My favorite video keep it up. One mistake I found though was during the review of The Wizard you mentioned that in the tournament Mario Bros. 3 was a game nobody had played yet. Not true. It actually came out in Japan the year before the movie. The same year Mario Bros. 2 came out. Read about it on Wikipedia. That was one thing that pissed me off about Nintendo during the 80s and 90s how they often kept North American gamers waiting longer for new games and systems than the Japanese. The NES included. It came out in Japan in 1983 but not in North America until 2 years later. The Super NES and Super Mario World same thing. They came out in Japan in 1990 and North America 1 year later. But that seems to have stopped since the N64. Only the N64 was also internet compatible but in Japan Only. We had to wait for the GameCube and PS2 before we had that feature. That's Bullshit.

The first series of the Mario cartoon included characters from the first two games.....so that was kinda where 2 went.
And boy...the cartoons were certainly a lot of '2'.

Looking back on my NES days, I was nothing resembling the game nerd I am now. Know when the first time I heard of Super Mario Bros 3 was? when I tore the wrapping paper off it at christmas. For a game to just suddenly come out of no-where for me now is unthinkable. My mum rocked at buying games, she always bought me the best stuff.

Great review of both the game and the movie. I can recall being a kid and begging my parent to take me to see the movie, but they wouldn't because they also thought it was an overblown commercial so i had to wait for the video. Seeing Super Mario 3 was crazy and I didn't think it was real

I am surprised that you mentioned the "Armageddon" competition, but didn't shed any light on the Nintendo World Championship that followed. It was one of the biggest things cross the country in the summer of 1990. On you game list you list a Repo Cart so it wouldn't be that big of a deal to review.

Hey did you notice the sound Lucas made when he punched in the code on the power glove was the tones from Close Encounters? And also the guy who played the sleazy bounty hunter guy I thought sounded like the voice of Howard from Howard the Duck but when I researched it I found out he was George Lucas' second choice to play Luke Skywalker per Wikipedia. Just a little nerd trivia for ya!

Remember when you ducked on the block for 6 seconds. There is actually a glitch that that is used for. if you run to the end of the level, you'll notice that you go behind the black screen at the end. There is a toad house behind there where you can get a warp whistle.

On a side note, this review kicks ass!

My favorite review of "The Wizard" is the one from the Nostalgia Critic, because he told more about the movie. Don't get me wrong, I love James perspective on whan he first saw this film when he was a kid.

I played a little over the first level of SMB3, and it's a very fun game.

I absolutely love the Nintendo accessory battle suit, even when it's used in his fight with the Critic.
