Hey James did you know that they’re supposed to come out with a Godzilla movie (American) in 2012? You should give your thoughts on it. Just a thought.
I really have to get to watch all the Godzilla movies, I remember I really liked the ones with Mothra and Mecha King Gidora, which were the only ones I watched (though I do have some sparse memories of Mecha Godzilla, so maybe I watched that one too, not sure).
where abouts could i get these films as i live in england? also love your stuff james good luck with the film (p.s. you should go gaint monsters like the mothra or rodan for this years MM)
I loved Godzillathon. It was what made me a fan of James. I’d been introduced through AVGN by a friend, and realized he also did movie reviews. I noticed that he loved a lot of the same films, but Godzilla took the cake. Godzilla is my favourite film series, and is what got me interested in film-making. It effected me in a way no other series has.
To see that James loves them too, that was what sold me. (As a huge Godzilla nerd, I noticed a few mistakes in some of this reviews, but who gives a damn, he got nearly everything right).
All I can say is, thanks for Godzillathon James, it is what got me watching your videos/films, which gave me insight on such a unique film-maker as yourself.
That’s funny I remember watching all of the Godzillathon when it came out, but I don’t remember seeing this “Best of” video before. It’s still great either way.
Hey, I am Japanese myself but haven’t seen the Godzilla series. But your Godzilla-thon has got me real interested for sure! It feels complementing that someone outside of Japan appreciates Godzilla so much. Maybe it’s a strange thing to say, but I feel greatly honored; especially cos I respect you and your works so much!
James, you are a cool guy, and my respect for you keeps on growing. Keep up the good work!
OF COURSE!
HaHa, I could never get enough of that joke!

Atomic Breath?? Its clobberin time!!!
@Shiirow Well, Marvel DID have the Godzilla license for quite a while… I’m pretty sure he actually does fight the Fantastic Four in those comics.
I still won’t forget how exciting it was waiting for these reviews. Godzilla is FRIGGIN AWESOME (screw the 1998 zilla)!
what’s the music at the end of the video?
the most epic review ever
This reminded me that there’s going to be a Godzilla 2012. Another American one, but it will supposedly stay true to its roots.
This review it’s awesome I grown up watching Godzilla Movies !!!!
