Full House locations

Mike Matei / April 5th, 2010

It had to happen. I was in San Francisco the past week, so I had to get these pictures of the Full House locations. You might remember the video last year in Chicago, of the Family Matters house, with good friends.

This first pic is from Alamo Square. The houses in the background are seen in some of the intros, but none of them are THE actual Full House house. Either way, those houses are pretty famous.

By total coincidence, I flipped on the TV in my hotel room, and saw the same houses in “The Room”, a really shitty movie that I’ve heard so much about. It just so happened that Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim was running it as an April Fool’s joke complete with Space Ghost interviews/bumpers! And I caught it by chance! I decided to sit down and watch the whole movie. My god. It was BAD! Well, back to Full House.

And now, several blocks away, the actual Tanner home right behind me. That house looks pretty full.

Aw man I LOVED Full House growing up and still watch reruns on ABC Family when nothing else is on. I only saw bits and pieces of The Room and didn’t even notice they used the same establishment shots. What I read in Entertainment Weekly a while ago and saw on this year and last year’s April Fool’s airings on Adult Swim, it really is the worst movie ever made. Apparently there’s a cult following that has “The Room Parties” and they just get together and blast the film. *sigh*
PS – loving the new website layout and hope you’re enjoying your hiatus and vacation.

“The Room” has been aired for several years for April Fools on CN. I love how the tv guide even lies. Some of the movie is so bad it’s funny. I can’t say I’ve watched it all, just bits and pieces because it’s so bad.

James, you HAVE to do a movie review of The Room. I just finished watching it with a friend, it’s the most uncomfortable movie to watch.

You definitely have to review “The Room”, maybe do a The Room/Troll 2 so bad its good double feature.

How could you not like this show growing up TGIF was great at one time; I was just in San Francisco myself and was at that very same spot, never thought that park was a dog park it’s; I like the shoes with flowers planted in them over by the bathrooms at that park.

A friend took a picture of the Tanner house, so I decided to do some researching to see if it was legitimate. I was browsing Google images and I said to myself, “Hey, is that James Rolfe?” I went to the images page location and to my surprise, it sent me here to Cinemassacre. Keep up the great work on your video game and movie reviews James. They always make me laugh and are very informative.

I can never see anything on Full House. I can see the pics and videos on all the other sections, but not here.

Man, I always never liked show but my friends always did. I still don’t know why. I guess it’s because I thought it was cliche.
