Trivia Tuesday! Who can resist Godzilla trivia?
why won't the video play?
This entire Christmas break, I've been totally hooked to this site. I have a brand new PS3 in my living room, and have barely touched it.
What I've discovered is,,, I am a giant nerd. I can answer almost all of these questions.
The cool part is,,, There's other nerds, just like me out there. I love it!
One of my favorite monster madness series was your godzillathon. I've watched the whole thing probably 5 times now, and because of how well you reviewed all those godzilla movies, I actually was able to answer quite a few of those questions WITHOUT having seen the movie. But holy shit, you are a fucking master of movie trivia!
As a resident of Florida, I would totally go for a box set of the Weather Chanel in Florida
August 1992 should be interesting
XD
yeah, because Canada isn't in America, is it? it's got it's own continent as a Christmas present from the Crown a few years back.
I still have no idea what a Sloppy Joe is...
If you want unpredictable weather you should go to Scotland... it's never the same... 4 seasons in one day
I got about half of the Godzilla (not Toho) questions without seeing the movies. And I'm pretty sure you helped.
I looked it up and he was right about Godzilla Raids again being released in 1955, not '56. Fucking amazing.
What was the answer he gave instead? "Mysterious"? Did I hear that right? I can't find any movie with that title. Not from '56 and not by Toho.
I was able to answer all of those questions. Not sure if I should be proud of that. But ya' gotta love TOHO.
Well I kept score....25? O.o
Well 20 if you minus 3 I guessed right & that one repeated question. XD
I feel smart......err.....Nerdy.
Well I sure am a Godzilla/Toho/Tokusatsu fan.
I'm not sure if I should be proud of myself or not, I knew about 90% of the Godzilla-related questions. I got every growl right on the application too, except for Hedorah and Godzilla Jr.
Sadly I have yet to see any Gamera films, despite my love for Japanese monster movies.
It's not fair, Gamera even wasn't TOHO's title.
Okay, Frankenstein also wasn't : )
Nice pastime, guys. I envy you.
"And Mike, you fucktard, it is pronounced “Ge-door-ah” spelled Ghidorah."
True, but remember, the original American version of the film Ghidora first appears in was translated and voiced-over as "Ghidrah (Gee-dra), The Three-Headed Monster".
I used to have the film on VHS. Here's one of the original covers:

Due to seeing this version so many times as a kid, the name "Ghidrah" has stuck much moreso than "Ghidorah" for me. Maybe Mike has the same issue going on.
Yeah, Godzilla Raids Again (Godzilla's Counterattack) was released in 1955, a year after Gojira.
And Mike, you fucktard, it is pronounced "Ge-door-ah" spelled Ghidorah. Oh, and he's a king. He's King Ghidorah.
Can someone post a message on my profile of a link to the all the Trivia videos? Please do so. I said please, you fuckbag. :-)
Looked on Wiki and found out that "The Weather Channel" officially launched on May 2, 1982 which happens to be the day I was born!!! Hahaha!!!
Florida? Heh, try putting tornado alley's weather channel on blu ray. In South Dakota you can experience all four seasons in a single week.
Love it at 18:10 when Mike plays the roar that is clearly King Kong from KK vs Godzilla and James answers "King Caesar", to which Mike replies "yea". Hilarious!
Hi James, just watching your Godzilla Trivia now. Fun times.
I'm a horror movie enthusiast but my knowledge compared to yours is like a gnat's to Aristotle's but anyways, I could be your Tokyo anchorman. Got
buddies with sweet film equipment and time. Also able to do music/sound for vids.
British Musician/Actor looking for new ways to put off my own projects.

I've been soo busy lately that I missed the last two, warewolf and this one, but I'll try to see more of these, I got a lot of these right, I am a big Godzilla Fan, so is my mom. I tried collecting all of the godzilla movies once but then I moved and lost a lot of them, I may try again soon, seeing how they are starting to re release them on Blu-ray.
I had a cool idea for a video you could do since your a gamer how about a top "Blank" list of the best video game "Quotes" or memorable speeches from games you have played that would be AWESAUME!!!!!
Well at least IN THIS ONE category I know almost as much as James, since I have been a HUGE Godzilla fan since I was two, of course some of those movies I haven't seen like The Green Slime? (Never heard of it) or The Mysterians, but I knew the answer to pretty much every Godzilla question right off the bat.
For one the question about Mr. Sulu's actor I knew right away that it was Godzilla Raids Again, and Rodan, and when they asked the question about "Where does Mothra live" I knew right away it was Infant island.
But there were some things I noticed that were wrong in the book that James didn't seem to notice the most obvious was "How was Godzilla killed in Godzilla Raids Again?" well yeah they covered Godzilla in Ice, but it didn't kill him, he was just trapped in it, and then he was breaking out of it at the start of King Kong vs Godzilla.
As above commentator wrote, the co-star were awesome
This trivia were a bit noisy with the bg sounds, but good anyway
Tho next time time to sit in a non-crowded area or use microphone on shirt directed to your mouths, either way works fine.
James performance were impressive, didnt know that he knew so much about giant monsters.
Although James never stop to surprise us
Cheers and have a nice day
u should shut those people up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! man i couldnt hear anything!! fuck!!!!!! so fucking anoying
Hello!…
An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers…
