I remember night of the demons. One of those campy horror movies i used to love, right next to night of the living dead 2 and THE STUFF! No wonder i never heard of this movie, probably was suggested to me and i thought it was the other one…….so confusing…

I saw this one a few years ago for the sake of an essay. Not about this movie solely, I’d probably get conked on the head by the teacher if I wasted my time writing a whole essay about this piece of shit but the essay was about the “Video Nasties,” a list created by the UK’s Director of Public Prosecutions in the 80s that banned films they considered to be too graphic for public consumption. The list came about because of the truly foul Last House on the Left and the unfathomable string of rape/revenge films that followed it.
Regardless, this showed up on my essay and my viewing list (I watched all of them except “Faces of Death.”) when doing research as it is one of the nasties, and one of the ones that is actually still banned in the UK. I’ve seen gorier movies come about in the UK in recent years, so I kind of feel like it isn’t still under a ban because of violence but because no one really gives a damn about this silly flick.

I use Tubestop v1.4 plug-in in firefox browser and it gets rid of the ads. My friend suggested it to me. I havn’t seen an ad on an embeded video in quite a while. The only draw back is you have to manually click the video to start it. It’s hardly a draw-back though considering you don’t have to watch ads.

Night of the demons remake(just to note), did come out on time and it wasn’t bad. If it wasn’t for Edward, or Shannon Elizabeth(smokin hot in NOTD by the way), it wouldn’t have done up to par. The makeup was good, but it just didn’t seem like a remake worth watching multiple times. Remakes are bad but this one wasn’t terrible.

Hey, I can actually answer this one!
It was probably called Night of the Demon because Sasquatch was a name lifted from Indian mythology and applied to modern-day accounts of Bigfoot in an effort to make Bigfoot seem less ‘silly’. You have to love that this is apparently never explained in the movie, though.
