I can’t wait to watch it! But I’m sure it will be another brilliant video. You are the reason I bought a NES, Atari 2600, and Sega Genesis. You guys, keep up the great work!
Man! What is that game yout going to revisit? Is it a game you’ve already reviewed? It doesn’t seem like so, but whatever it is i’m pumped. This is the best website ever created!
This is your best AVGN since 2009. You give a history lesson, you swear, and it’s all funny. The swearing and rage is what makes your show. Never let that die out. I can’t wait for your next AVGN, especially after that cliffhanger.
The revisit is nice but try to keep fresh content in there like ya did with this one . I don’t think I would have liked it as much if there was the fresh Back to the Future game reviews. Oddly enough in spite of this being like 4x as long as normal episodes it has way less anger and shit (I mean shit literally) which I like, with shit jokes a little goes a long way.
Fuck yeah, James, this episode kicked ASS! What a way to start my Labor Day weekend. That Japanese Back To The Future game looked awesome! My favorite parts were when you were playing the game and you were like “My love!”….or something like that. I laughed so hard when you called the number on the Roger Rabbit. Guess who’s going to be calling them tonight?
All I gotta say is… this was FUCKIN’ AWESOME!! Remembering all the good stuff from the past, even hearing that horrid theme from BTTF on NES. Oh god I still have the cartridge and that piece of crap tortured my childhood like no other thing!
I never pass the cafe stage, it was… cool to see the game actually continues. And boy was it a surprise to see that japanese BTTF game, never heard of it, wish I could play it.
Wow… the music from Super Back to the Future II had me CRYING thanks to the Nerd’s expressions as the game footage was being shown. Biff’s face at the end of the tunnel scene… perfect. One of those super bittersweet things like the Godzilla games on Super Famicom or ps2/xbox.
The title cards for the other NES games were also very good. The Roger Rabbit one was extremely good but needs a close up scan since it was so packed.
I forgot about the technodrome fight from the turtles game but remember Shredder had an instant kill attack that would turn you back into a regular turtle. It was hard enough to make it that far let alone beat the game. Definitely a game genie game for that last level.
Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is probably *the* game that had the least footage shown but talked about the most many years after. Since next month is halloween I’d say there’s a STRONG chance that’s the next video.
My Favirouts BTTF games are on the C64 and Amiga. Check them out BTTF 1 is so strange its cool and once you figure out how to play it you can beat the whole thing in 2 min. BTTF 2 is close to the movie and so is 3 but easier than the megadrive (Genesis) version the last level on the train is wicked!
Nicely done! I liked the part where you beat the shit out of the game haha!… Well, another thing, I noticed the wrinkles in the shirt in that episode and I remembered when my mom used to tell me that it had been chowed by a cow!
I’m always thoroughly entertained when watching your videos.
You have a way of putting me in a child like state to an extent, or rather, the state in which you welcome entertainment in a relaxed atmosphere.
I haven’t felt it much since childhood.
Keep doing what you want to do in film, you’re obviously gifted, and I’ll keep lookin’ out for James Rolfe when the credits roll
James! dude! I love this episode! I love your new style! Keep it up man! You’re the greatest!
Imagine this — A calm, rational, reasonable James … HOLY F–KING CHRIST IT MY DREAM F–KING COME TRUE BUDDHA! JESUSE! AND [censored] ! LAOZI AND JOSHERPH SMITH! AND THE MIGHTY SEAMAN!
when you started the back to the future for genesis the screen had a green line through it i thought it just did that in the game but you never mentioned it and stayed through the credit roll has anyone else encountered this problem but any way great vid dr jekel is next i suppose
Really loved this revisit to the Back to the Future games. Just as funny as the old version.
I was actually caught off guard when you pulled out Super Back to the Future II for the Super Famicom. I didn’t expect you to pull it out but I did know of its existence. I mean, I should be aware of its existence. I actually did play it as a kid. Yeah, I actually did find it decent when I played it as a kid. Though I was expecting a joke regarding the line Marty said in the third movie about how, “The best stuff come from Japan.” In this case, it seems like the best/good Back to the Future game came from Japan. Though the best title might be dropped if the Back to the Future adventure game being made ends up being good.
um after about 15 minutes or so the vid goes to hell for me. anyone else have that problem. to b more specific a magnetic looking line appears and takes up half the screen
Ok, with some very nice highlights, if I may say so. (don’t flame me for having an opinion!).
Anyway, thanks for the new video and all your hard work and devotion, alright?
But even if the gods come into existence just to fall, the skies do crumble – I’ll never, never get sick of ghost rider in the sky! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs5Wh9jfyZQ
Heh that was the best avgn Ive seen in awhile man that was a long review almost as long as Action 52 but what other game is he going to go back to review?
Believe it or not, there was a Back to the Future 2 and 3 for the Commodore Amiga, and they were 10x better than the NES version. Kinda makes you wonder.
Lmao!! Loved the insults at the end, this is one of your best episodes. Hopefully your next revisit isn’t the abomination that is Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde but from your reaction its going to be. Actually played that game and passed the first area but didn’t know what to do afterwards
OH MY GOD!!! Thank you for re-reviewing those games! It’s so funny because I thought your classic videos were REALLY good, and to be honest, I never even thought about that stuff you skipped over. It only reminded me how bad those games really were.
And I can’t believe there was a GOOD Back to the Future game! Man!
And……..if you’re going to review what I think you’re going to re-review……………..I’m truly sorry that you will have to go through the abomination again. My thoughts and prayers will be with you AVGN.
awesome video, James…. got my wife and I rolling laughing our asses off. Please dear God tell me your not going to subject yourself to Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde again? You should review something that won’t make you want to shoot yourself, like E.T…… wait a minute, on second thought, nevermind.
I think Dr. Jekyle and Mr. Hyde would ne interesting to see revisited, but I always think the original one as an AVGN classic and even though it didn’t talk about much, it was perfect.
Awesome review, the games before Back to the Future were fast but still fun to watch. It seems like Japan likes to keep some pretty good or awesome game and take a shit on North American gamers whenever they get a fucking chance.
The ending had Dr Jekyll & Mister Hyde written all over it. I played the game, its not the worst I played but dear goodness, what a abomination. Oh, you played Back To The Future… Now that I think of it… Does it mean you had a buffalo take a diarrhea dump in your ear before playing it?
I was so excited to see this, especially after you posted the link to the 25th reunion. There really is nothing like BTTF, it’s so magical, and the movie is just great from start to finish. The NES game was my introduction to LJN when I was younger and it taught me the burden of wasting a birthday wish. Thank you for going back, I could watch hours of that. I don’t know about you, but I want to save my pennies to get the replica BTTF 2 jacket and shoes and go out for Halloween 2015 in the bars and such, with my pockets sticking out, saying, “Where am I?”
Nice video once again nerd, never think you can stop my hunger of more videos from you.
Been waiting 10 hours now for this episode.. no joke, 5:06 AM where I live
Also, Dr.Jekyll and Mr Hyde will be a blast to see next episode, gawd I hate that fucking game!
Cheers nerd
P.S. Let a cow take a shit on that game at the end of next episode
This was my favorite line. Ah, Blast Processing. What a load of bullshit, haha. This video was perfect as I just re-watched a lot of your older videos today. Awesome.
“um after about 15 minutes or so the vid goes to hell for me. anyone else have that problem. to b more specific a magnetic looking line appears and takes up half the screen”
Same thing happened to me, right when Back to the Future 3 for the genesis came on the screen went to hell.
Still, the rant at the end was gold. What a travesty that game was never released stateside, it looked pretty good. LJN probably had exclusive North American rights on the Nintendo and SNES or something. LJN was a fucking plague on the early video game industry.
I think sometimes the best way to go forward is by first going back. To go back to those old reviews and tie up loose ends feels like justice is done. It’s like when I try to re-visit old places from my childhood. I would stand or sit on the spot an event in my life took place, and reflect on what happened, and how it made me who I am today.
This review is like a troubled spirit that is finally being put to rest. Hopefully for next time, we will REALLY get to see whether those weapons don’t do anything or not.
The next just has to be Dr. Jekyll and My. Hyde. It only makes sense, especially since the next video comes out in October, and that means that it has to be a Halloween video (if it goes with the trend of previous years). I just hope the Nerd doesn’t wait until October 31st to release the video…because that would be the shits.
Awesome episode. Mike, I am in awe with your title cards. The new Roger Rabbit one is amazing. I was hoping you would bring up Back to the Future 3 on Sega. I remember renting that horrible game and ruining a weekend on that damn first level.
And since everyone is guessing on the next episode and saying Dr.Jekyll and Mr Hyde Im gonna say it’ll be Friday the 13th. Jason was wearing purple and that review was brought up in this episode. Just a thought.
James you should get a goddamn Emmy for this episode. It’s a masterpiece. Great editing, great pacing. And Kudos to Motherfucker Mike for his AWESOME artwork on the titlecards for each game. Congrats James.
I think the first four Halloween reviews were masterpieces, they should be left alone. Just think about what the review for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was. All it was, was James complaining about how bad he thought it was, and not wanting to play it. Then he decided to pop it in and show us the first few seconds of the game. He dies once, and then shuts it off and proceeds to try and get rid of the memory of the game by soaking his brain in Alcohol. I am sure there is so much more to why that game is so bad, and trust me there is. I actually went out and found it, and there are a lot more layers of shit buried under the shit covered surface of this game.
I hope it’s not that Cheetamen game. You’ve already done about as much as you could with that one. My other guesses would be either Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, or the Silver Surfer.
Anyways, really great video, James. Yeah, there were some times where I wanted to see a bit more of these games without going through the trouble of playing it myself. You play it, so we don’t have to… why does that sound familiar? \:-|
Ha ha you made fun of George Lucas. Great video, it was awesome to see the rest of the levels of the games that you could beat. Also, have you ever consider making a special episode about the Japanese games we never saw over here? There might be some goodies. ^^
Awesome episode, man! I have a feeling that October’s episode is going to involve the a certain doctor.
Oh, and since you’ve used both the original Famicom and the Super Famicom in your reviews, have you ever thought about doing an episode which compares the Japanese and American versions of video games (oh, and have you found the RAM cartridge for the Famicom Disk System yet)?
If it weren’t for your video James, I would’ve remained oblivious as to the existence of a good BTTF game! I just bought one of very few copies off of Ebay. Like you, I’m a HUGE BTTF fan! Hell, I could watch the entire trilogy non-stop and never tire of them (and I have!). Thanks man!
The Nerd already re-reviewed Simon’s Quest in his 2009 Castlevania Part 2 review. The only logical answer is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Besides, He did the last Halloween special on Castlevania. I’m putting my foot down…It is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde!
I’m still waiting on the Atari E.T. review, he could unload on that pile! The day that comes will be an epic day indeed!
I got goosebumps when I saw the good version of BTTF….I got the first NES version as a birthday present. I wondered for a while if my parents hated me or something cuz that game blows so much old man weener. I pretty much suck at vid games anyway, so it’s nice to see you suffering through the horrid bullshit of LJN and other game publishers who ruined several of my weekend rentals back in the 80′s and 90′s. Love the movie and game reviews on this site even if I haven’t seen or played them so keep ‘em coming, but take time to enjoy enjoy the good shit James!
Superb video, I quite like the idea of you looking back on your older videos. And using an older version of the theme song was a nice touch. Can’t wait for your next episode, it should be really cool if it’s what I’m thinking (and apparently everyone else is thinking the same thing).
The “Nerd shot first” reference was awesome. Don’t know if everyone will get it (mostly the younger audience), but I laughed at it.
About Top Gun… I always wondered why you had trouble landing, since, the first time I played iy (bought it last year), I got it on the first try, without even paying attention to the numbers (I didn’t actually see them). But seeing it cleared up is great.
I can’t be the only one who finds that Jessica Rabbit’s phone number leading to a sex hotline is incredibly fitting… right? RIGHT?
Love the green TMNT cartridge. Seems like the same type of cart as Battle Kid… hmmm.
Loved the BTTF part as a whole. Didn’t expect BTTF 2&3 game to be that bad because of what you originally showed, but now that you properly described it, holy shit… I’m happy I didn’t buy THAT one (at least the first one is… sort of okay-ish… well, it was more self-explanatory at least). Would have loved to see the other levels on the genesis game though (but I don’t blame you if it was just too hard).
And I just KNEW you’d be showing the Super Famicom game, though I would have loved to see you elaborate a bit more on it… But at least the gameplay you showed for it did show that it was a really good game that followed the movie well.
Very well done video. Your work has been lacking that same charm of your older videos, but that is rectified here. I always did find it disappointing how you quit early on your old videos and loved it when you revisited Simon’s Quest. Nice to see the finished versions of those reviews. =D
James,
This is easily the best episode you have produced to date. The fact being that the writing is a lot smoother, wittier, clever, and the dialogue is substantially less awkward compared to your earlier videos. Your editing has reached a mastery as well, the timing of jokes is spot-on to say the least and the effects look a lot cleaner (Even you make a joke about this.)
The 2010 season is proving to be the best one and I’m happy to be a fan, always up for an opportunity to help.
Awesome review, I AM DYING TO SEE DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE!!!
But James my great entertainer, as soon as you review the Genesis BTTF 3, the Green Gaming Glitch Goblin attacks. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems that in a certain part of the video (I rewound,) it starts glitching. I’ll haft to watch this another time. I have no idea what happened.
And The Other Thing – I see what you’re doing by mocking George Lucas (who is not a Jew.) But if you were to take the original episodes and, maybe not even better effects, but make them look crisper and cleaner, I don’t think it would be too bad. Seeing the “new” effects you did for those episodes, I’d actually like to see them, since they don’t destroy the original effects, and only enhance ‘em.
And The Jason skit, now that was funny. Especially because Jason didn’t even have a gun. Han shot first, we all know that for a sure sign.
I Was Hoping For October The Splatterhouse Series. That Would Be Cool. To Salute To The New Splatterhouse Game That’s Coming Up This Year For The Xbox360 & PS3 In October.
idk why this is, but I cannot pause the video. I had to do something and come back to watch… instead I had to close everything and then start all over again… Can this be fixed? it’s a tad inconvenient.. FANTASTIC re-review though! ^^
Awesome video, definitely my favorite from 2010 so far. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.. I can’t wait. I have never seen any footage from the game aside from your ‘review’ of it, I eagerly await its revisit.
I can’t seem to view the last 5 minutes of the video. Is there a way I can view these videos in a way that it wount make a Green Glitchy Line across the video? Same thing happend in the Action 52 Vid. I mean I want to be able to see the “Shitty Games” as they really are, not with more shittyness due to a Vid Playback problem.
Wow, James, it’s a good thing you did decide to make these monthly instead of bi-weekly. The quality of the episodes now is significantly improved. They’re longer, more rich with content, and the subjects of the reviews themselves are worth waiting a month for. And I like how you gave us a cliff hanger on this one, even though it’s pretty obvious what the next game is (Jekyl and Hyde).
Keep up the good work, these reviews are fantastic! Definitely worth the wait!
oh, and I never noticed that the display actually told you the exact altitude and speed needed to land! I always thought it was part of the static on-board display but NO! So thanks for that James.

James, dude!
This is by far the best episode of the year, if not, EVER! I truly mean that as well.
It took all of the maturity you’ve garnered over the 90 plus episodes, and added the charm of the “Raging Nerd” along side.
Comedic gold.
I could actually FEEL your rage and pain at certain moments. It was a masterpiece in my opinion. Well done, sir, Well done..
Thanks so much for making such high quality, amazingly funny shit. I really look forward to it.
September 3, 2010 at 9:34 pm
Nice title cards Mike! And nice video James!

September 3, 2010 at 9:55 pm
mmm… buen video no el mejor de todos pero bueno echale ganas james
September 3, 2010 at 9:55 pm
Awesome review, the games before Back to the Future were fast but still fun to watch. It seems like Japan likes to keep some pretty good or awesome game and take a shit on North American gamers whenever they get a fucking chance.
The ending had Dr Jekyll & Mister Hyde written all over it. I played the game, its not the worst I played but dear goodness, what a abomination. Oh, you played Back To The Future… Now that I think of it… Does it mean you had a buffalo take a diarrhea dump in your ear before playing it?
September 3, 2010 at 9:57 pm
dr jekkle and mr hyde of batman the prple suit makes me think its joker
September 3, 2010 at 9:59 pm
i bet he’s going to do a doctor Jackel mister hyde review like he did on his 2nd game review which btw WAS A PIECE OF SHIT
September 3, 2010 at 10:00 pm
haha he Finally hit the bottom of barrel
September 3, 2010 at 10:03 pm
I was so excited to see this, especially after you posted the link to the 25th reunion. There really is nothing like BTTF, it’s so magical, and the movie is just great from start to finish. The NES game was my introduction to LJN when I was younger and it taught me the burden of wasting a birthday wish. Thank you for going back, I could watch hours of that. I don’t know about you, but I want to save my pennies to get the replica BTTF 2 jacket and shoes and go out for Halloween 2015 in the bars and such, with my pockets sticking out, saying, “Where am I?”
September 3, 2010 at 10:07 pm
Nice video once again nerd, never think you can stop my hunger of more videos from you.
Been waiting 10 hours now for this episode.. no joke, 5:06 AM where I live
Also, Dr.Jekyll and Mr Hyde will be a blast to see next episode, gawd I hate that fucking game!
Cheers nerd
P.S. Let a cow take a shit on that game at the end of next episode
September 3, 2010 at 10:15 pm
I’M ACTUALLY GOING TO JAPAN IN 2 MORE WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 3, 2010 at 10:15 pm
“Fucking processing! Stop being so BLAST!”
This was my favorite line. Ah, Blast Processing. What a load of bullshit, haha. This video was perfect as I just re-watched a lot of your older videos today. Awesome.
September 3, 2010 at 10:15 pm
I think it should be action 52 that he /you want to revisit. That’s the one the should be so bad that you dont want to think about it
September 3, 2010 at 10:16 pm
Nice job, it was good to see more about the older game reviews!
Check this shit out!

September 3, 2010 at 10:25 pm
I think sometimes the best way to go forward is by first going back. To go back to those old reviews and tie up loose ends feels like justice is done. It’s like when I try to re-visit old places from my childhood. I would stand or sit on the spot an event in my life took place, and reflect on what happened, and how it made me who I am today.
This review is like a troubled spirit that is finally being put to rest. Hopefully for next time, we will REALLY get to see whether those weapons don’t do anything or not.
September 3, 2010 at 10:25 pm
I knew you would call the number. It’s funny what the number is now.
September 3, 2010 at 10:27 pm
Power of Love is in the game, just sped up so it’s nearly unrecognizable.

Long live the nerd.
September 3, 2010 at 10:32 pm
The next just has to be Dr. Jekyll and My. Hyde. It only makes sense, especially since the next video comes out in October, and that means that it has to be a Halloween video (if it goes with the trend of previous years). I just hope the Nerd doesn’t wait until October 31st to release the video…because that would be the shits.
September 3, 2010 at 10:36 pm
The japaneese are awesome.
September 3, 2010 at 10:37 pm
Awesome episode. Mike, I am in awe with your title cards. The new Roger Rabbit one is amazing. I was hoping you would bring up Back to the Future 3 on Sega. I remember renting that horrible game and ruining a weekend on that damn first level.
And since everyone is guessing on the next episode and saying Dr.Jekyll and Mr Hyde Im gonna say it’ll be Friday the 13th. Jason was wearing purple and that review was brought up in this episode. Just a thought.
September 3, 2010 at 10:38 pm
James you should get a goddamn Emmy for this episode. It’s a masterpiece. Great editing, great pacing. And Kudos to Motherfucker Mike for his AWESOME artwork on the titlecards for each game. Congrats James.
September 3, 2010 at 10:43 pm
:O …..yessss
September 3, 2010 at 10:46 pm
September 3, 2010 at 10:49 pm
I hope it’s not that Cheetamen game. You’ve already done about as much as you could with that one. My other guesses would be either Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, or the Silver Surfer.
September 3, 2010 at 10:54 pm
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?
Anyways, really great video, James. Yeah, there were some times where I wanted to see a bit more of these games without going through the trouble of playing it myself. You play it, so we don’t have to… why does that sound familiar? \:-|
September 3, 2010 at 10:55 pm
it sounds like Strider to me, at least if that ending music is any hint
September 3, 2010 at 10:56 pm
everyone stop asking him about he personal life, like his wife, that is his fucking business, not you god damn fucking business!
September 3, 2010 at 10:59 pm
You’re going to re-visit Dr.jekell & Mr.Hyde
September 3, 2010 at 11:01 pm
Its gonna be Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, anyways great review as always.
September 3, 2010 at 11:01 pm
it’s Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde no doubt purple suit that cape tie hanging from his neck
September 3, 2010 at 11:04 pm
Ha ha you made fun of George Lucas. Great video, it was awesome to see the rest of the levels of the games that you could beat. Also, have you ever consider making a special episode about the Japanese games we never saw over here? There might be some goodies. ^^
September 3, 2010 at 11:05 pm
Awesome episode, man! I have a feeling that October’s episode is going to involve the a certain doctor.
Oh, and since you’ve used both the original Famicom and the Super Famicom in your reviews, have you ever thought about doing an episode which compares the Japanese and American versions of video games (oh, and have you found the RAM cartridge for the Famicom Disk System yet)?
September 3, 2010 at 11:06 pm
Everyone is guessing Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde. He hates Simon’s Quest just as much…
September 3, 2010 at 11:07 pm
AVGN! I’m your number 1 fan !!!!
love your videos
September 3, 2010 at 11:12 pm
If it weren’t for your video James, I would’ve remained oblivious as to the existence of a good BTTF game! I just bought one of very few copies off of Ebay. Like you, I’m a HUGE BTTF fan! Hell, I could watch the entire trilogy non-stop and never tire of them (and I have!). Thanks man!
September 3, 2010 at 11:13 pm
88MPH….more like 88 FPM (Fucks Per Minute)! And this episode had a lot of them.
Epic revisit James!
-FLUX
September 3, 2010 at 11:15 pm
Did that green colored TMNT’s cart really exist or was it just made for the episode? It’s awesome!
September 3, 2010 at 11:19 pm
@Hajalak1
September 3, 2010 at 11:20 pm
Oh my god. what a great episode. best in a long time. this one was a real tribute to the old school AVGN fans.
September 3, 2010 at 11:25 pm
I got goosebumps when I saw the good version of BTTF….I got the first NES version as a birthday present. I wondered for a while if my parents hated me or something cuz that game blows so much old man weener. I pretty much suck at vid games anyway, so it’s nice to see you suffering through the horrid bullshit of LJN and other game publishers who ruined several of my weekend rentals back in the 80′s and 90′s. Love the movie and game reviews on this site even if I haven’t seen or played them so keep ‘em coming, but take time to enjoy enjoy the good shit James!
September 3, 2010 at 11:32 pm
Great Episode man!
First Japanese exclusive Godzillas now Japanese Exclusive Back to the future!?
Madness! All games should be released in EVERY region!
September 3, 2010 at 11:55 pm
its dr. jekyll and mr. hyde isnt it
September 3, 2010 at 11:55 pm
AHHH it’s gonna be Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde!!! CAN’T WAIT!
September 3, 2010 at 11:56 pm
Awesome episode, James! The rage attack was hilarious, and it reminded me of the good ol’ episodes.
And OF COURSE the next episode is gonna be Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! Can’t fucking wait!
September 3, 2010 at 11:57 pm
September 4, 2010 at 12:08 am
Very well done video. Your work has been lacking that same charm of your older videos, but that is rectified here. I always did find it disappointing how you quit early on your old videos and loved it when you revisited Simon’s Quest. Nice to see the finished versions of those reviews. =D
September 4, 2010 at 12:10 am
JAMES SHOT FIRST
September 4, 2010 at 12:10 am
That was a great episode. I loved the ending! This might be one of my favorite ones now. Great job!
September 4, 2010 at 12:26 am
James,
This is easily the best episode you have produced to date.
Keep up the good work,
MyKreal
September 4, 2010 at 12:26 am
fuck that landing sequence. you had it right the first time. ASS
September 4, 2010 at 12:29 am
Im pretty sure its dr jekyll and mr hyde…
September 4, 2010 at 12:30 am
I KNOW WHAT he is going to revisit that he said he hates SOOOOOOOO much………………………..Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde! MAN that games just sucks!
September 4, 2010 at 12:34 am
Awesome review, I AM DYING TO SEE DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE!!!
But James my great entertainer, as soon as you review the Genesis BTTF 3, the Green Gaming Glitch Goblin attacks. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems that in a certain part of the video (I rewound,) it starts glitching. I’ll haft to watch this another time. I have no idea what happened.
September 4, 2010 at 12:36 am
Great stuff as usual James! Loved the Star Wars Special Edition references at the beginning lmfao.
September 4, 2010 at 12:37 am
GROOVY
But… hey wait a minute… looks like water in that beer bottle… whats up with that?
September 4, 2010 at 12:51 am
And The Other Thing – I see what you’re doing by mocking George Lucas (who is not a Jew.) But if you were to take the original episodes and, maybe not even better effects, but make them look crisper and cleaner, I don’t think it would be too bad. Seeing the “new” effects you did for those episodes, I’d actually like to see them, since they don’t destroy the original effects, and only enhance ‘em.
And The Jason skit, now that was funny. Especially because Jason didn’t even have a gun. Han shot first, we all know that for a sure sign.
September 4, 2010 at 1:34 am
I Was Hoping For October The Splatterhouse Series. That Would Be Cool. To Salute To The New Splatterhouse Game That’s Coming Up This Year For The Xbox360 & PS3 In October.
September 4, 2010 at 1:55 am
idk why this is, but I cannot pause the video. I had to do something and come back to watch… instead I had to close everything and then start all over again… Can this be fixed? it’s a tad inconvenient.. FANTASTIC re-review though! ^^
September 4, 2010 at 1:57 am
Awesome video, definitely my favorite from 2010 so far. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.. I can’t wait. I have never seen any footage from the game aside from your ‘review’ of it, I eagerly await its revisit.
September 4, 2010 at 1:57 am
I can’t seem to view the last 5 minutes of the video. Is there a way I can view these videos in a way that it wount make a Green Glitchy Line across the video? Same thing happend in the Action 52 Vid. I mean I want to be able to see the “Shitty Games” as they really are, not with more shittyness due to a Vid Playback problem.
September 4, 2010 at 2:07 am
Wow, James, it’s a good thing you did decide to make these monthly instead of bi-weekly. The quality of the episodes now is significantly improved. They’re longer, more rich with content, and the subjects of the reviews themselves are worth waiting a month for. And I like how you gave us a cliff hanger on this one, even though it’s pretty obvious what the next game is (Jekyl and Hyde).
Keep up the good work, these reviews are fantastic! Definitely worth the wait!
September 4, 2010 at 2:18 am
OMG, the Top Gun bit is friggin’ hilarious!!!
September 4, 2010 at 2:22 am
Cool James! But goddamn can u do more then 1 video at month???I cant wait so much!
September 4, 2010 at 2:22 am
oh, and I never noticed that the display actually told you the exact altitude and speed needed to land! I always thought it was part of the static on-board display but NO! So thanks for that James.
September 4, 2010 at 2:23 am
This video was hilarious. I can’t wait for the next one.
September 4, 2010 at 2:34 am
You shoulda mentioned that Telltale is making a new Back to the Future game…& Jurrasic Park too.
September 4, 2010 at 2:36 am
Definitely one of your best episodes yet!
September 4, 2010 at 2:37 am
pure awesomeness!
