I watched it some time ago on TCM On Demand and found it to be OK! I’ll probably give it another watch along Cat People on the Val Lewton DVD set which again I had my eye on!
The nickname given to the doctor, Toddy, the doctors last-name being Macfarlane, reminds me of Todd Mcfarlane, ( nicknamed Toddy, by many of the readers of the Spiderman comics he illustrated ) creator of spawn and a somewhat prominent name in the comic-book world when it comes to modern occult and horror comics.
He also did a series of action figures based on classic horror movie monsters, including Frankenstein and Dracula…
I guess destiny works in mysterious ways.
I feel sorry for Bela Lugosi, I bet if he accepted the role of Frankenstein, he would’ve been as famous as Boris Karloff.
Anyway, great review, and although I’ve not seen any of his films, Boris Karloff is one of my horror heroes.
Please do reviews for the saw series!
Kevin McCarthy Died Today. He’s the doctor from invasion of the body Snatchers.

Sounds cool. I just saw I Sell the Dead. I wonder what the relationship is between the two.
Heh, I thought it said “Booby Snatcher” for a second.
