change of costume in either dimension……hmmmmmmm

  • March 30, 2011 at 4:01 pm

Hahaha! Terrific beginning to a great series James!

  • March 30, 2011 at 4:02 pm

Did he mean little red hood at the end?

  • Thus I Atone

    March 30, 2011 at 4:05 pm

In all honesty, the awesome preview video that was previously posted along with the really cool title card, I think sort of over-hyped this very mediocre first episode.

There needs to be more scene breaks with clips and/or visualizations of the suggestions made by the analyzers. I found myself getting bored when the talking went on too long.

Also, maybe I am just spoiled by the awesomeness of Mike and James, but whenever any of the other three were talking, I found myself simply wishing that it was a 1 on 1 conversation between Mike and James, like we see in some of the Board James episodes.

  • MikeBridges88

    March 30, 2011 at 4:06 pm

I liked it. Started pretty awkward and seemed more like the pre-meeting of an idea formulating. It picked up when James started going on about the alternate dimension idea. This might be down to the half-improv half-forethought thing going on. The sections that felt really improv were like wandering into a brain storming session you missed the beginning of.

Also, quite surprised hardly anyone realised that was her real accent. I like this Euro-flavour going on.

The other two guys (i.e. not Mike and James) didn’t get why they were there really. Perhaps first episode nerves. Actually thought the non-bearded one was about to melt away. Not because he was boring or anything, he just looks slightly ill.

  • headcase

    March 30, 2011 at 4:08 pm

As others have said, we know they don’t take a break because the movie has an “instant costume change lever”.

My guess is that there is a series of mechanical hooks that take their clothes off and put them on. It’s all precision guided; some of them are moving down faster than Bruce and Dick’s falling speeds in order to place\take items with a downwards motion.

I don’t know if the batcave’s depth was ever brought up in the tv series, but I’m going to say it was a long way down, giving the hooks the 20-30 seconds they need to do their work.

  • Berzul

    March 30, 2011 at 4:10 pm

To little visual, To long for such a trivial subject.

More animation or drawings or such, and probably shorter but precise videos. Maybe like everyone gets a turn on what they think and then gets to talk about it.

  • March 30, 2011 at 4:11 pm

yeh he did lmao i had to watch it agin it made more sense.

  • mbz

    March 30, 2011 at 4:11 pm

But, what if the hooks are precise but Dick and Bruce are off just an inch. They’d look more like Freddy Krueger coming out at the bottom than Batman and Robin….

  • Kickasjake

    March 30, 2011 at 4:12 pm

Well it kinda reminded me of the Drunk Tank from RvB but a poorer version to be honest. Besides Mike and James the others didn’t contribute much and I also found the accent a little annoying. It had some nice parts to it I’m sure it will improve but for a fist episode it feel short to me. Although I found it funny to see only Mike smirk at the bat pole remarks while everyone seemed to ignore it.

It was funny, though. I would give it a 4/5.

  • March 30, 2011 at 4:15 pm

Well, this certainly was interesting. ^^
Sometimes strange conversations are the best XD This was a conversation that I could have had as well, if I were more into Batman.

James, that fake accent is TERRIBLE. It is NOT FUNNY. She’s trying too hard. If she talked in her normal voice she’d be a hell of a lot more tolerable.

This is fact, not opinion. She’s not convincing.

  • March 30, 2011 at 4:25 pm

Not bad, but don’t you think that you started too much projects? πŸ™‚ I love the AVGN, I can’t wait for the next Board James, I want to know what’s bullshit, but this OverAnalyzers thing… I give it a last chance anyways. Maybe the problem is that I don’t really know the original Batman series. So keep it up guys!

HI James and also Everyone else involved -Susie, Matt, Lee, and MoFo Mike πŸ™‚ i love this website and i try to visit it everyday (cept there isnt much new every day n e more), but i check just in case lol, I enjoyed every single 1 your shows, i might have missed 1 or 2 (Monster Madness some of the intros and stuff are too gross for me, and i chicken out lol), and im not going to mention AVGN cept right now, but i cant wait for the movie and that is how i found out about your website! I have a Channel on Justintv, and i wanted to ask you if i can play this episode of OverAnalyzers on my channel! I wish it was longer and you had more topics, and SALSASALSA can kiss my little white butt! theres nothing wrong with the show, this is Cinemassacre not Oprah, the little imperfections are what people come back for, at least i think so! but yes i love your shows and i want to play the ones that aren’t being given the recognition it deserves and i think you need people to see more of your work (since there is a guy who already runs an AVGN channel on JustinTV) i would like to play some of your other shows and movie reviews. Simply because we can watch your shows and discuss it among friends, and Your AVGN channel on JustinTV has at least 200 viewers at any given time, and millions of followers around the world, but all the Broadcaster plays is AVGN and i doubt everyone who enjoys AVGN has had a chance to see your funny butt doing other stuff and we have a chat box beside the video as its streaming and we can discuss what we are watching (and poke fun at your expense too ;p LOL). and all that fun stuff, and instead of just doing it i figured i’d get your blessing (but if you say no i might just play this episode anyways randomly for my friends who havent seen this NA NA NA NA BOO BOO.. but thats it k) but i love your work and your friends and everything else in between! i really hope this becomes the next biggest thing since beavis and butthead!! <3 Mikaela

    March 30, 2011 at 4:27 pm

Ha! Like the idea. I do think the timing could be a little better, but the idea of this is hilarious. I used to debate this kind of stuff too with my friends and now I just dismiss it as suspension of disbelief. I don’t get why Stephanie is using the fake accent, but if she wants to go that route I’d say she should use it for more comedic value instead of just a quirk. Sometimes it can be funny how accented characters say a certain word or relate back to their own culture. On the whole though, really funny ideas here.

  • cornbred9

    March 30, 2011 at 4:32 pm

This was hilarious. I like this series a lot. It reminds me of the stupid crap I talk about with my friends. Also, Stephanie Yuhas is hilarious. Her accent is so funny when discussing such ridiculous subject matter. And I really liked the banter before James walked in. Thanks for the great stuff, as usual!

  • March 30, 2011 at 4:32 pm

Neat show so far, but I’m all with the others on Stephanie’s fake accent. It’s simply annoying. Have her speak normal English like everyone else on the table, then she wouldn’t need to hold back.

  • March 30, 2011 at 4:33 pm

There are a couple things I would like to talk about:

First, I love the concept and every video on here that is just you and Mike talking is awesome. Therefore, something like this should also be awesome but unfortunately it didnt turn out so well.

As many people have said, the girl ruins it with the fake accent and frankly doesnt seem necessary in the slightest. The other 2 guys barely said anything and seemed a little nervous and out of place.

I think the topic was terrible. Its only funny for people like you who loved the series but for people that are a little younger and have no memories associated with it, the topic sucked. As mentioned by other commenters, I would like to see you overanalyze something that is actually somewhat important or common to people like social habits.

I think you and Mike have the ability to save this series but you might as well cut out the chick and give the other guys some more lines. Topics similar to the ones you cover in YKWB would be nice cause the majority of your audience can relate to you on those.

I really hope you put some more thought into this series and maybe pick it up a little cause I think it has a lot of potential.

    Not bad at all James,

Kinda wish she’d drop the accent too,but It’s still a good video.

I LOL’d at the banter between you and Mike,

  • elmaistro99

    March 30, 2011 at 4:40 pm

no one mentioned that maybe the poles are really long. There should be enough time to change. The base is a cave so it would have to be really deep, hence the poles be very long. Thats my opinion =)

  • March 30, 2011 at 4:41 pm

You had me at the American Movie reference.

  • March 30, 2011 at 4:43 pm

I enjoyed the first episode but it seems a bit more raw than i had expected. The formula is there, and production value is perfect for this, but I think theres a happy medium between improv and scripted that wasn’t quite hit yet. This is obviously the first episode and there’s a lot of feeling it out to do. There are already a lot of fans of James and Mike’s back and forth banter, and that stuff we obviously already love, but I think the newer faces (Matt, Lee, and Stephanie) need to have more of a character hook to them so they don’t get lost and looked over. Seems like a decent amount of dislike is coming from the comments about Stephanie’s accent, and I have to admit I wasn’t a huge fan off the bat, but it does seem like a step in the right direction to give herself a unique place in the argument. As much as it’s supposed to be a simple sit down discussion, it seems like everyone kind of needs to develop their character. Ultimately, the content was enjoyable and I’m looking forward to future episodes.

  • March 30, 2011 at 4:57 pm

The idea is interesting, but I think it goes off the rails when everyone breaks “character” and starts riffing. Speaking of which, since this is the first episode and all, wouldn’t it seem appropriate to kind of establish why this crew is over-analyzing stuff? I think this point is crucial, especially if you’re going to have people acting in-character.

I really feel that if you’re going to continue to do episodes of this series you should either make it a fictitious premise playing heavily on written characters, or just improve the whole thing. While writing and planning out episodes is time-consuming and sometimes frustrating, you make it work well with the AVGN and Board James stuff, so it’s not a stretch of the imagination to think that you could do the same for this series as well.

In an ironic nutshell, this episode could have benefited from a little over-analyzing itself. I think your fans understand what you’re wanting to do and are willing to give you a pass on this one.

Heh. This was a pretty clever and cool little video. It’s a good topic too. Whenever my friends and I are talking about old TV shows and we come to Batman and Robin, this has always been a debate amongst us. We weren’t nearly as clever and witty, though. Great job guys! Also, I love seeing your friends in the videos with you. That’s one of the main reasons I loved watching the trivia book videos you did with them. The main reason I didn’t like the one with just James and Mike with no video was because my favourite part of the others was seeing everyone interacting and having a good time together. It’s nice to see everyone together and interacting.

    March 30, 2011 at 5:05 pm

Wicked nice show. really thought it was good, better than I expected and I expected a masterpiece! Can’t wait to see the next topic. My theory, like others said and I agree, is that the poles have to be really long.

hahahaha L.O.L, okay even before James said that maybe a (whatever) and mike looked like they never talked about it…, i said that it could be some kind of a biological teleporter… /that rip off the cloths… ( because they are biologically dead) then… ( whats left are their biological body’s), then they fell into the suits like the girls said in that animation that i never watched…

(remember that it’s probably spandex) so it sticks to their bodies.. if heated…

Forgot to mention it in my previous comment, but I agree with the other about Stephanie’s accent. I’m not saying it’s bad or annoying, but I find it’s not needed, she should just speak normally and it would be fine.

Cool concept. Mike stole the show for me! Hilarious stuff from him. My critique would be that because I didn’t know anyone besides James or Mike so some introductions to who each of the other characters were supposed to be could have been nice. I would have liked to see some title cards or cruddy flash animation too to illustrate some of your hilarious ideas, but hey maybe that’s asking too much from some improv.

    Very funny none the less.

So i’ve been a fan of this site for a long time now and while there has been some stuff that i don’t find particulary enjoyable, it was understandable because you can’t please everyone, people have different sense of humor. But this is something else.

This is a neat idea but executed in a wrong manner. How is this supposed to be improvised when there’s so much pre-planned stuff? It also feels like the “characters” are overacting like when James says “oh sorry for erasing that man” or how that chick talks with that obnoxious accent, it just feels unnatural and stiff. I’d rather have just a bunch of guys casually having a conversation in someone’s basement with some beers and just talk about these things CASUALLY. Instead of trying to make it into a serious business thing with a whiteboard and shit, maybe you’ll say i’m missing the point of the show, but if the point is taking silly conversations seriously and talking with annoying accents then it’s just not for me.

A shame really because this could have been a really great series if it wasn’t executed like this. Still thrilled to see more of your other works you guys and thanks for the countless hours of free entertainment, i just felt like sharing my two cents.

Please excuse any poor grammar or spelling errors, english is not my first language.

By the way, what’s up with Stephanie’s fake accent ? On the other video (the preview one) she sounded very american, but know she sounds russian. What gives ?

  • March 30, 2011 at 6:11 pm

After reading some other comments, I agree that the fake accent is pretty annoying. It feels like it distracts from what she’s saying.

  • LordPindar

    March 30, 2011 at 6:11 pm

Ha! I’ll tell you how they do it, it’s the oldest trick in the book: see, everybody automaticaly assumes that the two people we saw going down the pole are the same two that came down, but therein lies the error. Those two are notorious tricksters I tell you, and one should be extra careful not to assume anything

  • Xezma

    March 30, 2011 at 6:14 pm

Pretty interesting conversations, but I was mostly examining all of the stuff hanging on the board lol.

I saw a Krang cut out, and several pictures of Ernest, and a few Star Trek pictures, will these be upcoming conversations?

One question though, why did the girl use a fake accent? Seems unnecessary.

  • Shadowswimmer77

    March 30, 2011 at 6:17 pm

I enjoyed the debate and I actually have a bit more information for you: in the in-continuity classic Batman: The Movie, Bruce slaps down on a switch labeled “Instant Costume Change Lever” on his way down the bat-pole. There’s a red arrow pointing down and a green arrow pointing up, indictating the switch is used in reverse to change back out of costume. However, there is no further explanation of what the lever does; i.e. machinery, alternate dimensions, or whatever.

  • March 30, 2011 at 6:28 pm

I think their true forms are the Batman and Robin suits. Otherwise they are covered in wax. When they go down the poles they go through a quick 700 degree flash of heat that melts the wax. When they go back up, they get a quick wax mold pressing that takes approximately .46 seconds.

  • Sacia

    March 30, 2011 at 6:35 pm

I found myself laughing throughout the whole video. It seemed very well thought out but improved exceptionally well…. I hope Robin doesn’t turn into little red hood.

Only thing I disliked was susie and her fake russian accent. It was like the kryptonite to the rest of the humor.

    March 30, 2011 at 7:04 pm

Ignore the naysayers, James. I’d rather watch this show than any new show that’s on tv. I was looking at this from the perspective of if it was the Seinfeld pilot– it )the Seinfeld pilot) wasn’t spectacular, but it was pretty good and you’d never believe it would be so successful. Pilots are usually trials anyway. I hope to view more episodes of this show. I like Mike’s comments the best. James is a good moderator. The other dude is cool too as well as the woman.

  • March 30, 2011 at 7:05 pm

The pole is actually 5,000 feet long which gives them plenty of time to change into their costumes.

  • March 30, 2011 at 7:07 pm

I wanna see an episode on why Green Lantern doesn’t just use his ring to solve all of the worlds problems lol.

  • March 30, 2011 at 7:28 pm

It was pretty entertaining and enjoyable, although I will add that I agree with some of the criticisms that the girl having the Russian accent is unneeded and she should just be herself, and that it should be more casual.

Though I’ll also point out that our critiques won’t matter much unless things got changed along the way, because as I understand it, all the episodes have already been shot. Heh.

  • DeathBlow

    March 30, 2011 at 8:27 pm

    Checking in yet again.

The fact that a seperate room isn’t labelled is sort of not an issue because they don’t label that it instantly changes their costumes either.

    Here’s what we know…

    1. The distance from the tall mansion to the deep batcave cannot be very short. I’m willing to bet that direclty “sliding down” and the resulting friction would take at least a minute.

    2. We know that there is some sort of automation going on. There is a “Negate” switch to their costume changes outside of the Poles. There is also “instant-change” switch up and down.

    3. We know that travel can be up or down.

    4. We know that, while their technology is advanced for any one person to own at the time, it cannot be very advanced given the time period.

    5. We know that the laws of physics cannot be broken.

Based on this criteria, I think that there is a dressing room and that “instant” may be a term used loosely, to imply that it is a more direct way to get into the bat suit… or it may just be that it instantly changes whether the costume bit will happen going up or down.

It would be impossible to have such fast acting machines that could change clothing in a matter of seconds. Not only that, but it would be dangerous and impractical if they had to practice for that. Batman is a serious crime fighter. He doesn’t have time to worry about putting on a show.

He is worried about time however, which is why there should be some degree of automation.

    Picture this:

Both poles lead directly to the batcave.

If “Instant Level” = Down, then divert pole path to change room below switch mark. This will take them to a wardrobe with Bat suits.

If “Instant Level” = Up, then divert pole path to change room above switch mark. This will take them to a wardrobe with Civilian suits.

If “Instant Level” = Normal, then do not divert path, go directly to cave.

If “Negate” switch is active, go to change room, but negate which costume they selected to negate. This one is more tricky, but I’m betting that this has more to do with Alfred than Bruce or Dick because Alfred has to switch it. It could be something as simple as, don’t activate the machinery to bring up Bruce’s dirty laundry. It would still be acurrately labeled becuase it would be like the switch is telling a machine that the user has negated the change.

All this automation would occur by shifting various shaped pieces of pole to go into a different direction.

That’s all I got, but I think it answers a lot of questions.

This was pretty good. However… Susie indeed sticks out like a sore thumb. She seems mostly disinterested and less nerdy, and yeah, that face accent is annoying. The guy in red needs to debate more, but other than that he’s fine.

Oh well, it’s a first episode. I’m sure they’ll improve.

Also, I like the note on the wall behind James, with a calculation that results in “666”.

    Interesting new concept.

Mike, you just have that natural presence on camera that creates energy and immediately focuses the attention. Terrific.

Matt was quite funny as well. He’s a bit awkward, but in a very fitting way, and he has terrific diction and points. It’ll be fun to watch him as the show progresses.

Lee was very quiet, couldn’t get a lot from him, but he has a good presence.

Stephanie/Susie is playing things up too much, which is a shame because it completely deters from the very casual atmosphere, which I think is the major appeal here. I would agree, I think the accent is doing most of that, because it’s so underwhelming that it not only feels unnatural, but actually childish, and it loses the focus of the piece. She makes a couple good points though, she just needs to relax.

James, good role as the moderator, though I didn’t enjoy the closeup shots on you as they suddenly transformed you into “actor” mode as well, and I again lost that casualness and openness of the show.

Just my two cents! Will continue to support!

    To James and Mike

Interesting new idea. I’ll be sure to check them out as they come. If you’re interested in criticism and opinions from a long time fan and fellow nerd then read on. If not then that’s cool too, I just think that the best thing about internet entertainment is the collaborative nature and direct feedback.

    -Constructive opinions and criticism:

First of all, I like the way it’s shot with the shaky camera. It gives it a cool feel that contrasts the AVGN, which is great.

I like the idea of the whiteboard. I think that there should be either more emphasis on it or perhaps there should be simple little animations added that visually show the concepts that you discuss. Those could be very funny.

I noticed that some of it seemed a little bit forced. I’ll admit that the fact that some of it seems to be scripted is a good thing, it can help make sure that the topic is introduced clearly and that ideas are presented properly. But as everyone can relate to these kinds of discussions I think that the core of what makes them so entertaining is the spontaneity. I would like to see some of those moments that can only come at random that are the funniest moments in life actually be caught on camera.

I also think that the characters should be better introduced some how. I just felt like I had no idea who anyone was or what they were about. Besides James and Mike of course.

Don’t mean to sound rude, I just know that when i create something I love to hear criticism.

From: Curtis, long time fan of Cinemassacre
    Thanks for the endless entertainment.

Really cool guys. This new series has promise for sure. I’d agree with most everyone that Susie’s Russian accent is annoying. HOWEVER I think it would be a cool gimmick if each episode she inexplicably did a different accent and its never explained why. Or maybe the other characters could play off it or make references related to it. I personally enjoy little things like that in recurring shows. Keeps the audience coming back. It sure would make a lot of the haters eat their words.

Just a suggestion, do with it as you wish. Thanks for everything you guys do!

  • March 30, 2011 at 10:42 pm

Cool theme music! The girl has the accent down, but it seems a little out of place. It started out like it had a script, but soon turned into a sorta free for all debate with no script and the girl stayed in character so it seemed a bit off. Overall, I enjoyed this and will be sure to check out the next installment. Good hustle! πŸ™‚

On the white board it shows the letters “D, O, B”. Daniel O’Brien? As in Cracked.com’s and Atfer Hours’ Danel O’Brien? While After Hours is similar to Overanalyzers? Well played Mr. Rolfe, well played.

I liked the idea, but the conversation felt forced. Those kinds of conversations seem smooth when you’re a part of them, especially while drinking. But to an observer not a part of the conversation, pretty stifled. I hope to see more, I’m sure it will improve!

    March 30, 2011 at 11:05 pm

It was the first episode and it was rough around the edges, but it was enjoyable.

    Here are my thoughts.

    1. Suzie’s accent really must go. It just didn’t work and as you can see, a lot of people didn’t like it either.

    2. The other 2 guys didn’t have much presence in the video. You and Mike really stole the show. I’m not saying this because I only know the 2 of you. The other 2 guys just didn’t get enough lines in it. Suzie was memorable… but for the wrong reasons as everyone pointed out. Other than the accent, she was fine.

    3. The humor was great, and I don’t care if it was improv or scripted. As long as it’s funny, that’s all the matters, and this is funny.

    4. I didn’t mind the subject matter, but I can understand why some people didn’t care for it. It would be nice to mix things up down there line where you guys over analyze more real world things mixed with silly stuff like this.

  • rossbosstx

Its a cool concept, and well executed too. The only thing that really curdles my blood is the fake Eastern European accent. Never have the words “just stop it” entered my mind more quickly. Other than that, I look forward to more.

  • March 30, 2011 at 11:25 pm

I loved the episode, great concept.

I enjoyed Suzie as well, she had me roaring in laughter when she mentioned the suits as a chastity belt. However, I do have to agree that there is no need for the Russian accent.

  • Spaxspore

    March 30, 2011 at 11:42 pm

Good beginning. But you and mike are so natural, and really the chemistry between you two is gold. So good that it seems when you two talk i just want to hear you guys Rif. In the end it feels like the others input is a tad forced and i find myself just wishing it was just you and mike.

The accent must go for Suzie; seems even more out of place.

  • March 30, 2011 at 11:46 pm

ok….so riddle me this—or who is the joke on…there is one particular episode where the Joker is on the loose in Wayne Manor…and stumbles into the library/den…leans onto the sculpture/head, finds the switch to the bookcase…turns it on proceeds to go down the pole…here’s the interesting point, the Batman invokes the ‘landing cushion’ rocket to properll the Joker back up as so he does not have a chance to get access to the batcave…but when they show him the rocketboosted cushion sends him back up, thus thwarting a villain…so the real question–why doesn’t he have the batsuit on during his pole slide!

    My 2 cents…

  • malice2500

    March 31, 2011 at 12:19 am

this is a good question.i’m going with alternate dimensions only accessible through singularity technology from the batcave.

I like the idea, everything was entertaining, but for some reason the intro and the logo looked a little depressing for me , like its not happy enough, (i hope you get me) it looks like something i would watch on a tv like a boring cell phone commercial, the intro needs to be different and the music more cool, i think that choice of music is errr…. wierd… i like it but it just does not give me that smile like when i watch the nerd, you dont need to get angry and go ape shit to entertain i have seen your movie reviews and you dont freak out and they are entertaining to watch, but i think you need to change the intro the music or just modify it. (a huge fan)

“Oh i’m sorry for erasing that man!”

  • March 31, 2011 at 1:06 am

Nice nod to Borchardt with the erasing of the dry-erase board.

As far as the fake accent goes…ok Stephanie we get that you’re playing a character (Suzie), and good job committing to the role. In this instance I don’t think it works for many of the reasons people above me have already posted. The problem for me is that we’ve seen the Nerd and Motherfucker Mike in a lot of other things and though they may be “acting” they still sound pretty much like themselves in this series. And I think that’s what people like to see–people being themselves. Watching a fake accent is like watching George Lucas add in all that cgi to Star Wars ad nauseum: it distracts, not in a good way.

Buuut…it could be funny if the accent is a kind of running gag. Maybe some kind of messed up split personality that surfaces every now and again and makes the other characters uncomfortable but they don’t know how to approach it.

But please don’t be offended by anything I or anybody else is saying. Listen to the note, find something useful in it, and go on to making a better episode next time.

On the whole I liked the first episode. It opens up the series to a lot of potential. You guys could stay on target, on themes and topics, or you could even go crazy and gradually open the show up to side drama like Felicia Day did with The Guild. I look forward to the next one.

I do have to say, like everyone else, the Russian accent Suzie had was good and believable, but completely unnecessary for this type of series. To be entirely honest, the only ones that I can relate to are Mike and James. You guys are just naturally hilarious together. Unfortunately, I believe it just makes many of us fans wish that it was only you two doing the show. Overall, this was a pretty good start to the series since it is funny as well as unique (in my opinion). Keep up the good work guys!

Anyone ever watch that Filmation Ghostbusters cartoon? It was really cheesy and stupid but there was always this amazing sequence where the two heroes go through this bizarre room that changes their clothes for them. There are mechanical arms and conveyor belts and all sorts of crazy stuff going on.

Now, I’m not saying there’s another room connected to the Bat pole but maybe there are conveyor belts and mechanical arms in control of the change in the actual chute.

    Lets go Batman and Robin!

  • KrisPcueKumber

    March 31, 2011 at 3:30 am

what if batman decided to go down the pole naked? would it clothe him or leave him naked? maybeeee it does the bodypaint instead of the the clothes for the batsuit… so that way he is still naked but the poleslide still changes him into the batman…?!?!?! this only brings other questions to mind… like for example if alfred times the cancellation switch right could batman come down naked? Anyway i liked the show it made me think alot about nonsensical batverse senarios… also the pictures of the borg queen kissing data in the backround made me cringe just like it did in the movie lol…

This has good potential, but I can see a few issues with it. You’re all a bit too quiet and stiff, a lot more energy and chaotic ideas bouncing around would make for a far more enjoyable show. I’d equate this show a lot to After Hours on Cracked.com; they do a lot of overanalysing as well, but far more comedic.

The topic didn’t really interest me much, but I liked the format. Instead of a dry-erase board maybe you should show the 5 of you actually watching the clips from the show or whatever you’re talking about on a tv in the room instead of inserting them later. Overall was enjoyable, and has the potential to be alot better. Mike monopolizes conversations lol

    March 31, 2011 at 7:07 am

you know it actually very easy, they wear their outfits on top.To do that mechanical arms hold the out fit.Now the outfits are made way diffrently they are one piece of clothing but on the top there is a zipper from the one shoulder to the other and the cape (or that yellow thing) covers it.So when you go down you just put legs and hold on to the pole with hands and vise versa and the mask is being put with mechanical hands after a while or at first.when you go up mask goes the same way it comes and then you just unzip the zipper and the poutfit falls to the mechanic hands from gravity and the force of the steam.Oh and as for the switch it makes the mechanical arms just take the outfit away from the poles. Thanks for reading and i hope i solved your question ,Flaming Phoenix sings out.

  • March 31, 2011 at 8:57 am

I liked this video and I think it’s a good start to something great. The way you directed this was well done and professional looking, at times it was hilarious, and other points it seemed to drag out (the batman pole joke was fun, and then it ran too long in my opinion), but it’s a good start and much better than what I could do.

    March 31, 2011 at 11:27 am

This was a great pilot. The topic of discussion and what it promises for the future is a great idea. Keep it up, looking forward to more.
I have two major gripes though.
First, why does it need to be a fictional show? There are plenty of talk programs on the internet and that’s what this is. You all talk like yourself and you all talk about things that interest you personally. When I look at it, I don’t think of you as characters, but just as yourself. Besides I’m not really interested in your acting chops, I’m interested in what you really think and who you really are, which is why I’ve been such a fan of AVGN and the movie reviews.
Second, the accent of Suzie has got to go. As an actor myself, I guess I’m extra sensitive to it like a musician can hear every string being played. If any of the other characters had accents it might fit, but it sticks out like a sore thumb. It is so unnecessary and an accent doesn’t make a character. Sitting through her lines was utterly unbearable. You have to understand that when you do an accent, you are giving up a section of your cognitive ability that would otherwise go into making you sound more believable. That’s why Americans doing English accents always sounds so hokey. Because accents that you do have to be second nature. I can see Suzie thinking about making sure her accent is natural. But I don’t care about her being Russian. I don’t care if she has a back story, because there would have been a focus on that in the pilot to make me care.
Please don’t make me have to hover my mouse over the mute button when I try to watch the episode! πŸ™‚

  • March 31, 2011 at 11:44 am

Great pilot. Reminds me of the dumb stuff my friends and I sit around and talk about. Is Susie’s accent real? Thought she was hot then got 100% hotter when she started speaking.

  • Nightmare19

    March 31, 2011 at 11:59 am

Overall, pretty good! However, with seeing the preview the other day, why is Susie using a forced accent? Whats the point? I say don’t use it for the next episode. Actually someone should stop her in mid sentence and tell her to stop that!

  • March 31, 2011 at 12:00 pm

My… GOD Woman loose the accent! It’s like an American attempting Russian that she learnt by watching an Indian actors attempting to hit American!

Love the new concept though. Bit confused exactly why characters are needed, especially because your characters have pretty much the same names, and seem to basically be you but hey, it’s your show, if that gets you into the mind frame then all good.

That being said. Accent. Get rid. For the love of all that is holy… Get. Rid. Please.

  • browncoat

    March 31, 2011 at 12:06 pm

I thought it was ok. I agree with what a lot of other people are saying concerning James and Mike. They pretty much carried it and the other characters are somewhat useless in this episode. In fact, I think Mike is the strongest character in this episode. His obsession with seeing Batman naked is pretty much the only thing that really made me laugh.

Susie’s accent doesn’t work………at all. Her character is fine otherwise.

Matt and Lee didn’t seem to bring much to the table, especially Lee.

I would rate it a 2.5 out of 5. I think the show has potential but some of the characters take away from the comedy in the show.

  • Macaro1

    March 31, 2011 at 12:07 pm

this was a good episode. i agree with everyone it should be just james and mike because they are the ones thinking of the ideas. overall it was funny and ready to see more ideas you guys come up with.

my opinon on the bat pole: after they get on their poles and they slide down we see bruce switch on the lever after that i believe there is a scanner that scans the costumes on them while taking the clothes away and when they go up, the scanner is still on, it does the same thing but in reverse it removes the costumes and give them their clothes and then they turn the scanner off by flipping up the lever.

btw to anwser jarvi’s comment with my opinon: i think that when they build it bruce and dick registered themselves by scanning their bodys then design the costume to match them. so when they slide down it analize what is being scan and puts the costume on the right person the reason the joker would not be is the bat/robin suit is because he was not registered in the system so the scanner would not work on him

  • March 31, 2011 at 1:00 pm

I like this idea, is not as “offensive” as the nerd, so it’s the kind of thing you could watch on tv. My only complaint is that James dominates the scene so much that makes the other guys look like invited guests, maybe with the exception of Mike Matei.

Speaking about The Nerd, I’m looking forward to watching that movie.

I think this show would be better with just James and Mike. If they keep dominating the conversations like this though I guess I don’t mind the other people being there.

Maybe I’ll even warm up to these other people, but more than anything if episodes continue like this they will just serve as distractions.

No offense towards everyone else, but Mike and Rolf have the best banter.

  • Legato32x

    March 31, 2011 at 1:19 pm

First I’ll list my thoughts about the actors.

James – It’s cool to see you in a relaxed, talkative manner instead of the usual angry character we all know so well. You should be the mediator more often and control the use of the marker board. I think that would bring a interesting concept into the movies.

My only problem is that you weren’t talkative enough and the topic wasn’t explained as clearly as I first thought. You’re the central character and should make sure the viewer understands the debate and why it’s being discussed.

Mike – You bring the most energy to the show and are an incredible on-air character. You really come to life during these discussions and bring a lot of humor the topics. However, sometimes it seems you are so excitable that you shut out other people when they try to make a point. You may not realize it, but sometimes you steal the spotlight from the others. Some of the other people appear to be shy and by taking that spotlight, it makes it more difficult for them to come out of their shell.

Stephanie – You make interesting points. I especially liked the idea of the suit being like a chastity belt, that was very funny. Like I’m sure you’ve heard already, you’re accent is strangely out of place and sometimes it is difficult to understand what you are saying. It makes it difficult to keep track of the conversation at times.

Lee – Unfortunately, I can’t say much about you. You didn’t say much during the show and the taping could’ve been completed without you honestly. You should speak up more and get some ideas flowing when you have some that come into your head.

Matt – You had some great ideas as well but like Lee, you need to speak more. I can see you have a character that’s eager to participate but you seem to have a wall of shyness in front of you. Do your best to break through that and get the ideas going.

Now I want to make some comments about the show in general.

Good points – Interesting topic especially when they are retro ones for the fans who are watching. It was very funny and very entertaining and is a fresh idea to make me come back to this site for regular updates. I think all the characters are great and have potential to make this a very popular show. The slightly shaky, freelance camera gives the show an authentic feel as if you’re watching you and your friends making a home movie or recording a fun debate.

Bad points – There needs to be more balance between everyone who is speaking but however you go about that, I do not know. I want to hear from all everyone as equally as possible because I’m interested in the points everyone has to note. The marker board I feel is essential and could lead to some interesting and hilarious moments and should be used more often.

That said, I look forward to the next episode and hope I helped with the feedback.

  • Jakobi

    March 31, 2011 at 1:20 pm

    @ elcavlo

I disagree because Mike had the most dialogue and camera time.
There are so many topics that this show could cover and I look forward to seeing more of them

  • Derp108

    March 31, 2011 at 1:34 pm

Personally, I really loved this. I can’t wait to see more. Even if the topics are silly, it’s shit that I would totally love talking about with friends. I mean, that’s the point of the show really.

My only issues with it are:

Stephanie. Please, please drop the accent. Just talk normal. Your points were funny/interesting, but I don’t like the character. It was distracting.

The other two guys Lee & Matt, you are a little too shy. It’s okay, only the first episode. But really work on your presence on camera, and not being afraid to just say insane shit. I liked your points, but you seemed timid. Especially in comparison to Mike and James.

That’s the only criticisms I have. Mike and James were fantastic, and I love the premise of the show. I can’t wait to watch more, and I hope that eventually the entire group works the kinks out. I’m sure they will, it’s always tough doing round table discussions. You have to build chemistry and a flow with the other people. It seems easier than it looks. It’s not.

Think it probably needs to be said again as James’s message is now surrounded by comments but Stephanie’s accent is a REAL Hungarian accent. If it was fake then yeah totally weird having someone have a fake accent amongst them.

This is basically to counter the criticisms of the accent which when taken out of the context of misunderstanding, are sounding slightly racist…..I am form the UK though – we’re paranoid about the kind of shit

    Hi Cinemassacre,

I’ve been a fan since the youtube Nintendo nerd days, and I’ve never commented on any videos until today. I love watching your material, and monster madness playlists usually come on whenever I’m working on something on my computer.

That being said, I’d like to give my opinion on the OverAnalyzers. I did not enjoy watching it, and I couldn’t even finish watching the video, which is odd because I’m a huge Adam West Batman fan and Cinemassacre fan! You’d think I’d love the combination. The reason I didn’t enjoy the video was because of the serious overacting going on, it was too hammy for me to enjoy.

    Hey James,

Great new concept! I can’t wait to see more of this show.

As soon as you introduced the concept, my mind immediately went to the Season 2 episode, “Pop goes the Joker”. In this one, the Joker actually makes it onto the bat-pole. @malice2500 the reason that he doesn’t have a batsuit put onto him is because Alfred had not washed the other set of costumes. Lucky too that Alfred had removed the batsigns earlier in the episode so that he could do some repainting.

This same episode features one of the closest looks down the batpoles from the 60s tv show. You can see a clip of it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eO9LHPqScoY, most notably at 28 seconds. Keep watching after it switches over Aunt Harriet because there’s more with Alfred and the Joker.

    – kc

PS: Susie, Hungarian accent, yes! Thumbs up.

Ok James please tell me what the fuck was that about??? LOL your too funny. This has great potential, episode was enjoyable but felt short, “Susies” accent is there for the sake of being there and is honestly annoying. The picture of Earnest behind “Jims” head, while funny, instantly grabs my full attention and distracted me from what was being said. Looking forward to see where this goes, hoping this is a pilot episode so you could make a few changes. As it is right now it feels almost as if it could just be a podcast, the video footage wasnt really neccessary. Longer episodes with more discussion is the way to go.

Now we know what the scientists looking for a cure for the common cold are doing…… they’re wondering what the hell happened to Batman’s clothes! Seriously though that was pretty funny. But I’ve got a hypothesis of my own…….. maybe the two them just have really bad cases of schizophrenia and just run around in their living room going “bana-na-na-na-na-na-na-na Batman!” an that is what they see (it would be hilarious if they did a movie like that). Just an idea. Anyway keep it up, it’s awesome.

James and Motherfucker Mike were the best. The other two guys weren’t funny or charismatic, and Sousie was the worst. Everyone’s trying to look unscripted and natural, and she’s the only one acting. I say drop everyone and stick with another James \ Mike duo.

The others beside you and Mike, James, seem a little bland right now, but this is the first episode. I think they will get better with time. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of this series.

OK. Nothing I would really watch again. If it were just people talking, unscripted, about things that in the long run might not mean anything at all, it would have been good, but this had the look and feel of a lot of scripted “reality” shows.

Her accent made the whole thing very stupid. Not in a funny-stupid way. Just stupid.

loved it. lots and lots of potential. i loved the set and the cinematography. quality was really tight, man. great job. the girls fake accent was a bit annoying though. however, if it is in fact real, my bad. the dry erase board is a great visual; really helps the comedy. and most importantly, it was funny.

i feel like this could be a tv show or something. like you guys have been commissioned to come up with ideas for various entertainment types–tv, movies, video games and eventually just go off on tangents with overanalyzing. its niche, but i’d love it.

thanks for posting it. it made me register to comment.

I’ve been waiting for this one. Like some other ppl said her fake accent was distracting, and the other 2 characters were kinda bland. You and mike were awesome though. Besides dropping the accent and giving the other 2 guys interesting lines, I think this show may be more enjoyable if it was unscripted, and a bit longer. But on the whole, good work, theres a lot of potential here.

Love the style and having James as ringleader. Motherfucker Mike is magic!

Was fun and look forward to more… but all we really need is James/Mike duo. You guys have a natural delivery/flow, you are the perfect mix on your own.

You fools! It is so obvious! There is an exhauster with a hose, that rips off Bruce’s and Robin’s suits, but it doesn’t destroy it (after all, Wayne’s maybe rich, but even he needs to wait five days for a descent suit), so the suits got to have hook-and-loop fasteners. Then there’s a machine for the bat suit like the one for christmas trees, that ends right where they appear again fully bat suited up. This machine got like an endless tube of costumes where they just slight in. When Alfred uses the switch, the machine disappears into the left wall and a second from the right appears, that dresses them in a horizontal pattern. All they got to do is to close the hook-and-loop fasteners. And if Batman would use Robin’s rail, he got stuck into the machenry.

It could have been fun, but the fat girl with the worlds worst fake Ukrainian accent ruined it.

The guy who wasn’t Mike didn’t add much to the discussion — and looked a little greasy. Do you have a smarter, more hygienic, friend with which he could be replaced?

James I was so shocked by this that I had to comment the first time ever on one of your awesome productions. I was always fascinated by every thing you did. I love every video you have done till now. But this is something so different. The concept is awesome and I am looking forward for the next episodes but I did not like this pilot. My major problem with it is the terrible miscast. Not like the most critics of this thing before me I actually think Susie is the most moderate character besides you and mike. The two others are TERRIBLELY awkward and insecure. I just can’t get any entertainment out of this thing because it gets cock blocked all the time by these people who seam not to have any of the vibes required for your intended vision for this project. I won’t say this thing is a total failure but for me it’s not the quality content i am used to. I have nothing against the more “mainstream” style but keep the spirit up man. Anyways this is just my opinion and after all i still having hopes for this.

Yo James, I enjoyed the thing in overall. I do have to agree with a lil bit of everyone’s comment. I think it would have been interesting to see the comments about susie’s accent if you didn’t sold her a couple day before in a video interview of you by her at her natural haha. Being French Canadian, I think I might have fell for it and thought she was really Russian. I’m sure the best is to come man, do what you like at your own pace and … yeah that’s it !

  • March 31, 2011 at 9:33 pm

TAKE….THE WOMAN….OUT or take away the annoying accent!! And the other 2 guys need some enthusiasm.

Wow i’m sad right now. I was expecting something pretty good coming from you. But big disapointment for me.

It’s like Deleted Scenes on a DVD you watch it thinking you gonna get something good but it’s always crap.

I was waiting for something interesting, fun or entertaining to happen but nothing. Painful and boring.

Sad cause usualy i like your stuff !

Sorry for the bad review but that’s what i think. πŸ™

  • March 31, 2011 at 9:41 pm

Like the others say, I think it would’ve been better with just you and Mike. Hearing the fake (and bad) accent from “that bitch” and the lack of any charisma from the other 2 dudes doesn’t make it as enjoyable. I liked it, yeah, but you and Mike have a much more familiar relationship than that between you and the members of Cinevore.

It isn’t bad, but if you can somehow manage to make it just you and Mike, the whole thing would be GOLDEN!

  • March 31, 2011 at 9:48 pm

The solution is rather simple! The clothes are not normal! They have a mechanism that puts the clothes together or takes them apart. Picture like a magnetic buttons that are all over the clothes. They’re hidden by the fabric or whatever. When Batman and Robin go down the pole, the clothes are taken apart and put back together. Depending on how this mechanism works, they may or may not be wearing a chastity belt.

  • March 31, 2011 at 10:05 pm

This would be much better with just James and Mike. Ditch the rest of the cast. If you could add a third person, I would pick the guy who plays Bad Luck Bootsy.

  • March 31, 2011 at 10:24 pm

It’s very similar to cracked series. But I like the angle here, it feels a lot more intimate and honest. I’d love to know more on the background here, are these your friends? Is your wife one of the them? Who is twenty1?

Non-essential inquiries of course. But burning questions in the mind of a CInemassacre fan.

Great idea and a cool new show…except for that horrible accent. When I heard it, I paused the video and considered not watching the rest of it. Yeeeesh. Next video, lose the accent and, for continuity purposes, she can explain that she sold it on eBay to an aspiring cartoon villain. Either that, or flat out deny ever having an accent, followed by an awkward silence. James and Mike were great…I’m willing to give the others a chance to get warmed up, but please no more fake accents. Maybe if you were talking about Moose and Squirrel….

  • March 31, 2011 at 11:09 pm

Great show. Although I agree that some members of the cast barely added anything to the show other than numbers.

Hopefully we’ll see an episode about how pokΓ©balls work. I don’t like PokΓ©mon but that just bugs me and it’s so… wrong.

Someone needs to call the japanese whalers on that fat ugly bitch. God damn, I love AVGN, I love James, but this is lame… James and Mike are awesome but the other 2 guys and that whale are just trying too hard. Just sit James and Mike on a sofa in front of a TV watchinga a movie and let them talk nonsense for 10 minutes, that would be funny, but those other guys are poison for the greatness of James and Mike.

  • March 31, 2011 at 11:57 pm

It seems like 4 friends casually talking about a silly subject…and one person playing an unnecessary character. It feels like the whole voice was created just to say “ball insertion.” James and Mike have great back and forth, but the character that the chick is playing doesn’t feel at all needed.

  • April 1, 2011 at 12:58 am

    Great job James and friends!

Not sure why everyone is bitching about their being too many cast, I thought it was great, nice variation on the characters.

OverAnalyzers is awesome in my book!

Hey James, I think you missed one of the more obvious answers. Batman and Robin wear three sets of clothes (the crime fighting suites in the middle) and as they go up and down the poles they get sprayed with a chemical that bio-degrades that layer of clothing and reveals the set underneath. (Different layer get different sprays that are chemically engineered to dissolve different layers). He’s rich he can afford to destroy three sets of clothes everyday.

A better topic would have been weather any rich prick could be batman. Short answer β€œYes”. He’s not a super hero, he’s just an elitist with to much time on his hands, just getting his rocks off playing a dark knight.

Clearly the clothes go into a separate dimension of space called Z-space and they store them there temporary.

I think the comments are being overly harsh. The other two guys could use some more work and get more lines, but overall I didn’t have a huge problem with it. It was a very fun episode. Accent, while a little distracting at first, was something I got used to by the end of the episode. I’m sure things will get better as it goes along.

Though I wonder, is James going to “lead” all the time? It’s not a bad thing if he does, though it would be interesting to see different characters “lead” new discussion every episode. Either way, I look forward to future episodes.

Hey James….I’v been a long time fan of your work and I really love your stuff!! I must be honest though…i wasn’t really feeling this new concept ….i would have preferred it to be just you …. or maybe its just the first impression i got …i will give it a couple more shots. I really admire or creativity.

I gotta say I didn’t like this. I know you’re trying to do different things but, I’d much rather see two AVGN episodes a month than this bullshit. AVGN is your bread and butter man don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

    general analysis (lol, of overanalysers)
it seems like they’re trying to make susie the new kid and introduce the other people slowly? it’s a lot to introduce a lot of new characters at once, and it;s the first episode, so it might be too early to tell.

even though i didnt know a lot about the topic, i still loled a LOT and i will probably like it even more if they do something newer like new batman, hulk (in the background!!).

i didn’t notice until i went to comment, but i had to add that i’m actually pretty shocked at all of the personal attacks here. you know james, mike, and everyone else on here is a real person. it’s not like you’re screaming at Ke$sha or some billionaire – they are real people who are trying to make you laugh for free. think about that every time you post mean stuff on a youtube video/etc.

I think the video looks pretty good! Not just that, but take a look at the first nerd video James created. Compared to the the 100th video. it took a LONG time for Nerd to grow to the epic quality that it’s at now – be patient. i like it that it’s somewhere other than the normal nerd room (dont get me wrong, i love the nerd room)

    The Topic:
I would have rather the new batman movie or maybe the cartoon series because i dont know too mch about old batman. i dont understand – is old batman trying to be serious? or is it supposed to be funny? that makes all the difference becayse if it’s already supposed to be stupid, there is no use in making fun of it for being useless. but it is funny that the dick pole is thicker, i loled.

james: OMG AMERICAN MOVIE, lol! i dont understand the robin – dimension, etc. speech. maybe it;s an inside joke from the series, or im assuming it something totally ramdom like family guy? i was confused because i thought it was going to be an analysis with a conclusion, but maybe that’s the joke.

mike: you should wear blue more, it’s a good color. you’re hilarious in the video and i can tell you are making it up on the spot. whenever i see you in the background laughing, i laugh even more.

    The Girl/Accent:

it’s funny! it actually reminds me of my babsia (grandma in poland).i don’t think comments like “ball insertion” would be half as funny w/o the accent. I think that if the preview vid was never put up, nobody would even notice eastern european accent and assume that’s either real or a fun character. maybe delete the preview vid so nodbody hear her regulr voice?

plus, im not sure if even the posters/criticizers think of this, but dont you think you;re giving her a hard time because she is the first girl ever on this website? maybe im only thinking of this because i’m also a girl, but it seems like this is more of a boysclub, and girls aren’t that welcomed into the world of nerds. i cant tell you how many times someone has said, “oh, you play games pretty good. for a girl.” when i was in middle school, boys would throw these huge fits because i was a girl and i beat them at games…but i digress.

    The other two guys:

Maybe the microphone was too far away from purple coat guy or something because he sounds like he is talking in a bathrooom. his line are the funniest! i wish he talked more, but i’m glad he didn’t in a way or else everyone would be pissed and say, “let mike and james talk, who is this a$$h0le hogging the screen?!”same goes for the other guy – it looked like he was trying to let mike and james be the stars because they are.

    topics i want to see:
black swan, x-files, superman (maybe), spiderman, new batman, pokemon, iron man (1or2), inception, 127 hrs, charie sheen, lol!

i think you are all doing a good job and i want to see more to see what it means. im a little confused because it’s weird, but in a good ‘im curious’ way.
