In Poland, we have same thing... IN HOSPITALS. Plus we have to pay to even WATCH REGULAR TV! That's right, if you won't put quarter in time, TV shuts off.

That's a real bullshit.

you know whats bull shit that at the beginning of every fking episode is an ad, its so annoying over seen the same ad a million times. just shut up and let me watch my avgn

I think that you're right about the secret Hotel TV factory on USA, because here in México, we don't have that problem, every hotel i went on all the country did had a TV with connections for a videogame. Except from those hotels that don't have TV at all. The only problem in some hotels is that the Tv's are hanging on the ceiling and it's almost impossible to connect a console.
By the way sorry about the misspeling, I still have some problems with that.

I think more of a bullshit is when the breakfast is not included. In Finland breakfast is ALWAYS included.

MY tv as the RCA input on the front

hehehe. time for a relaxing stay at the local hotel ass

i went to a hotel in NJ and had a RCA input on the tv in my room. Am not lying

hahahaha was the pay website for a hotel ACHELEY CALLED HOTEL ASS!? omg if true rofl ^-^

After watching this I went through my apartment checking the tvs. I never noticed that exept the big widescreen tv just one older had em. So i have 2 tvs that can only be plugged with an antena or the european wide plug. They are a Panasonic and a Goldstar(LG) - just if you are wondering which are those "hotel room tv" companies.

whats funny about the wizard is they're always playing the nes via rca instead of coaxial EVEN IN A HOTEL. it was hard to find a tv with rca back then, but even still they never have them in hotels

Fucking advertisements!

This is why I bring my portables with me on vacation, as well as some books and graphic novels. Hell, I rarely leave home without at least my PSP or DS or at the very least my MP3 player in my pocket. But that's mainly a habit of me having to frequently ride the bus roughly two hours during the work week.

u want a medal for this asshole??
ok good job dick it's ur idea now go fuck ur self freddy-x9856 ....

you know whats bullshit!! advertisments! on you know whats bull shit videos

Hotels themselves are bullshit. Especially expensive ones. Why pay so much money to sleep. I don't give two shits how fancy the building is, all you really so is sleep and occasionally fuck there.

I have never had any problems with hotel tv's. I usually hit up the 3 to 4 start hotels I know that if I pay 40 dollars a night the tv's will never be more than a big box of nothing lol. Pay a little more for the room and your tv will be better thats a promise. Check out Hyatt, Marriot, and some other nice places. I know that a lot people don't have the money for an expensive hotel but if you pay a little extra you won't have to complain about a different tv. I went to a hotel called Aloft and they had a converter for everything...computer, usb, rca's and maybe some other stuff. Things weren't working and the lady at the desk said she would personally come see whats wrong and if she could get things to work. Im not sure what you guys are complaining about extra for paying lowest cost for a hotel and then expecting extra features.

Never thought this could be such a pain in the *ss. If I ever own a hotel, I'll make sure this b*llshit is absent!

I live in Brazil, and there are a lot of hotel tv´s here that have the RCA,but they are 20 years old,I hope that these old tvs will not break soon

It's true, they actually do specially design TVs for hotel rooms. It's called a 'Hospitality' model

I hope he would do one about commercials intruding on the internet. I sometimes like the commercials to get up and go to the bathroom, but it's ridiculous to sit and wait while the episode really starts. Even worse, if you are in a hurry and you think you can still watch the episode, you get even more late.

I would stay at Hotel Ass!

That's true bull shit and Härän Paskaa that bull shit on Fin use it if you dont wanna shit bull's shit

Ben Brickley, it's included in the price of your hotel stay so you paied for that DVD player anyways.. unless the hotel room was free :-)

Here in england we have dvd players in hotel tvs exept travelodge

Advertisements in the beginning of video are bullshit.

imagine if they start charging you for playing cards...

Hotel Ass, indeed.

My old TV that I had before the one I just got didn't have RCA inputs on the front or Back.

It was like having a hotel TV at home.

@BKILLER777 at the hospital I go to, I love watchingtheTV'sthere. My hospital is THE BEST THERE IS! in the inpatient rooms, the tv's are HD, pretty big, like 30 or 40 something inches, so they look great, they have a gretty good amount of channels, they actually are NOT too cheap to afford AT LEAST standard cable, so you get like 60 or 70 something channels,AND IT'S FREE TO WATCH! another cool thing. there's this room called the infusion unit, in there you have a HELL OF a time sitting in there, they haveHUGE TV's,also HD, they have this special speaker that hangs above your head like a light, so you get to hear it better, there is a HUGE variey of video games AND movies for you to enjoy while you are in there. Seriously, they have the XBOX 360, the PS2,the Gamecube, and even a few PC games that you can play on laptops they have, not to mention the GIGANTIC library of movies to watch on you TV.
I got to ask you, what hospital do YOU go to? it sucks, because they are shits where you go. Sorry about what you suffer

a secret for everyone. James did not, I repaeat DID NOT make thi vid out his own desire. I TOLD him to make the video because this is how I fell about it, and he agreed. so he made the video for me.
OK not really but, he might as well have. because this is Literally how I feel about it. Also he forgot some things: some hotels DON'T even have the games or movies to buy, so you have a TV with bullshit channels, no entertainment on it of any kind, and THEY STILL got the nerve to make it so that the TV's don't let you play you stuff. AND on one occasion, I wnt to this one "nice" hotel, and it had the RCA insput, AND I STILL couldn't play it. you know why? because the hotel workers deliberately fucked up the TV so you couldn't play it. the way this happened is that you turn the game on, and you can't see the picture AT ALL 'cause it looks like crap, all snowy and such. I have a cable to hook the game up to the coaxial input just in case, but I hate having to resort to that, because it's a pain in the ass. one ok thng, I usually don't have to pay for internet at a hotel. I get it for free most of the time. but bottom line : THAT'S BULLSHIT!

You know whats more bullshit then hotel TV's? Hospital TV's. First they dont have RCA input. Second is that u cant watch TV without a $25 for one fucking day. Third is that if you did have a coaxial converter, u cant get to the back. Fourth is that if u do have a labtop then u cant go on on there wi-fi without a special code. so thats some more bullshit and would be even funnier if James did a review on this.

Yes, most hotels buy their tv's direct from the manufacturer. On the other hand, the hotel I work at just switched out all their crappy old coax only 27" tv's, with 32" lcd's we just got from an electronics retailer, RCA and HDMI inputs intact.

As for the internet.... we provide wireless for free, but it's complete ass, so you still lose, what can you do?

He said go to circuit city *sigh*

Is it bullshit to bring a book along while in a hotel? xD

Really, sitting in the this-one-will-kill-me-for-sure plane for hours, putting up with annoying flight attendents, or standing in a traffic jam for hours, getting used to a different currency maybe, searching for the hotel, dealing with the hole-in-the-brain idiot who's just walked away with your suitcase...

All this bullshit for playing video games and watching DVD in a hotel room?

That's bullshit xD

Na, don't take me serious. Maybe I'm just easy to please because the portables and a few books are enough for me when I stay in a hotel.

You know whats bullshit? Having to watch a 30 second commercial on a 1 minute video clip.

omg James, do you take your full size consoles with you on the road ??? That's utter bullshit XDDD

Reminds me of a time I stayed in a hotel and I had to pay to play N64 for an hour. The thing is Playstation 2, Gamecube, and Xbox were already out. So why did they have only N64? I only got to play for an hour unless I payed more. Now that is what I call Bullshit.

I agree with the TV and charging for internet. I stayed in the Aston Waikiki beach hotel, and the TV had the same bullshit, including an N64 controller for games, the movies and music that you have to pay for. The TV had RCA inputs and slots for memory cards and all I had to unlock that shit was unplug the Lodgenet controller from the TV then the inputs were usable.

Another thing thats ass is if you wanted to use the internet in your room, you had to pay a ridiculisly high price. $9.95 for a day, $39.95 for a whole week, and if thats not insane enough, $105.99 for 30 days, like you would stay there for a month. Thank god they had free WiFi for your laptop, but the only place I could use it was at their pay-per-use desktop computers in the lobby. There was no password for the internet, I just had to accept their terms of service.

So if you get a flatscreen TV with inputs in the hotel room try unplugging the lodegenet controller. And if you have to pay for internet in the room, bring your laptop to the lobby and see if there is free wireless there. But still, those games on the TV, along with the movies and music, THATS BULLSHIT!!!

Sadly one of the TVs in my room doesn't have any RCA inputs, only coaxial. I have my PS2 plugged in it though, I have coaxial adapters for most my consoles cause of that shitty TV. I probably stole it from a hotel one night while I was drunk or something.

1) There are many hotel chains that have "free wireless internet." Yea you're probably are already paying for it, whether you use it or not, but what can you? You might be lucky to pick up another wireless single. Maybe or not.

2) The TVs are bullshit. The channel guide is hard to find and / or is incorrect. I've never seen a hotel TV with video input slots. But, I ask, why would you bring an x-box, Wii, or ps3 to a hotel unless you're staying with a group of friends? Even if it was a party environment like mag-fest or whatever, you'd still have to lug around the console, controllers, wires, and games.

3) IMO. I want my hotel room to be clean. No bugs. No used condoms under the bed. No nasty stains on the carpet. I wouldn't expect the average hotel to treat me like a VIP. If I have to pay extra for the internet, I'd rather find a coffee shop with wi-fi and sit down. If I could play any video games, no problem either, I'll play a game on my ipod (or iphone if you have one).

But the TVs themselves are BS no doubt.

Psp doesnt have an emulator for all old systems you have to fig it and even when you do it cant even play starfox thats why I dont hack any of my systems plus if you do hack the psp you cant play any psn titles or new games so the cons of hacking a psp or jailbreaking an ipod FAR outweigh the cons!
