So....as a child you designed the game Talisman?

I smell a app for this or flash game. Come on, someone do it - you know James would be all over it.

@lol_lee_lo try the link on the right of the video that says "You can get a scan of the game and instructions here".

Get your ass over here you mother fucker.

I used to do this same exact thing. I made a Mega Man and BTTF board game. I wish I still had them. Watching this video actually made me kind of sad and a little afraid. I’m just worried that kids today aren’t using their imaginations like we used to because of all the crap out there now like the Internet, smart phones, etc

It would be nice to have a scan or something like that of the game. I would love to play it (well in fact I thinking to create the game to try it...)

This is a nice game but very difficult to play.

Dude, this would be an awesome way to kill a rainy day at the beach. I'd totally play it!

dude i so want a copy duplicate of deadly danger dungeon

I actually got the talisman in one shot, but I died shortly afterward.

It was pretty cool. :)

If I have to lissen to he UPS we heart logisitics advert once more I might kill someone.

I'm thinking of making a version of this game in Roblox... and including an "if (player.UserId = placeCreator)" subroutine in the dice algorithm so that I never land on an instadeath space. Maybe expand it so anyone who coughs up 15 Robux for the VIP Shirt is safe from them too.

And for even more mua-ha-ha, create an inverse of it so that Guests and Banned Users land on nothing but instadeath spaces.

Got so far! Got the key and over to the ladder...Then fell with 6 HP...

Chuck Norris Wins this game on his first try.

i shude try makeing one :]

I'm a huge fan of this Board James series. It has inspired me to do a video on the 1995 OverPower card game with Marvel, DC and Image super heroes. If anyone is craving more retro gaming you should check it out. Thanks!

Lol I always find all of these videos hilarious. Though this one stood out, mostly for Mr. Bucket's "BALLS B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B BALLS BALLS BALLS BALLS" at the end xD

1,2.3.4 FUCKING 5 i always lmao xD

This reminds me of games my younger brother use to make, when he was a little kid. He would make huge games, something like that Weapons & Warriors game, out of cardboard and paper. These games were enormous, with mazes, buildings, custom characters, and of course, very strange rules. Some of them actually made sense. To bad I don't remember any of them specifically. He was always trying to gain my attention, since we were the only two kids my parents produced, and I was a rebellious teenager wanting to do 'grown up' stuff. Not kid stuff. However, I did play with him quite a bit. It was fun.

use 2 dice and pick which one you want

Boo! James is using this site to advertise his products! >=(

i think that game would be easier and better if you played with two dice

You should make a scan of the prankster game. I think i would LOVE that one.

I one time made a Pokémon Board Game. It had squares that made you go to the Pokémon Centre in the begin like Pikachu is on Fire, Horsea cut himself and Unknown has an Identity Crisis. :p

I so totally made some board games when i was a kid, too! I only remember one specifically - a halloween themed one, with skeletons, Dracula, ghosts, and the goal was to get the giant pot of gold inside the haunted house. It spanned 2 taped-together pages of 80s printer paper (that my parents would bring home from work to give us to draw on), and was a curvy, but linear path, with typical go back a few spaces, go forward a few spaces, lose a turn, back to start, all the basics. But i had drawings of all those monsters and a huge pot of gold with gleaming gold-crayon coins, haha. We even stored it in an old "The Bay" gift box - a clothing department store in Canada, in one of those boxes you never want to see under giftwrap on christmas morning because you know it's going to be clothes ... except there's home video from 1985, when i was 5, of me being excited to get clothes, even so far as to once say, "I hope it's a package of clothes, again!" I was always an odd kid, i guess i'm genetically more inclined to want to be in control of how i look. *shrugs*
Anyhoo, i ramble, awesome review. I much enjoy Board James, as it lets me play along to games i'd always seen advertised on TV and wanted, but never owned or got to play. Though this particular one doesn't count, i'm speaking of Mouse Trap (which i never owned, but saw a friend "trip") and Fire Ball Island (which always got my attention as a kid, but i never personally saw).

aww man i wanna try, that sounds like a challenge and i like being challenged win or lose

Nice game. Im thinking of making one of my own.

Waiting for the home version of Deadly Danger Dungeon.

This Inspired me to make a board game myself, Ive spent like 6 months work on it so far (on and off) but i think its gonna be pretty damn awesome.
Thanks James :)

Yea!

go f yourself Metro PCS!

You know, it would be easier, or even beatable if the roll of the dice was the max number of spaces you could move, and that you had to move at least 1 space :P

*0*
this game is the biggest dickfuck I've ever played!!! I spent three hours on this damn thing!! This isnt a game, it's a cruel joke you play on your friends. If I ever tried to get someone without as much patience as me, they'd disintegrate this fucktarded pile of ape crap!!! In the words of Ricky Bobby, "It's not worth a velvet painting of a dolphan and a whale getting it on!"

I say Mike gets his own show. James has AVGN, Board James, Monster Madness, and every other thing that come out; Mike needs... something.

It's awesome to see Mike Matei play a role in a series regularly, helps the fans familiarize themselves with the previously mysterious name. Plus, Mike is just freaking awesome. But he still is a Mother@#$%er.

I think you were inspired by all those annoying LJN-games, James. One life, no continues. You should've at least got some continues once you get the key, so you can start there!

This is the first Board James episode without any balls in it.

This is like a Board Game equivelant to Hell.

LMAO "itsameee ohhhohhhhhitsameeeaaoohohh"
Loved the Bugs Bunny reference.

That is AWESOME - I thought I was the only person who ever tried to make his own board game: when I was like twelve or something, I made this board game for all of my Godzilla action figures, with them as the player pieces, and all the evil monsters were bosses you had to fight, should you land on a boss square and draw one of them out of the boss pile - even the army as a whole was its own boss, with my little military toys being that game piece. The goal was to make it to monster island, and the battling was all dice based, but just like what you said about all these games you made it pretty much sucked ass.
Eh.
Fucking love Godzilla, though... Spacegodzilla was my favorite enemy...

I almost got to the end.then when i got the talisman... bloody rope fall spike game over.ALL THAT SHIT WITH 1 HEALTH POINT LEFT AND SPLAT DEAD!
