LOL This movie looks hilarious with it’s absurdity. I gotta see it now.

  • February 25, 2011 at 1:54 am

Wow. That looks like some quality cinema. I wasn’t a big fan of Tokyo Gore Police but this one looks like it’s a little more tongue-in-cheek.

    February 25, 2011 at 4:46 am

ive never seen this movie, but the trailer is a running joke amongst me and my friends. absolutely hilarious.

anyone who is actually going to watch this movie, def check out The Machine Girl and Tokyo Gore Police too. those movies came before this one, and had a lot of the same people work on this. im telling you, all these movies are freakin crazy.

and if, by chance, you get into watching these types of movies, for the love of God, DO NOT watch a movie called Samurai Princess. just…dont

  • angelspawn77

    February 25, 2011 at 4:49 am

Im not a fan of these types of movies, they’re a bit too over the top for my tastes, but nevertheless great review James.

  • February 25, 2011 at 5:13 am

I saw this when I was at Otakon 2010. This movie was just so damn funny and me and a few other friends that were with me were just riffing the hell out of it while watching it. One of the best times I’ve had watching a movie ever. And felt even better when other people around me started laughing at our riffs.

    February 25, 2011 at 6:59 am

I honestly get just about, if not as, excited about James’ movie reviews as an AVGN episode. Really, this or AVGN or YKWB or Board James. Any content is great but I find myself craving the movie reviews and AVGN the most.

    February 25, 2011 at 7:04 am

This movie was awesome. Liked Machine Girl and Tokyo Gore Police better though, this felt a bit too much for me (the blood was too fake). But I still have them all on DVD. A store in my neighbourhood also had Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl, still haven’t seen it though

    Holy motherfucking… SHIT.

  • February 25, 2011 at 10:09 am

Damn man, I gotta watch those movies!

BTW, any chance you can do a Top 30 Least Favorite Films 3-part video? I know you did a Top 30 Most Favorite Films 3-part video last year, so I can’t help but wonder if you would like to do a complete 180 and tell us the movies you would LEAST recommend to us.

  • Jigglysaint

    February 25, 2011 at 10:26 am

Wow that looks awesome. Awesome in a funny way that is.

  • February 25, 2011 at 10:51 am

Robogeisha and Machine Girl are probably the two weakest entries in the these Tokyo Extreme films, I much prefer Nishimuras stuff like Tokyo Gore Police. But if anyone is interested in checking out these films probably the best example is Mutant Girls Squad, which was diretced by both Nishimura and Itaguchi (who did MG & RG) and also stars Tak Sakaguchi.

  • thegreatace

    February 25, 2011 at 10:56 am

this is definitely a wtf movie. honestly..
    honestly, arm pit swords? wtf.

  • lartrak2

    February 25, 2011 at 1:07 pm

Yeah, definitely looks like a weaker entry in those films. There’s a certain point with CG crap like that where they lose me. And I say this as someone who liked Tokyo Gore Police.

Hated Machine Girl though. Who knew a movie with such random weird ideas could be so boring? Well, having bad acting and almost no storyline for huge chunks of the film will do that, coupled with terrible action scenes and blah CG gore.

  • avgnfan3

    February 25, 2011 at 2:22 pm

I totally lost it at the part with the buildings bleeding, I almost passed out!!!!

  • AnimePete2211

    February 25, 2011 at 4:20 pm

Never heard of that movie before but here some parts what Beavis and Butt Head would say

Beavis: Whoa check it out Butt Head there’s like ninja star things coming out of their butts Hnn heh

Butt Head: Yeah and Machine gun boobs

    Beavis: Yeah that movie rules.

Butt Head: Yeah that movie kicks ass Uh huh huh huh.

And here some from Speedy Cerviche from Samurai Pizza Cats

Speedy Cerviche: That’s really weird since when do buildings have blood not to mention, goils wearin Gonzo masks, a pagoda becoming a giant robot and destroyin’ Little Tokyo I better use the Supreme Catatonic against dat ting.

    It’s called Enthiran. It’s a Tamil movie from 2010.
    Amazing action!!! Enjoy!

3 years ago, i watched the trailer, thinking it was just a joke, not a real movie, but then in my mail arrives a flyer advertising this movie, Machine Girl, and other ones, as available om DVD.
I was really surprised, i don’t know if it was in a good or bad way. XD
and then i see this review, and i’m really speechless, i watched and red some really weird shit, but this leaves me really without words.

I hate to say this James but if you think this movie is “awesome” you’re sniffing glue.

  • March 5, 2011 at 4:37 pm

    To quote James:

” One punch activates the bomb and then……….BOOM! ”

yes you heard right BOOM and plenty of it!

The problem with this movie is that everyone acting in it takes it way too seriously. This is a problem I find with a lot of Japanese schlock movies. It just sucks all of the fun out of the experience.

Also, the parts outlined in the video only make up about twenty minutes of the whole movie. The thing is padded to hell and back.

  • RocketeerRaccoon

    March 6, 2011 at 5:32 am

What the hell? This movie is crazy. 😀

  • Paulballsftw

    March 6, 2011 at 6:27 pm

Hey James I have rented some of those other movies you metioned from netflix but haven’t seen this one yet. There was one that you should see though. It’s better then this movie in a more weirder way. It’s called Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl. You got to see that movie.

  • March 6, 2011 at 7:16 pm

soooo….. I’m gonna go buy this movie RIGHT NOW! This movie looks awesome!

LOL nice review James. MUST …. GET …. THIS …… MOVIE!!!! It looks epic ROFL!!!!

  • March 19, 2011 at 8:25 pm

This is just like Super Mecha Death Christ 2000, but with samurai stars shooting out the ass! How much better can this get? And then flying higher than mount Fuji, barfing, and exploding? And machine gun breats? And perverted politicians talking about their last three minutes, being like sitting on a toilet, and taking a crap? Yup. This is one movie I have to see.

  • March 23, 2011 at 4:47 pm

Wow this movie looks so horribly corny I almost want to watch it. You review of it was awesome James! Funny stuff.

How can they be shooting throwing stars out their butts when they’re wearing panties?

Giant robot pagoda walking around? It seems like something only Japan can think of… I can imagine it being on Power Rangers or Ultraman.

    What is this? I don’t even know…Only in Japan…

Hey James! I feel like I should let you know that in a lot of your reviews and videos (esp. Godzilla stuff) you refer to Japanese Castles as “Pagodas” when in reality, they are actually called Castles.

Here are some links to show the difference:

Famous Castle in Osaka: (almost all major cities have a famous castle that Godzilla would smash)

    http://www.google.ca/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=osaka+castle

    Japanese Pagoda:

    http://www.google.ca/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=japanese+pagoda

I know I know, they are kinda similar for us westerners. Although in Japan, big difference.

    Later all!

Awesome movie. And there are so many more from the land of the rising sun. When it comes to epic-trash films, those Japanese just got it.
btw.: James, you should defenitley check out (if you haven’t yet) “Zebra-Man”. It’s like the japanese B-Movie version of Kick-Ass. Much fun.

  • February 11, 2014 at 3:56 pm

The Japanese filmmakers have gone to some very strange yet enjoyable extremes since Shinya Tsukamoto did with his three Tetsuo films.
