That was great. Man people fell for the push! I just finished watching M by Fritz Lang. Incredible movie. I recommend going to a public library, free movies, books, and WhatNot.

Pat was really cool. He helped me shoot some of the footage, like when I'm going around the dealer room. There's two more Comic Con videos from Spike coming (Day 3). Not sure why they're taking a little longer than the others, but they should be up sometime soon.

I live in brazil, i saw a pack with 6 games for 300 reais the currency reais/dollars is 2/1. that means that every atari game(2600) in here is 25 dollars and THAT is BULLSHIT
(nintendo wii games, for instance are 125 dollars in here, the new ones)

I love that old comics are in hot commodity, but I would just assume buy a reprinted omnibus. I think comics are legitimate literature and that issues should be reprinted within a reasonable time line.

Went to the Penn & Teller panel also! It was great, and the bee story was hilarious.

As far as the name "Comic-Con", I don't really have that much of a problem with it, but if they did change it, it it should be something that reflected popular arts and not just "movies". Movies//TV/games/toys/Sci-Fi/etc, and I guess that would include comics as well.

James you could jgo by the name Angry nerd. Thats it. we love you game reviews but you have other intrest and frankly I love watching you film stuff in addition to avgn. But I would hate to see an end to acgn.

I agree about the comic con needing to be split. Its just too much going on all at once. Like you I like reading comics and Manga, but I don't collect them.

In a way I can agree with you on having a Film Con seperate from Comic Con. But at least most of the movies there had comics and most of the actors and guests had comicbook movies.

How would you set up a Movie Con anyway? Without the comic aspect you lose about half of the merchandise and you'd end up with almost the same show anyway wouldn't you?

James is making observations some of us locals who have been going for years, decades actually, have been saying a long time now.

We do need our "Comic" con back. And I think there are ways they can accomplish that and not hurt all the multimedia things that have grown over the years.

Lots of big issues for planning to expand the convention center. If they can make enough room, they can seperate things up more.

I do get annoyed at a lot of the things in the dealers room just not belonging there at all. If people want to buy Hot Topic clothes, go to the mall! LOL

I agree with the ComiCon/MovieCon thing. Comics have enough following (including web comics, sunday funnies and movies based on comics) to really stay huge and active, whereas the other stuff would also have enough for its own con. It would be less of a crowd and a mess, too.

Also, lol @ the end. It's funny because I was imagining what I'd do if I saw Mr Rolfe talking on the mic. I'd probably stand by patiently and wait for them to cut before accosting him. I'll have to remember to bring an old NES game for him to sign if I ever make it to a con.

I wish I could go to ComiCon one day.. I live too damn far away >_<
