October 26, 2010 at 3:00 am
Long live Monster Madness!
October 26, 2010 at 3:04 am
October 26, 2010 at 3:05 am
I to be honest this is my favorite TCM movie. Its just so badass!
October 26, 2010 at 3:13 am
Fourth, wow, Part 3?
Damn I love this movie!!! kinda said that MM is slowly comming to an end.
James, I know your not a big fan of the 90′s/00′s horror films so I’m happy to see TCM3 made the list, Im kinda sad that NEAR DARK hasen’t made a MM yet and I’m still holding hope that (2001′s) FRAILTY makes the list it’s an underrated sleeper horror flick if i ever seen one
October 26, 2010 at 3:14 am
awesome review, can’t wait for bad taste
October 26, 2010 at 3:15 am
This one was actually a good movie, Yeah it was not as good as the other two but from the shitfest that James has shown us I have to say this one is the best movie reviewed this year so far, It was really interesting and has a lot of cool moments, the is no gore like James said, but there is a lot of fucked up things going on, a lot of body parts around, the family in this one is better in my opinion than from the second one, I like the characters better, I think James was a little harsh, people should totally give it a chance.
Great Review James, I could listen to you talking about movies for hours, Seriously you have a great voice and a great mind, Keep em coming,
I have watched everything you have done, and always impressed, never disappointed with your videos.
Great way to start the day.
Is getting closer, I really hope we get to see the review of Killer Klowns from outer space.
Also I wish we got a review from trick ‘ treat.
October 26, 2010 at 3:16 am
fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck FUUUUUUCK!!!!! i just remembered: bad taste came out in 1987, this came out in 1990. we ain’t seeing bad taste this year
October 26, 2010 at 3:19 am
Killer Klowns came out in 1988 and we are in the 90′s, sorry no Klowns this MM.
October 26, 2010 at 3:20 am
1988 has now passed, no killer klowns. =(
October 26, 2010 at 3:44 am
I kinda liked this movie, it was fun in it’s own right. Not as good as the first one or as funnily messed up as the second one, but a whole lot better than the 2003 remake.
October 26, 2010 at 3:48 am
Had no idea that Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen) Was in a chainsaw massacre movie, thats just awesome!
October 26, 2010 at 4:41 am
I think the joke about the Speak n Spell was that since the family is a bunch of cannibals, Leatherface thinks that anything human is food.
October 26, 2010 at 5:21 am
October 26, 2010 at 5:33 am
Yay, I’m now the annoying person who gets to say 15th, even though it will not serve or change the world in any particular way. We just like doing it.
October 26, 2010 at 5:50 am
I always liked this one. It was no part 1 by any means but seemed like a decent reboot before the whole reboot phase even started.

October 26, 2010 at 7:21 am
Another Great review James. I think you said a while back that you had trouble coming up with good picks for MM because you hit most of the great stuff already. Your review of Transylvania 6-5000 made me think. Why not a whole month of Horror spoof/comedies? Stuff like Killer Tomato films, Student Bodies from 1980, Repossessed from 1990, Abbot and Costello meet ____, etc. Do a tongue in cheek one.
I would love to hear your comments on these films.
October 26, 2010 at 7:46 am
Wait, Viggo Mortensen?
October 26, 2010 at 7:56 am
hahaha–now I know where you got the song the banjo-playing video game seller is singing in your AVGN video for Texas Chainsaw Massacre the Atari video game. motherrr*fuckerrrr*
October 26, 2010 at 8:37 am
I had dinner the other day with the person whose uncle was the guy who played the original leatherface in the first film…. creepy! BOOM
October 26, 2010 at 9:25 am
Now that you did that movie, you must do Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, just because Matthew Macoughney and Renee Zellweger are in it.
October 26, 2010 at 9:55 am
How do you not mention Viggo Mortensen?
October 26, 2010 at 11:15 am
No shit, why the hell doesn’t Aragorn get his props for this piece of shit movie? I didn’t even know he was in this one. The earliest movie I ever saw him in was Carlito’s Way. WTF, Nerd? You’re slacking. Nah, just kidding, you’re the man. Keep up the good work.
October 26, 2010 at 11:48 am
Weird. I own this on DVD and literally tried to watch it last night, but my DVD player was being a bitch and it kept freezing up.
I’m actually very fond of this movie. I can see what you’re saying about them cutting out some gore, but other than that I think it’s a damn good movie. Light years better that “The Next Generation”.
October 26, 2010 at 12:03 pm
Yeah…Leatherface is’nt that good I’ve got all of them I still watch this one from time to time though I still say that second one for some odd reason is my favorite it reminds me of going to the old Natco Flea market … its some wierd nostalgia for me truck stops and white trash I love the filth…yes!!!
October 26, 2010 at 12:13 pm
Who is this Tempest moron anyway? He’s always the first to post some generic comment and he hasn’t even seen the review yet.
October 26, 2010 at 12:31 pm
Who’s the admin that keeps deleting my comments? Whoever it is can suck on my dark ring and floss with my ass hair. Fuck this site.
October 26, 2010 at 1:04 pm
what about viggo??
October 26, 2010 at 1:06 pm
NO KILLER KLOWNS?
:O FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 26, 2010 at 1:11 pm
Can’t wait for the rest of the 90s.
October 26, 2010 at 1:24 pm
What was with that lightning at the beginning? Were they trying to make Leatherface into a highlander?
October 26, 2010 at 1:37 pm
A good choice, but I thought for sure Tremors would be next on the review list. Sigh, guess I’ll hope for next year.
weird… the video is not paying
October 26, 2010 at 1:45 pm
The actress in that movie is Kate Hodge. She’s hella fine. She was in Rapid Fire, a regular cast member on Silk Stalkings and Renegade. She was great in this movie as well.
October 26, 2010 at 1:51 pm
Hey Dude, the commercials sucks a lot!!!
I wanna watch your reviews, and seeing 10 fucking times, this shit add.
Come on! Your’e out of money or what?
October 26, 2010 at 1:58 pm
Hopefully next year, you’ll review “TCSM: The Next Generation.” Also, does it have anything to do sith Star Trek? =P
0:27- I agree with angel85 at this moment of the film. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE LEATHERFACE!!!
3:28- That’s the song that Redneck sang in your AVGN episode where you reviewed TCSM on Atari.
October 26, 2010 at 2:28 pm
Man these are great. Keep ‘em coming James. That lightening bit was hi-larious. And anyone is cool when they have a gun and shout motherfucker! It’s like ACDC man!
October 26, 2010 at 3:09 pm
Every video I watch, I wanna play Fable 3! (Damn adverts lol)
Amazing video as usual, great work James!
October 26, 2010 at 3:18 pm
“Oh noes, no playable files for (…)” but the fuckin’ ads are playin’.
October 26, 2010 at 3:42 pm
Glee sucks old mans turds..Do we seem like the type of people who wanna watch that scroatmuffin?…great site though
October 26, 2010 at 3:57 pm
A movie with a lot of blood and gore is Piranha 3D. Go on Youtube and type Piranha 3D Spring Break Massacre and you will know what I mean.
October 26, 2010 at 4:10 pm
You know what’s BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLSHIT? The MPAA. Seriously, i’m not joking. MPAA is CONSTANTLY inconsistent and hypocritical, just see the documentary This Movie Is Not Yet Rated. Either way, that would make a great YKWBS episode.
October 26, 2010 at 4:29 pm
James: In the scene where Leatherface keeps typing “F O O D” on the Speak & Spell machine, what he should be spelling, in accordance with the picture, is “F O O L.” (You were close when you said the image was of a clown.)
And Christopher Carrera was right, I think, when he posted that Leatherface’s confusion about the image results from his twisted, cannibal mind: he mistakes humans for food.
October 26, 2010 at 4:35 pm
Speared there were 5 blanks. He is supposed to spell C-L-O-W-N but he is a cannibal so he sees FOOD for all people not in his family.
October 26, 2010 at 4:40 pm
Rattrap: Thanks, you’re right. I guess I am at Leatherface’s level in spelling!
October 26, 2010 at 4:42 pm
Actually James that comment about Saw is untrue, and I am talking about the original. At no point in the film do you ever see the Doctor Cut off his foot. Saw did such a great job that people still think that they saw the foot chopped off. I actually had to see that movie a second time to see that.
October 26, 2010 at 4:48 pm
you should do a review of eight legged freaks. that movie is really campy.
October 26, 2010 at 5:17 pm
I’m surprised he didn’t say anything about Viggo Mortensen
October 26, 2010 at 5:26 pm
Yeah, that movie sucked; and for that matter, so did the second one. You know what sucked more than both of those put together? That’s right, the remake.
October 26, 2010 at 6:31 pm
¡¡¡¡WTF!!!! with aragorn man viggo fucking mortensen itself in that shity pice of turd hahahaa thats cool , james should do a video about great actors in crapy horror films
October 26, 2010 at 6:37 pm
What’s your problem with Saw, James? Saw 1 was a great movie, but like Matrix 1, you just have to ignore the sequels. Saw 1 is not a torture movie.
(Although you can watch all Saw movies as long as you skip right to the scenes with John in every time. Seriously, his semi-philosophic background is the only redeeming quality of any of the sequels.)
October 26, 2010 at 6:45 pm
i cant beleive this is considered obscure I was under the impression that every horror fan has seen this. And that part with the clown i think was a joke about leatherfaces cannibalism but i might be wrong.
October 26, 2010 at 6:52 pm
i remember catching this one right after dawn odf the dead must of been a Motherfucker marathon with that guy haha but yea around 4:00a.m. caught this one one…well skinamax lol ….cinemax but yea i guess i fall into one of those trash diggers james i love George R. zombie and the craziest of crazy horror stuff …i think leatherface would fall into that catagory anyways ima big fan of all your work so keep it up cant want for the next board james and avgn and this october monster madness has been awsome THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT HOURS OF ENTERTAINMENT please check out my youtube channel sometime http://www.youtube.com/user/craig2dope8387?feature=mhum
October 26, 2010 at 7:02 pm
This movie is confusing, slow and hilarious, Entertaining is the word I’m looking for. Great review again James, well done.
The Torrent is up! (no crap, ads, as always)
October 26, 2010 at 7:45 pm
Does it seem at all like Clowns being food referenced to IT?
And BTW, R U gonna review IT? It could easily be on this marathon, although just as easily on a good horror film marathon as well.
October 26, 2010 at 7:57 pm
It won’t load for me
October 26, 2010 at 8:11 pm
I think why leatherface was spelling food for the clown is because hes a cannibal soooo he must have wanted to eat it? i know thats way too much thinking for this shit
October 26, 2010 at 9:13 pm
Awesome Review I’m not really a fan of theis series.. But I’ve seen them all ..
October 26, 2010 at 9:25 pm
October 26, 2010 at 9:30 pm
I love the Alfredo character. I remember a scene where he’s moving some body parts to a swamp, and he looks at this girl’s head and says, “You remind me of my girl down in Tupelo…..well now you’re going down below”. lol
That line always stood out for me.
October 26, 2010 at 9:42 pm
I wish I had the money to buy alot of these films to see now. Great work James. Surprised a really campy movie hasn’t made it on here yet. Ticks with Seth Green, Ami Dolenz, and Carlton from Fresh Prince. That movie I actually thought was funny but still watchable.
October 26, 2010 at 10:05 pm
Most sequels are bad or not as good as the first. This looks horrid and you feel bad for the character Leatherface because his name is being drag through shit.
October 26, 2010 at 10:19 pm
This movie is, to quote James Hetfield. “The thing that should not be” Haha! It realy just shouldn’t be! Actually the review was better than the movie. Kudos to you good sir.
October 26, 2010 at 11:04 pm
Hey James!! Aside from another fantastic set of reviews from your Monster Madness Special, I just wanted to let you know that I saw you on Encore last night on the show that was titiled, “30 Years of Friday the 13th”. Congrats Man!! I know we all have seen your Friday the 13th on NES review a million times, but to see it during such a celebrated horror event on cable TV was so cool!! You have a lot of followers and more then enough people that tell you how great your work is, so for me to just repeat it doesn’t make much sense so I shall say it in my own words….You are great and your ideas rank up there with some of the real greats, originality, the ability to make us remember and above all the happiness you bring to us all.. Ok so I guess I’m not original, but I’m so happy for you!!
October 26, 2010 at 11:09 pm
i love monster madness
October 27, 2010 at 12:15 am
I guess Viggo Mortensen did nothing for the movie, considering it looks like he had only a bit part in that too.
October 27, 2010 at 11:02 am
Texas Chainsaw 3 was ass… good review tho!
October 27, 2010 at 3:21 pm
Lol still aint better than the first
October 27, 2010 at 7:37 pm
Totally boom from start to finish. http://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/index.php?ref=65348
October 28, 2010 at 3:11 pm
Apples coming so damn fast! mother fuckeerrs!
October 28, 2010 at 7:58 pm
i love cinemassacre come Halloween time… But Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 wasn’t R rated, TCM2 was released Unrated, similar to the first Evil Dead and Dawn Of The Dead since it couldn’t get an R Rating.
October 29, 2010 at 1:40 pm
I wish they could make a Mortal Kombat-esque game starring Leatherface, Freddy Krueger, Jason, Michael Myers, etc. where they all go out killing each other.
October 30, 2010 at 12:52 am
I think he is saying people are food, James.
October 30, 2010 at 12:32 pm
Nothing beats the first.
October 31, 2010 at 2:31 am
Thats just wonderfuly funny.
October 31, 2010 at 9:32 pm
lol, is that Viggo Mortensen?
October 31, 2010 at 11:24 pm
You shut up mudderfuker, this is MY PLACE!!! lmao fuckin funny!!
November 5, 2010 at 6:25 pm
LOL you have the crazy old dude singing that song in the chainsaw video game review. Classic
November 9, 2010 at 8:00 am
just another reason why mpaa should be never allowed to watch movies again.
November 11, 2010 at 8:43 pm
Now all james has to do is review THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 4 THE NEXT GENERATION
February 15, 2012 at 9:43 pm
what about the prequel?
February 15, 2012 at 10:45 pm
and then he could review the prequel to the remake.
November 13, 2010 at 1:42 am
long lives the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre:-D
November 23, 2010 at 6:51 pm
I read somewhere that the reason he kept calling the clown food was because he was a cannibal. It sorta makes sense, I guess.
November 28, 2010 at 11:19 pm
“TCM Sells Out” should have been the subtitle.
December 14, 2010 at 1:27 am
Leatherface has killed 24 people counting all 6 films together
December 29, 2010 at 1:48 am
I saw this one a few weeks ago. It’s not nearly as great as the first two movies, but still entertaining for its silliness. Unlike TCM 4, which is a complete waste of film.
August 5, 2011 at 7:05 pm
i’ve read this on wikipedia, it said it was a reboot instead of a sequel, and so it is :/
August 26, 2011 at 1:12 pm
I always thought the trailer was so awesome but the movie SUCKED
September 19, 2011 at 8:40 pm
Clown and food. Ah yes, he’s a cannibal. He sees a human being which, to his primitive mind, is food!
September 20, 2011 at 7:31 pm
Don’t mess with Ken Foree.
September 20, 2011 at 9:20 pm
Now we know what Aragorn left his elf-wife for.
September 22, 2011 at 3:09 pm
was that viggo mortesen????
September 30, 2011 at 9:24 pm
I would love to choke that fuckin’ bitch in the ad before the review…..but love this review…as it comes from the era of horror that I lived in. Please…more 80′s movies. Would love that!
October 11, 2011 at 11:50 am
Actually, it’s a sequel to Part 1, and ignoring Part 2. Notice the brace on his knee? That’s from the chainsaw injury he got when he fell in the first film.
Yes, that IS Viggo Mortensen!
And no, Dawn of the Dead and TCM 2 were both released with an R rating. Dunno where that guy is getting his info from, but there are cuts that are MPAA R-rated, and those were released here in the states.
February 29, 2012 at 3:53 am
Actually TCM was not released with an R rating. The film received an X rating and the filmmakers then decided to release the film as unrated. So TCM 2 is actually unrated.
February 29, 2012 at 3:58 am
Um actually you are totally wrong. Dawn of the Dead originally received an X rating and was actually released with the X rating. TCM 2 recived an X rating when that happened the filmmakers sent the film out unrated. This is fact. Tober Hooper admits it. Look it up on IMDB or Wikipedia. and you will see.
October 22, 2011 at 9:18 am
Ah, so this is where the hillbilly in your AVGN episode came from.
a post-DOTM Transformers movieverse fanfic
March 27, 2012 at 7:03 pm
why do u people keep posting this shit
December 17, 2011 at 4:52 pm
Hey everyone texas chainsaw massacre 3D is coming in 2012 and trey songz is gonna be in it who wants to see him get cut up say i do cause i don’t even know if he’s gonna get cut up i love to see some blood out of the screen.
May 18, 2012 at 1:44 am
Hey James. The reason Leatherface keeps spelling food on the speak and say is because he sees the clown as a person. They eat people. The clown is food. It’s a dumb joke that should have been cut from the film.. Keep up the good work.
August 1, 2012 at 2:50 pm
James, the problem is that 90′s happened and from then censorship has ruined everything, now SOPA PIPA FBI, every year gets worse.
Only film without censored parts are the ones from a well known director and new guys can never take their time to shine and invent if can hurt censor matters.
It’s just that everybody wants to be so polite and politcally correct that the whole deal it’s just bullshit.
December 12, 2012 at 12:24 am
If they wanted to throw away the first movies then why put ” The Saw Is Family ” on the bar of the chainsaw when that lines comes from TCM-2
January 26, 2013 at 7:06 pm
There’s something that i’ve been dying to know. I don’t care who respond to it: What’s the song playing in the background of this review ? It looks awesome ! Please respond quickly.
By the way, awesome review !
February 9, 2013 at 1:52 pm
This was uploaded on my birthday
April 22, 2013 at 7:48 pm
For the record, TCM 2 was released without a rating. It would’ve received an X rating from the MPAA, too. It was ultimately released unrated to avoid the X. As far as TCM III is concerned, New Line Cinema wanted to turn TCM into a franchise along the lines of Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser, and so on. Since New Line was attempting to go mainstream with the series, they probably required that the movie receive an R rating. Unrated movies were advertised less than movies with a rating, and had more limited releases; not an ideal situation for a movie studio looking to create a franchise. So, the movie was butchered to receive an R.
