I saved over 60 ticket stubs from concerts and shows I’ve been to. Check them out. They’re all great memories that maybe some of you remember as well.

Wow, this was made 2 months before Dio died, he even mentioned him. Damn. RIP Dio.

Being such a Zombie fan, I'm surprised you didn't jump at the two Alice Cooper/Rob Zombie shows... I always was more of an Alice fan than Zombie fan but my girlfriend at the time was way into Zombie so we went to the Halloween one with the Murderdolls and boy, what a show... Zombie was on par with Alice show-wise, as blasphemous that is to say

WOW no way you were at that same concert as me, the one at the M@T ravens stadium. that was my first concert

the one with metallica korn SOAD powerman and kid rock.

good show it was cool it was on the 4th of july. my friends dad worked at the place we got back stage passes. pretty sweet.

thats crazy though that you were there also.

I was at that AC/DC concert. I'm only 15 and that was my first concert IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of The Producers, I had a chance to see the stage version of Young Frankenstein for free, but my phone hung up just before the morning talk radio giving away tickets answered (he picked up a dial tone on air).

Funny that the only concert I've ever been to happens to be a major band that you seemed to have missed, The Eagles.

honestly, what an envey James I would like to be in the OZZ FEST, as I can see we share almost the same music preferences AC DC, BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST, OZZY AND METALLICA. I had been only in a KISS CONCERT, RAMMSTEIN AND ACDC!!! And I still have the tickets too.

I am glad you recorded this on the snare drum of a drum kit.... just makes me happy :D

its sad that someone put Disturbed and SOAD in the same sentence with Dragonforce and Black Sabbath, two of these bands arent like the others, two of these bands just dont belong.

musical taste is subjective quit being a douche

You know what, I hate you. Why? Well because A) ,"The Sinister Urge" w/ Rob Z's autograph and B), having seen Rob Zombie live. Jealous, I am.

Omg! I am so jealous! I love Metallica, Black Sabbath, and SOAD. I actually got to see SOAD for the first time last Sunday, it was amazing. I still have not see Metallica, since I am from a younger generation and I am dying to see them, Plus for a girl, its not very common to be really into Metallica.

I only think that's partly true, I find it's more seldom you see a girl who likes pre-Black Album Metallica. I often meet girls who like them, but mostly for their ballads, is that good or bad?

my dad got a black sabbath pick for them at a concert

You saw Rob zombie so many times... and tallica too, I'm so jealous man! I just saw Sepultura and Muse recently and it was awesome. anyway keep up the good work james, i was introduced to your AVGN vids by a friend of mine but I became a total fan, i love your work from AVGN to the movie reviews to your movies, here in france you sure have 1 fan mr rolfe :)

It's sad that you missed the 2006 Ozzfest, it was amazing with Disturbed, System of a Down, Dragon Force, and Black Sabbath. Truly a concert you would have liked to see.

Thanks James. You inspired me to make my own album of concert tickets although you've been to a ton more than I have :)

Why would Penn do that? They have made famous that they don't protect their tricks because they are atheists who hate the idea of magic. They admit what they do is a trick and show people how they do it. Why would penn tell you not to tell her how they did it? Anyway, nothing but mainstream stuff there. I've always liked the smaller shows, they are so much more like parties.

I've GNR Kiss, Twisted Sister, Linkin Park, annd this June, RUSH. Yea I haven't been to too many concerts, I tried to get Korn but it sold out

I've been to a ton of Pearl Jam shows and the reason they space it out like that is because Pearl Jam is the type of band who's fans will try to get tickets to all the shows. They did something similar in Mansfield, MA back in 03' when I went to see them. Unfortunately I didn't get tickets to the first 2 days, but they saved the best for last and played for over 3 hours on day 3. Having been around and constantly touring, my guess would be that they wanted to do something different rather than playing Jeremy for the 10,000 time. It's the rarities that the real diehard fans would recognize!

btw, pretty awesome career you carved out for yourself. A lot of respect here. I too am a die hard horror/monster movie fan and film fanatic in general. Love the reviews. Keep up the good work!

System of a Down kicks fuckin ass!!! I hope they get back together soon they are supposedly doing a huge world tour this year but nothings been mentioned about them getting back together permanetly lets hope so.

I personally think a better band should of closed the spectrum, don't get me wrong, pearl jam is a good band. Also the Tower Theatre is awesome! I think everyone should go see the Austraiian Pink Floyd Show a.k.a. aussie floyd, they're awesome!

The tommy soundtrack was originally a stage show and written for a story on stage.
I was at 3 of the Ozzfests that you went to but you prolly didnt go to the meadows in CT right?
I also have been to EVERY Project revolution (Linkin Park) show since they started. I love rock-rap since I like the rimes with a rock ballad in the background or a phat beat with some nice rock lyrics to boot.

fuckin awesome James!! My first show was White Zombie with Prong when I was 14.Back in 94* at the Colorado Springs Auditorium. You made me collect all my stubbs up, new and old and put them into a protected album. one day we shall drink a beer together and shoot the shit. Party on Wayne, party on Garth..... dunno why I had the urge to say that. o_O

Great Collection James! I have seen Sammy Hagar with Van Halen and on his own with his band. My new goal is to see him with Chickenfoot. The one band I would have loved to seen, but was to young at the time, was Queen with Freddy but at last that wont happen. Keep up the good work!

Hey James, nice concerts. my favorite bands are KISS, Judas Priest, and Metallica. But i never had the pleasure to see metallica live. hopefully some time in the future i will

Also Rammstein guy is so $&#ing lucky. I would have fallen over though if James had been flipping through and revealed a KMFDM or Die Krupps ticket.

I came back from Madison Square Garden to see Rammstein!
I still have my ticket!

Nice collection, man. I would've been SUPER pissed not to have seen Iron Maiden at OzzFest '05.

Sound's real hard all these concert.
But the european style is the harderst.

Love holland :D

Are you going to see Rammstein at MSG on December 10th?

Just wanted to comment:
For someone who enjoys monster movies and hard rock I am surprised you never went to see a GWAR concert.
Surely they play in Philly?

GWAR is a fun show to go to, lots of fake blood sprayed though, so be prepared.

I really like how you connect with your fan base, good job. Hope you can get to make a movie soon.

cool, ive only seen TOOL twice also, first time sucked, was an open festival kind of concert thing, too many drunk frat boys wanting too start fights, second time i saw them was amazing,at SDSU, freaking amazing.

Hey James! I see you like Metal, I"m not much of a metalhead myself but, three bands I reccomend you check out are: Blue Cheer, Melvins and Electric Wizard if you like sludge metal/stoner rock like Black Sabbath.

Also, I wonder if you like classic Goth Rock bands like Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Sisters of Mercy. I'm under the impresstion you would, given you love classic horror themed things.

awesome stash of concert stubs. i see you been to the electric factory. that place is small but very cool. so i take it you're on the east cost then.

Im so jealous, i want to see rob zombie so damn bad

You like horror and you like heavy metal. Perfect. The one band that combines this the best with their shows is MUSHROOMHEAD. If they come to your area, you have got to see them. The always play smaller venues so you get a chance to get up close. And, most of the time, they stick around for autographs and pictures for free. Really nice guys.

I watch AVGN like every day....But after watching this I decided to register as a member just to say WHAT A FUCKING AWESOME COLLECTION OF CONCERTS!!!

....so there I said it

oh, and TOOL...which I only remember because it was the biggest fucking dissapointment of all time...no Sober, no stinkfist, no prison sex....no fucking parabola......fuck.....

friggin awesome man, my first concert was KISS. Ive also seen, Styx, reo speed wagon, ted nugent, poison, winger, cinderella, faster pussycat, Mudvayne, POD, hoobastank, Linkin Park, Snoop dog, Korn, Avenged sevenfold (been to the WARPED TOUR 2 years) Metallica, Deftones, Limp Bizkit (SUMMER SAN. 2004) Killswitch Engage, Bush, U2, Pappa Roach, HED PE, Sugar Ray (pre-fly, thank god) theres more...but I cant think of them. I just got off a shitty nights work and my brains not working lol. By the way, Metallica and U2 were the best.

So far, I've only been to a few concerts. The first ever was 4-Him's last concert before retiring, which I guess was pretty significant. Not a big fan of religious music, but it was pretty good. Also seen a few concerts with a whole slew of unsigned bands from around the area, and those have been pretty good. One of the best I've ever seen was also an independent concert with unsigned acts, pretty much all of them from my own town. It was absolutely phenomenal and perhaps the only time I ever felt like I should've paid MORE for my ticket. Then I went to In the Field, this concert at a High School football field that had these Christan heavy metal bands, but the main act was Brain "Head" Welch of Korn. It would've blown the roof of the place if they'd had one. Also got some autographs from Head and his bandmates. Then a few days later, in a move pretty much the exact opposite of Head, I went to see Journey and Night Ranger. NR performed cover of Damn Yankee's "Coming of Age", and overall the show was spectacular, especially Journey who, at the risk of sounding blasphemous, sound better with Arnel Pineda than Steve Perry, in my honest opinion. The last one I went to was this Blues festival in NM, I think the town was Ruridroso or something like that. It was also pretty cool.

Even though its impossible to see THE DOORS In Concert, Do like there Music and Have you ever heard of them?

I saw the ZZ Top / Ted Nugent show in Cincinnati. Kenny Wayne Shepherd opened for them. I sat in the third row for that show; it was very cool. Also saw AC/DC, but Slash canceled that night.

Awesome, and damn i really wanna go and live in the states for a few months, just to see concerts and shows. We get a few good shows in Australia every now and then but the only decent rock festival we have is soundwave which has a pretty impressive lineup every year, by Australian standards, This years headliners were Jane's Addiction, and Faith No More played a full set, wicked. The year before was NIN and Alice In Chains, and next year is Primus, Rob Zombie, Slayer, Queens of the Stone Age and Iron Maiden. Cannot wait!!!

Holy shit you saw PRIMUS ! ! !...son of a bitch. They dont really tour England any more, we were lucky to get a Fungus and Foes show, bout it

I have just heard Ozzy Osbourne here in Denmark. It was too awesome :D
3/2 row in the front xD

Hey James,

I checked Pearl Jam's website and the night you saw them at the spectrum was the first night.

p.s. I know you're into Hard Rock and if you ever get the chance, go check out Airbourne live because they are fucking awesome

that Metallica/Days of the New/Cantrell show was something like my 3rd concert. and the first i ever tried to bootleg. the recording came out like shit, but at 14 yrs old it still felt worth it.

Think i saw that Korn show too.

and also an old girlfriend dragged me to that Jay-Z 50 Cent thing. not my bag either.

Dio Sabbath rules, Def Leppard rules.

but dude, you need to see Rush!
