I consider House of Wax to be Vincent Price’s best film! The 1933 film is not bad either (saw it on YouTube though), and I think the 2005 remake is just something to turn your brain off for the next two hours.
I’m sure Tim Burton did the special hosting gig at the same time he promoted Edward Scissorhands because Price was in it in his final role!
This film is fucking AMAZING!! Vincent Price was a LEGEND! One of the greatest villians of all time! The twist at the end of this film was so amazing.
Talking about the film climaxing to soon, it’s kind of like “When a Stranger Calls” (1979) the 1st 20 minutes of that film are unrivaled in any horror film, but , unfortunately, it has nowhere to go down from there
I love seeing a young Charles Bronson as Igor lol!

Nice Movie. This is one of the Movies where you Cheer for the Villain.
Man, Tim Burton’s got some issues. But he’s awesome.

This is one of my all time favorite films.
The only good thing I can see about the 2005 House of Wax is seeing Paris Hilton getting pwned by a lead pipe. Fatality!
If they do another remake, the wax museum owner should be played by Tim Curry! He is the only one who could follow up Vincent Price.
I wonder, is Tim Burton is autistic?
I’m just curious.
too bad Burton sucks now, he made some great movies in the past
