What do you think of x-men legends 1 & 2 there 100% better than both NES and Genesis i'm serious.

I had the wolverine game when I was younger and I remember it being as hard as my shit after and all you can eat steak buffet. But I kept on because my parents hated games and they would only buy me one game per year.

Needless to say I mastered the technique of using the self injuring claws. Although I played it alot, I was never able to beat it. Sabretooth is the last boss and I am convinced he is invincible and placed as a gag to fuck with children.

I am sure it has been stated but I cannot believe AVGN didn't mention Wolverine going into spaz-out mode when you use his claws too much.

I just bought a few NES games just not caring whether they were good or not, didn’t want horrible ones, just average, I guess about 4 months ago. It was so fucking cheap because the label was like burned or some shit so I couldn’t see the LJN stamp! But, as angry as I was, I don’t blame the kid who burned the label, because when I put that game in my Nintendo... I had nightmares for weeks to come.

The Genesis X-men has a glitch where you can completely skip the fight with Sabertooth. If you stand on the upper left platform where you fight him (he's still off the screen) and summon Ice Man to make a bridge between the upper platforms, it cancels out the fight entirely and you just walk by as if nothing happened. I don't know if this is a well known glitch because I found it myself as a kid and abused the hell out of it for years.

Also, my dumb ass always flipped the power switch on and off instead of hitting reset so it took me YEARS to beat that section of the Mojo stage.

Why didn't you do the SNES X-Men games (Spiderman/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge and X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse) on this review? I've always wondered about that.

Oh, and if you've ever wondered why LJN's games were so shitty, it's because it was Acclaim's secondary label. In other words, these are the games that weren't good enough to be Acclaim games. Think about that.

Slight error in my post. acclaim held on to LJN from 1990 when they bought the company from MCA up to 2000. Another fun fact is MCA's profits plunged down over 75% when they had LJN, now that sucks ass.

Actually, LJN came from Lewis J. Norman, the reversal of Norman J. Lewis who ran a toy company. By the way ever heard of Acclaim? Thats who they worked for up to a small reappearance in 2000, since then they haven't been heard from again....Thank God.

If anyones interested in playing a good game featuring the X-Men, play the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games. They rock.
I also heard that the game based on X-Men Origins: Wolverine is also pretty good, even for a movie based game.
