The layout is ok, but i think some improvements are needed
For example I loved the old layout of the AVGN page. With all those pixels representing each section. Now it’s become more bland.
You only need to add more images. But other than that, it looks great

The big thing I don’t like about the layout is the way the video pages changed. They used to be thumbnails all on one nice organized page. Now they are a little hard for me to navigate. Why did you feel the need to change it? YOU’RE RUINING MY LIFE!

I think the new layout looks good, people are just complaining because they don’t like change, it takes them out of their comfort zone and they feel like they don’t know where to click anymore to navigate, just give it time.
As for the video not showing up, I am sure it’s just some small oversight that will not happen in future as even Mike and James themselves get used to using this.
So chill guys it’s not the end of the world.

The design is too dark, period. It’s a matter of contrast, not taste or lazyness. Get your facts together before you bullshit on other people’s complaints.
The old Design was great, this one is like: Yea, let’s change it for shits and giggles, not that we improved anything.
Seen a lot of sites doing that just for the sake of changing the design. No one needs that.

I just had to play Ninja Gaiden again. It was as hard as I remembered, but I finally beat it after hours of failing. The final boss was kinda lame tho. I expected it to be an ultra hard Alien-Predator-Terminator-Rocky-Norris combination… but it was more like a Carebear.

I just had to reply to Asros’ comment. Why you trying to lie to us like that? Obviously you didn’t beat the game or you wouldn’t dare call the final boss (its bossES, by the way) a ‘carebear’. It is widely known that at least the last 2 of those final bosses are VERY difficult. The fact that you have 3 of them in a row, and dying ONCE sends you all the way back to the start of that world (not just the level, but to the first level of that SET of levels), which is one of the most difficul and frustrating set of levels known to man, make the final boss fights UNREASONABLE in my opinion. So for someone to just casually suggest that those bosses are like cartoon teddy bears, is just beyond absurd. Either you are being a total smartass, or you are trying to pass off an outright lie. Based on the tone of the comment, it doesn’t look like sarcasm so I’ll have to go with it being a lie. Not that it matters but… seriously. What is it with pathalogical liars not ever being able to make their lies CONVINCING? This has always fascinated me, to observe this type of behavior.

Well I can answer you this. I did beat the game. The first of those three bosses, is quite easy when you know how to beat it. The second one is probably the hardest enemy in the whole game. But there is a simple way you can beat it with. The following fireballs are a pain in the ass, BUT if they get out of the screen, they dissapear. So all you have to do is stay on the bottom and dodge those fireballs until there is a chance to attack. By the final boss, I meant the third one. It’s just dissapointing. You first chop it’s head, then the tail and then you kill it. All you have to do, is avoid those little pink things it’s throwing.
