  2. Rhetticus says:

Wow, what an impressive collection *_*. And with all that wood the room itself looks like a ’70s console =D

  3. Issitheus says:

I managed to get a CD-i today for only about 4 bucks, and it works!
Sadly (or would it be thankfully?), it didn’t come with a controller or any games.

  4. supermark64 says:

thats weirdish. nintendo tried to make a cd attachment to the snes with sony but somthing happened that made them seperate. so its almost like nintendo made their own competer. (i fail at spelling)

  5. TacticPwner117XBL says:

After watching all 3 parts, I felt like killing myself, just knowing that there are existing Zelda games that SUCKS MONKEYFUCK!

  6. BananaJello says:

Only CD-i game I ever played was Burn Cycle, and it was a PC port. It wasn’t too bad, bit confusing, but it was actually pretty fun. It was fairly innovative for the time.

  7. c64kicksass says:

Hotel Mario? Super Mario Brothers’ Hotel?
    More like Super Mario Brothel!

Gotta close the doors, get the Goombas some privacy with the Koopa Troopas!

    Were there ANY ..
    . – go… ….dece……. … .. . ACCEPTABLE games for this system?? What were they thinking!?

  8. Minion of Yahtzee says:

The CDi, oh good god what an unholy pile of plastic evil. This is perfect to be the vessel for the unholy Triforce. I heard rumors but I never knew it existed. At least I wish it didn’t exist.

  9. supermark64 says:

i honestly somewhat like this game

  10. Ps3nerd032 says:

Wow, that Donkey Kong figure’s hands is pretty suggestive, and Hotel Mario is pretty much a giant never-ending goose chase in a hotel, but like, that makes a difference. Also, the jump over – up into another enemy on different floor thing is ridiculous, I mean obviously, given that it’s a hotel, that was bound to happen with the layout. So, I digress, in my opinion, it’s not a bad game, it’s just inevitable things like that make suck ass.

  11. phoenix252005 says:

wow what a piece of dog shit! A fuckin piece of turkey turds!!! Long live the Nerd!!

  12. supermuffin says:

there was actually a mario game not on a nintendo consle (.)(.)

  13. phoenix252005 says:

Yeah and as you can see it was a piece of monkey doo-doo!! Fuck this game and Fuck this system!!!! YOur awesome James!!

  14. SpeedyEric says:

I’ve never seen a case like the one for your copy of Wand of Gamelon.

The cut scenes on the Mario and Zelda games ARE more corny than the cartoons.

  15. Juno says:

so how did they get the rights to mario and zelda??

  16. My uncle has a CD-I and me and my two older brothers used to play on it way back. The funny thing is, we didn’t play that sucking games (though watching this makes the CD-I really look bad and it is). But really, search for The Apprentice. It’s really a nice game!

    @ supermark64

holy crap, I had no idea how the PlayStation project began. So Sony realized Nintendo had an idea they could have used, but had to pretend to work with Nintendo just to learn how to make a video game system? And then ripped them off?

Sony just has a long, awful history of evil. They put rootkits on our computers and shut down Lik-Sang, too! 8O

  18. phv says:

omg where can you buy that donkey kong animal. i want it so bad!!!

  19. aztoya06 says:

Hey guys I have a question, why did he cross out sony when he was talking about the playstation? Isn’t it called the Sony Playstation?? Maybe it was just a mistake but I’m confused.

  20. Devan Shell says:

About the deal with Nintendo and Sony…

It’s not like Sony screwed over Nintendo. Nintendo approached Sony to create a CD addon for the SNES, the SNES-CD. Progress was made a contract was signed. But the contract that was signed would give Sony complete control over all titles released on the SNES-CD. Nintendo didn’t want this so without so much as informing Sony, Nintendo announced publicly that all cooperation with Sony was disbanded and that they would approach Philips instead.

Sony then considered cancelling the project, but instead they decided to use what they already accomplished to create an early version of the PlayStation, then called Play Station. Nintendo sued them because according to them they owned the name. They lost the lawsuit and Sony released their early version of the Play Station.

Nintendo and Sony then came to an agreement that the Play Station would still have a port for SNES games, and Nintendo would receive the bulk of the profits for these games. But then Sony decided to rework the Play Station for a new target audience, renaming it to PlayStation and thus ending Nintendo’s involvement in the matter.

So in essence Nintendo screwed over Sony, not the other way around.
