This time we look at a new trivia book entitled “The Amazing Colossal Book of Horror Trivia”. The categories include, Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Nosferatu, Dracula (1931), Horror of Dracula, From Dusk Till Dawn, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein and Ghostbusters. That’s it for Trivia Tuesday. Maybe we’ll do more another time.

I had to search this trivia thing because I didn't notice at the time.

it's well made and interesting but i find the videos more entertaining because of your expressions, your faces. It's more similiar at having fun with friends. Moreover, the crazy godzilla-geek people in the pub were amazing :)

I love your guys' trivia, but not the audio-only vids - interesting, but (like you said in the video) a bit boring.

I liked this ALOT. You guys should do podcasts informing people about game/film trivia! Maybe not in a quiz form, but rather discussion?

This works well. Found myself shouting out answers.

I hate these Dam# commercials at the beginning of each and every Cinemassacre video!

I like to listen to it! But I like the ones where you film it i little more, cus' it's fun to look at your face emotions ect. :)

Fuck!! Abbot and Costello Meets every creature!!!

I really liked this because honestly I love watching your videos, but I do so at work and I have to wait until I have nothing else to do. When it is just an audio track I can do work and listen to it (my job takes less concentration than you'd think), and I really like that. Thanks James and Matt.

Honestly, I don't really know what it is about these but I enjoy them. It does seem a bit silly from an objective standpoint. "Hey, lets sit around for 40 mins and listen to a guy answer movie trivia!: But it is interesting for some reason. So yeah, keep making these, with one caveat. I, like the others, love the videos you make. Obviously the video trivia ones were more interesting than just this audio. But that aside, we do all love your AVGN, movie reviews, and whatever else you put out. If you like doing these and are going to just sit around and do it anyway, you may as well keep recording and posting them. But I think we hope that it doesn't detract from your other projects :-)

I am not sure if you care, or not but the netflix version (the streaming one) has Orlock instead of Dracula in the titles.
James, I find these entertaining enough to listen to so keep updating your site. I can't freaking wait for monster madness 2010!!!

Trivia without actual video footage is like... really pointless.
That's like doing exams at home like: Yea, I'm not gonna cheat you know.

Even though you don't cheat of course, it's kind of pointless as far as I'm concerned.

Sometimes I feel like an isolated farm house.

I really dig these trivia videos, but I would have preferred this one with video. I liked them in the bar setting, but even in an at home environment would be fine, because it reminds me of shit me and my own buddies have done.

It was interestin, but next time try to do visual.

If it only audio make it as a downloadable audio podcast that would be great!

xD The moment the Ghostbuster's questions came up, I became a wiz.

what are you wearing? lol.

I enjoyed hearing that I am not the only person who knows that much about Abbott and Costello. This is entertaining if you fully know what your talking about. I think your pretty funny, and enjoy your comedy features more. You Know Whats Bullshit, the fact that your not doing You Know Whats Bullshit anymore, i thought those were pretty damn funny. Oh, Monster Madness reviews kick a little arse too! If you wanna see a STRANGE movie, "The Yin And The Yang Of Mr. Go", with Burgess Meredith and Jeff Bridges who plays a male prostitute when he was in his early twenties or something is incredibly strange.

so are the old zombie movies about the voodo zombies worth watching

One small thought James, you mention the possibility of trying to play along. Well, this is hosted exclusively on your website, ever think about talking to that guy who helped set up your server and maybe making a multiple choice quiz that you can take before the video, which then calculates your total score and compares it to your score (maybe a percentage?) at the end? Might be fun.

In jaws dang it i keep forgetting to check what i wrote before i post these comments!

I got a question to ask u james. Who was the original actor who was supposed to play quinn was it either A.Godzilla
B.Kane Hodder
C.Sterling Hayden

I enjoyed this a lot, but James, I gotta say I'm a little disappointed in you for the questions you got wrong on Dawn of the Dead.

Hey Mike, don't mean to bash you or anything but, in the movie Sicko there IS a montage where you see the slaves from white zombie pushing a wheel. Just in case you wanted to know. Sorry.

When you first started doing these trivia video I thought they were good and interesting. Now I am starting to grow tired of them. Please go back to reviewing some games, or more Board game James videos to add a little mix up from these trivia videos.

The trivia videos are pretty entertaining. I do prefer the live video format, though. It adds a little something to see you straining to think about the answers that are on the tip of your tongue.

In Ghostbusters, the lions at the New York Public Library do come to life, though they don't fly away. There are a couple of shots of them kind of milling around.

Although I do enjoy the trivias I really prefer the video format as opposed to just audio. It's interesting to see the interactions of James and Mike as he's being questioned. It makes it much more entertaining.

hey, James, a request from a crazy cat lady in the making: what's the equipment-eating little monster's name, and can we see a picture? maybe let him wear your glasses for the shot? :D

It's funny how they get more and more tired towards the end. Must've been late.

You guys should definately do more trivia

sick trivia, i would love to see you do sci-fi tivia

i hope you come finland someday james with mike. i like to talk with you. about every thing and if thats is okey we go baar and drink little bit :D keep out the good work! I agree people of here thats it is better look you guys in video doing funny stuff at the front of the cam.

I HAVE THAT BOOK!!! i got it many years ago, i love these trivia videos but i agree that you should keep it as video and not audio. Keep up the good work and if your interested in haunted house reviews i co-own a website that does reviews and various other spooky stuff, check it ouw www.spookyreview.com

I should add, I really do like when James goes off on a tangent about extra facts about the movies, like with Chaney and the vodka in the mummy trivia. It might make the video longer, but when he gets excited about it, it makes the video even more interesting and enjoyable. Also, random facts are fun.

I really like this series of trivia videos. It's funny to see how much James knows about these old movies and it's fun to learn new things about all these old films. But I do highly prefer it with video for some reason. I have to agree that the bar setting is cool, but that the background noise makes it difficult to hear you sometimes. Still, the video ones were better, but this is still nice.

I like audio-only stuff, including this and James reading that Mega-Man book.

I think this would work better as a podcast, if you're gonna do just audio, make it just audio. But to be honest I think part of what I really enjoyed about the other trivia vids was watching your reactions, and there were a couple of other people who you played off of and who played off of you making some jokes and such.

I love these videos. I the video ones over just audio, but either way'll do. Just keep on making'em.

i really enjoy theses videos, well i enjoy all you videos blokes, keep up the awesome work

lol and a wtf at that "flying away statues" question for ghostbusters

I am in agreeance with others on these comments, why I love hearing you guys do this Trivia stuff, and yes it's slowly becoming my favorite thing on Cinemassacre, I would still love to see Video with the Audio, even if your just at James or Mikes house or something.

Great video once again Mike and James.

Thank you James and Mike, I enjoyed watching these trivia videos and would look forward to more in the future if you choose to do so.

They could have come up with so many better trivia questions for Ghostbusters. Like what did the Mayor call the Priest in his office when the Ghostbusters were being questioned about the cities problems.

Oh well not every Trivia book will be gold. Thanks for doing some Dracula Trivia. Even with that painfully fumbled movie you still know Way too much about it to be healthy.

About the lack of Video. It was allot less fun. I can honestly say I missed seeing the facial expressions to go with the answers. Whats strange though is there are some parts of this where Mike was almost as hard to hear as he was in the noisy restaurant. Does recording equipment just hate him? Or does he refuse to speak louder than it takes to talk to what he's looking at.
Say he's looking at the book page he gets quieter as if he only has to talk loud enough for someone as far away as the page to hear him.

It was odd.

Since it's now September 1st the submissions on Monster Madness should be closed. Looking forward to what comes from all the submissions.

Not sure if I will be around to check out new content on the 2nd since that's my birthday and all but still enjoying and looking forward to new things added to the site.

I'd love to see more of these whether video or audio.

I think that audio is better, because in the videos there is a lot of noise in the place you are so sometimes I don't really hear what you're saying. I think that trivia the kind of stuff that doesn't need video footage to be fun

I prefer it when you guys do a video, but the audio is still good. There's something about seeing you guys that makes it a bit more authentic to the viewer, as if we're hanging out with you guys doing the trivia as well. Can't wait for CINEMASSACRE's MONSTER MAAADNESSSS lmao.

The video, literally, could not be more unnecessary. I didn't watch a single one of them and just listened. It was awesome, but anybody telling you to make sure it has video: don't listen. I imagine it prolongs the time to make the videos. Don't bother. Just audio it.

I liked watching the trivia videos. This audio only one seems dumbed down and I'm not actually interested in it.
