Listen to the background in the NES version of Waynes’ World on which the Nerd comments. A 2 sec. loop that repeats over and over.
The other day I was listening to an AC/DC album called Let There Be Rock, and I stumbled over this funny song in which the background guitar sounds just like that 2 sec. loop. This is the link:

Try to forward until 1:00 and the background guitar will start. I think it sounds just the music from the game, but judge for yourself.

it’s pretty similar but it gets lower instead of higher and has slightly different pitches; i recognized the similarity right away though, nice catch!

Talking about movies, The Rocketeer NES/SNES gamesshould be reviewed… I will never understand how a terrific comic book becomes an adaptated, toned-down-yet-cool Disney perspective and after that, it turns out to be a horrible game.
Shit that always happens, yes. But still…! Those games deserve to be AVGNed.
