The thumbnail for this on the list says “From DUCK ’till Dawn” just thought I’d let you guys know. I was like “A dusk parody? AWESOME!” then I just realized it was a spelling error, and I felt like a dumbass.

my thoughts exactly lol
From Dusk til Dawn was such a kick ass movie. Its the only movie where I actually like the George Clooney character. Its because of this movie that I kinda respect the actor.
My dad used to go to blockbuster and rent random movies when I was a kid, and this is one he picked up years ago. We had no idea what it was about, only that Quentin Tarantino had a hand in writing it. We were suckered right in by the first half of the movie, enjoying it, and then BAM, FUCKING VAMPIRES! It was the most amazing, shocking, unbelievable movie moments of my life. Having no expectations and knowing nothing about the film made this twist come completely out of left field, we weren’t expecting anything. Had we heard about this movie before hand, that would never have happened.
To this day, I always recommend people watch this movie, and never tell them anything about it before hand hoping they receive the same hilarious shock. Sadly, some people just don’t see the comedy in Tarantino’s writing, and think its cheesy and campy, but thats the point.
This is one of my all time favorite movies.. Clooney is awesome, Tarantino is awesome, Savini is awesome, Keitel is awesome.. Well.. Its awesome all the way.. One of the best vampire flicks ever, EOD!
I had a professor who used to complain about this movie to no end, mainly due to the dramatic turn the plot takes in the middle. It’s nice to see others enjoyed it as much as I did. The first time I saw it I was surprised about where it ended up, but far from disappointed. Plus Cheech Marin plays like 3 different characters. Love it.
*btw thumb on the previous page says Dust instead of Dusk
I love this movie, George Cloony is so fucking cool he’s awesome in this movie. I love the way it changes directions and turns into a full on vampire gore fest, the first time i saw this i thought it was fantastic and didn’t expect it at all.
I remember watching Death Proof, and 5 seconds after it ended, I wished I had that hour of my life back. The ending was so pathetic and such a slap in the face to those hoping for something decent. I can practically see Quentin laughing in the back of the theater.
When this movie was released in the cinema, I took my girlfriend to watch it and we both hated it but due to the scene with Salma Hayek, I told my friend to rent it when on video once released.
when he did so, I was gob smacked at it and funnily enough this time…
I LOVED IT!
Really, really enjoyed it and therefore I decided to rent it again with my girlfriend and this time she also loved it…
In fact she loved it so much, she bought it!
George Clooney’s tattoo in the film got a lot of people wishing for one themselves… some went and got it too.
Overall, the film was excellent and although it was slated by critics at the time, it has since passed into the CLASSIC department and rightly so….
This movie is one of my all time faves. The sudden change in plot is definitely a shock, but it gets the different characters to work together in a way that probably couldn’t be caused otherwise. It’s campy, it’s corny, it’s creepy, and it’s gorey as shit. Who could ask for anything more? Thank you for doing a review of this movie– a must-have for any horror collection.
Green blood to pass the censors? Well… I think that’s way better than censoring it like in Mortal Kombat for SNES. Seems you only need to know how to deal with erythrophobics (literal translation: fear of redness).

It was Tom Savini’s involvement with this movie that made it watchable.
