I’m in this video! At 35 seconds in, when James said “I signed a flask” I’m the red head in the green jacket staring off into space, ha ha. Holy crap, I’m in this video! At 52 seconds! I’m the one with the maroon sweatshirt. (man, I should have worn more than I did. It was cold outside, and I waited out there for hours. It was worth it, though)
James, if you’re reading this, I’m the one who had you sign the Top Gun, Ghostbusters, Bart vs. the Space Mutants, and Super Mario Bros. 3 games. Also, I saw a copy of the dumbass Super Mario Bros. movie there, so I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to have you sign it since you hated it so much. I bought it, for only five dollars. It was fun to talk to you about your videos, and games, and I still have a picture of you with me.
Mike, I’m glad I got to talk to you as well, about Board James, Bugs Bunny, your drawings, and the aforementioned Super Mario Bros. movie. Also, thank you for signing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles title card along with James.
I typed way more than I thought I would but that is because the experience was so enjoyable, and I was actually in the video for a second. I had been waiting to meet James for 4 years, and he’s nice. This is my first comment on Cinemassacre, hopefully the next ones will be shorter.

I used to frequent the forums on the Digital Press website. I always wanted to visit the store, but a MA to NJ road trip isn’t something I can do on a whim. Any time I have gone to Jersey has been to either visit a college friend or go to the AnimeNEXT convention, and they’re both like 30-45 minutes from Digital Press. Had I had prior knowledge that you were going to be making an appearance there, I would’ve made an exception – despite being 9 months pregnant – to make the 5 hour drive so I could meet you and visit Digital Press in one fell swoop.
Also I love how your movie reviews and AVGN eps are so famous that you’re signing other people’s creations because you reviewed them. Now THAT’S celebrity.

Cause I can definitely see people waiting in that LONG ass line wanting you to sign their 24 pack of Rolling Rock…waiting in line for 2 hours, 8 beers in, having to pee. I’m always surprised (in a good way) at the number of people that come out to these events to get things signed. Also it’s ironic that MF Mike’s signature is pretty basic and not flashy or wild considering all the artistic talent he has with the title cards.
Would have been sick if Kyle Justin and Nostalgia Critic made it too. Not sure if those four have all been together at once?

Ok, after watching.. there is no way this is the episode. Mostly because he said there would be tons (maybe not tons, but I remember him saying a lot at least) of illustrations by Mike. In this video there were none.
So rejoice! The AVGN episode is coming but… still.. not… up.
I get off Sundays and Mondays.. and for this week and next I took off Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday giving me a two day work week. Hey, had to use up the vacation days before they disappear at the end of the year (only five roll over).
I was really excited because I knew the episode would be up Friday like usual.. and then he said it was delayed but left no indication of what this could mean.. a day.. a week? Are we going to get it the last week of the month? I don’t know but I’m really hoping it’s coming soon and this is the first time that I’m actually getting physically antsy for it. While that mind sound nerdy, I’ve never had that sort of feeling overcome me in his entire history of videos. I get used to two a month and then.. one.. that’s cool, the videos are much longer and better in a lot of ways.. but.. I got used to the first Friday and it’s just such a tease to know it’s coming and then it doesn’t..
What a tease. This video, I’m sure, is meant to help hold us over and for that I’m greatful.. but really, we need the new vid, what’s going on?!

I just wanted to say you making it a point to talk to everyone who came in and not just sign and move on, dispite there being a huge line shows just how important your fans are to you. I really really enjoyed being there. . .well except for the hour or so in the cold before we could get into the store itself!
To the person saying James should go to NYCC. Most of the autograph guests have to pay to be there. No offence to James but I don’t think he’s the level of guest NYCC would comp for an apperence. But you never know.

I know i shouldnt have to give money for an autograph lol, but honestly ide donate to the site anyways. I mean, it would help the cause. It would be a cool bonus to receive an autograph since I cant make it to the signings. Maybe hell see this lol. I HOPE.
