I used to rent horror movies off the shelf at video stores just because their covers were creepy. This was one of the first ones I rented. Ahh, the good old days of VHS horror. (=

1982 was a fucking kicks ass year for horror films. I see 3 on this list, and I think that’s the most of any year on your lists.
Still there were so many horror films made in 1982, and I don’t know if there’s one I don’t like lol.

I really liked this review so I bought it and watched it with my friends. Thanks for not mentioning the rape scene, it made for quite and awkward moment when the lump of flesh was humping the dead girl. Mutant Siamese-twin necrophilia, it was truly messed up. Apart from that it was great and I really enjoyed your view on the movie.

James, Basket Case 2 is so much better than the first! Acting is better, it’s scarrier and duane is just plain creepy in that movie! if you haven’t seein it, you just got to!

I just obtained a copy of Basket Case 3, still sealed, for $6. It is very out-of-print and the lowest price on Amazon for a new copy is $49, with used copies just a little behind that. I guess this means I made a …good buy?

I actually rented this movie with my elder cousins… It always blew me off and, since TMNT already aired (and became a frigging media phenomenon by the time i could see this film), in a way i always thought that Krang and the Basket freak were related… There is a Splatterhouse spirit all over it, though probably is the other way around.

Amazingly stupid film!
Being a collector, you should definitely check out the DVD Hardboxes of this trilogy! Really awesome etro feeling when you hold em in your hands!
