we have to face it, the simpsons have not held up with the times. with shows like family guy, south park, and aqua teen, the simpsons are lagging behind in pop culture, and most importantly, what we see as funny these days.

Pffft! At least The Simpsons isn’t an out of control playground to plug products and meet political goals like Family Guy is. I agree that The Simpsons lost some edge but for the most part it is still pretty witty. I don’t care if the cast of Family Guy sings and dances I am not going to support the legalization of K2 weed (look it up and JWH-018 if you would like to see what they are pushing to be legalized. ) to the populace. It doesn’t matter if a joke is inserted (like Stewie drinking TAB Cola with a smile, which is lame if you take into account The Simpsons created their own unique beer called Duff, even a mascot.) it’s still peddling a real corporations product.

Stay the fuck out of my cartoons corporate America, it’s enough I have to work for you assholes.

Ah, pardon that last part, I got caught up in the argument on this video and forgot that I’d had it clicked up so I could go right to Day 3, when I was actually watching Day 2 Part 2. That’s where those last 2 comments belong.

@Ogre: Johan said that the episode with Brian and Stewie in the bank vault wasn’t supposed to be that funny, not the whole show. Though sometimes in the newer episodes it may feel like they’re not trying to be funny anymore, just offensive, it still helps to read the entire post before you bitch someone out.
