Jason is my favorite…..and yes he is badddddaaass. The choice not to use Kane Hodder in Freddy versus Jason pissed me the fuck off. I think they had to pay Robert Englund a buttload of money and didnt want to pay Kane Hodder……..so they got someone cheap and new.

I love these movie’s. I could sit down and watch all the friday the 13th movies back to back. I own all of them. Jason was is and always will be my Fav Slasher.

I hope they make a jason vs micheal that would be insane almost like king kong vs godzilla but its also shocking that they made a remake of jason and freddy except jason was remade in 2009 and freddy was remade in 2010 so it proves jason is better because they remade him a year early before they remade freddy i did see the first friday but thats the only one i saw including part VII the new blood to bad they brought down the bar with jason goes to hell and jason X same thing they did with halloween III season of the witch it brought down the bar i hope they make a remake of halloween III but this time put it around micheal this time instead of something else cause that movie was awful.aside of that i hope they remake jaws 4 the revenge but theres something else that happened before that film was released u see one of the camera crew was shooting when the shark was going around the dock but then a real life greatwhite shark came around and attacked the camera man so thats why it took a while before jaws the revenge was released good thing we have other killer shark series like sharkattack 1-… i dont know how many because after shark attack 3 megaladon (which happens to be my fav killer shark flick) there was malibu sharkattack and then spring break shark attack then there was red sea or excuse me deep blue sea… u know what scrap i can’t even name them all just forget it.

Love Friday the 13th. Jason Voorhees seems to slightly change his look in every movie he’s in, like the hockey mask might be different or the clothes will be different. He looked the best in Part 7 to me.
Jason Trivia: Derek Mears who played Jason in the remake also played the Predator in the new Predators film.

I know this isn’t the 1st slasher, and I don’t hink it’s the best either, but I do think it spawned the most slasher films, and I thank GOD thsi film was made, because it spawned some of the cheesiest, shittiest, early 80′s films ever made, and that’s the shit I love the most.
So, so many films man. It seemed like a new or horror film was released every week. One worse than the other, but dammit, I LOVE them all. The “My Bloody Valentine’s” “He Knows Your Alone” “The Prowler”, “Happy Birthday to Me” etc etc etc etc. I could go on all day

Being a fan of Cinemassacre.com I started watching older Horror movies to at least know the classics and I grinded through the first 3 Friday 13th movies by now. You mentioned in your “His name was Jason – Outtakes”: “And you know why he keeps ongoing? Because he doesn’t give a shit”
And that’s what I think about the movies so far: They didn’t give a shit.
First 60 minutes everyone gets killed, no one takes notice, and then it’s 20-30 minutes tripping around, wounding and not killing, running around, car doesn’t start… just a bunch of cliches and then they die anyway. Or do they…?
The reason why he//she kills people is also totally random. It “made sense” in part 1, maybe 2… but part 3? And does it even matter that it’s Friday the 13th?
My favourite part so far: Ending scene of Part 3 where you are like: “Now! He comes out of the water like in the first one… nah just a bird, nah just this, nah just that…” And then… Just cool

What can i say about jason. My favorite franchise and charector in the world. Have him tated all over my arm. Have the vhs tapes. the originals. the first box set the second hologram dvds. but not the new boxset with the mask and book. ohhh i want it. love kane hodder, and derek mears was cool. and warrington, and richard, and ted, and cj. Long live jason.

Jason is like the Ernest of the horror franchise. He’s been to camp (obviously), to Manhattan, to Hell, to Space and Elm Street. I’d like to see a slasher Ernest crossover like “A Nightmare On Vern’s Street”… I’d buy that for a dollar!
