Who does the music at the end?

When I was a wee kid I went into the shop and saw Godzilla for the NES and was really excited, but it was new and cost too much so ended up getting Blaster Master instead. While I loved Blaster Master, I was still annoyed at missing out on Godzilla, my favourite thing ever... found out many many years later I dodged a bullet. Got the one on the PS2 though. It's good but... I really woulda' cared more as a child. So I know that feel.

Never played any of the Godzilla Games for the NES. The only one I played (that I remember anyway), was one of the Godzilla games for Xbox. He ought to review Beavis and Butthead for the Sega. Now THERE is a truly BAD game. The other game that would be interesting to see the AVGN nerd's take on it.

Honestly, I too am a huge Godzilla and many of the old games were pretty shitty, and what's fucked up about being a fan is that back in the 1980's and 90's, you could only find these movies in their shot English dubbing and not in their original Japanese glory. I absolutely fucking LOVE Godzilla movies, owning any one i could get my hands on as well as frigging catching some on the Sci-Fi (not SyFy as it is nowadays) Channel. I remember sitting on my floor in my living room recording Destroy All Monsters and Godzilla vs. The Cosmic Monster. and to gojirafan1, he stated himself being a Monster fan, Dogora and Matango are kinda alien invasion films not monster. James, I too am a Giant Monster fan and I know what its like to find out that many of the movies are rarely EVER released here

when james says "what's this, what's that" i was surprised that he didn't know it was dogora and matango, guess he's not such a big toho monster movie fan after all :p

As a child, I couldn't decide what product of Japan was better; Godzilla or Nintendo. Then one weekend I rented Godzilla ON Nintendo. It was a waste of a weekend. I rented it on a Friday night, was supposed to return it Monday before noon, but it was MLK day that Monday, so I got to return it Tuesday at noon. I wasted a three day weekend in 1992 on Godzilla for NES. :(

These games are too little too late. Sure, kids growing up nowadays will get to play these games, but they don't give a shit about Godzilla, they mostly think he's a joke.

I was a fan of godzilla when I kid, but I never found any good games, but I did play king of the monsters 2 ...... it was one of my favourite games, it's better then any tournament fighters game with big monsters...WHY WASN'T GODZILLA LIKE THAT !!!! the only thing sucked about the game is the god awful names the monsters had...Beetlemaster...Sackeyes...Eifflely....huggfrogger...lavicus...clawhead and Famardy ?! Oh ya theres a godzilla nock off called Super Geon,theres an Altra man nock off called Atomic guy and theres a metal king kong called Cyber woo, those are the heros . Good game, but crappy names.

I played Super Godzilla to completion for some strange reason. Strange glitch/design feature...if you had a second player control plugged in while trying to play that game, your little blue dot wouldn't even move around the board. It would just show that dumb walking scene for all eternity.

Godzilla is the best

If it wern't for the 1998 American version of Godzilla, I wouldn't have been interested in Godzilla at all. I haven't seen all the films, and I enjoy watching Monster Madness 2008, which is what intruduced me to Cinemassacre. Other than the 1998 film, I've also seen Godzilla 2000 theatrically, and it was awesome.

People like me who play xbox 360 and love Godzilla get fucked hard because no Godzilla games came out for the 360. Godzilla Unleashed came out for PS2 and Wii, but not for the 360, that makes me fucking pissed as shit. Godzilla loving xbox 360 gamers NEED just 1 Godzilla game, JUST 1.

The best time for games were NES and SNES and SEGA. Trust me, these new games come out with very few good games. It's mostly graphics over everything else. Maybe GODZILLA sucked out to new consoles but there are so much more classics on the bit consoles. In terms of VIDEO GAMING, you were born at the perfect time. Our generation grew up on the evolution of gaming. I find these new games are too advanced for kids. It's mostly targeted for older audiences that grew up with older consoles. We played the old stuff and can enjoy the new stuff. Kids start right off the bat with these new games but don't have the experience of gaming like we do.

This is one of the best. Thankyou. I love Monster movies and while never playing these ga,mes as a child, I can imagine the heartbreak and disapointment. While the game developers were trying to be creative, they failed. Horriably.

This and the Godzillathon you did have really got me interested in Godzilla. I hope a new game comes out that's just like the PS2 and Xbox games, they looked awesome. I'd love to play as Ghidorah destroying stuff.
