Some may think that “sounding the same” for 30 years isn’t necessarily a good thing. I know people like that “old rock and roll” sound but listening to music with the same formula for 30 years would have me bored to hell.
Great work again. I wouldn’t say that they sound the same every song. It’s just that they have kept the same general style. They did switch it up everynow and then. Go chreck out RIDE ON, that’s a bit different from normal for them.
I don’t love AC/DC, but I’d be lying if I said that they weren’t one of the greatest rock bands ever. Great idea James.
You should do more stuff like this.
I started my adventure with rock music from AC/DC, so it has a strong nostalgic factor for me. I think my favorite albums are The Razor’s Edge, and Ballbreaker.

This may be true, but take a look at Metallica. Same sound for 22 years, then Saint Anger comes out with a new variation on their sound. It sucks, and fans let them know it sucks. So in 2008, Metallica goes back to their old 1980′s sound, and the fans are happy again. I have heard some criticism about the album’s sound, how it’s the same crap over and over, and I have heard the same about AC/DC and other older bands that continue to put out albums today, but as the saying goes, you can please all of the people some of the time, and you can please some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.
Problem Child was included on Let There Be Rock because Dirty Deeds hadn’t actually been released in North America yet. It was finally put out after the success of Back In Black. This also means that North American fans who heard Rocker on the live album If You Want Blood would have been thinking “where the hell did this track come from?” because Dirty Deeds wasn’t out!
Whose Idea was it? George Young, Angus and Malcom’s older brother, who was also their composer, whom was in the easybeats along with Harry Vanda, another composer for AC/DC who worked with George. also, Try the Big Gun soundtrack. One Great song along with two other classics (depends if you get the UK Version or not), plus Arny was in the film clip and was idiodiclyacting like Angus.
Also, it’s a shame they scrapped mark evans’ recording for Baby Please Don’t Go, and bad news…Phil Rudd, Drummer of Acadaca, was caught with Cannabis, and may not be allowed in other countries (I say “Fuck it! let ‘em, The Band will keep him together!)

The best and worst part about AC/DC is the fact that they don’t change their sound.

Dude, you should do a section just for chronologically confused videos.
