The ”genesis” version was also for the playstation (i know sega was in on the playstation) and i remember playing it as a kid but was like three or something and i live in sweden so i hadnt learned any english at all and had no idea what i was doing in it
Dude, do you know about “New Ghostbusters II” on NES? It’s a pretty good game and the one and only i played in my childhood. But it wasn’t released in North America. So, If you didn’t seen it go check it out.
A good movie equals a bad game. (Ghostbusters)
A not so good movie equals a not so bad game. (Ghostbusters 2)
And a movie that never saw the light of day (Ghostbusters 3) equals a good game (the most recent Ghostbusters game)
An NES game in which the start button doesn’t pause the game? And this is after the Atari 2600 days.
The Genesis game DOES look impressive. And nowadays, we have “Ghostbusters: The Video Game” on modern day consoles. I haven’t played the game yet, but I have seen a walkthrough on YouTube, and it looks awesome.
I’m looking forward to see Ghostbusters 3, which is to come out in 2012 (You can insurt your own doomsday joke here, because I don’t believe in that BS).
Who would have known that the new Ghostbusters game from 2009 would be a smash hit? I guess they learned from the other pieces of shit huh? lol And how funny is it that Atari made the new game too huh? lol
The Genesis Ghostbusters game rocked, even the really bizarre final level. Challenging, yet beatable with great controls, boss fights and items. I was used to years of playing that shitty SMS Ghostbusters game and was floored upon getting my Genesis and the new Ghostbusters game as a kid.
It was never released in the US. Admittedly the time has passed to review it now but it would of been nice to see it played and mentioned here. Hard but good stuff.
He complains about using stock footage in movies all the time, yet he used dog shit stock footage in this? I guess we could assume it’s an example of using stock footage the right way but still, it doesn’t mesh well.
I suppose he thought he had to use it. The stock footage trap consumes another. I almost wish he did George Lucas-esque touch-ups and maybe that scene would have something interesting included.
James, it’s okay if you do that as long as you keep the old versions up in tandem!
I had the sega ghost busters and your right it was pretty good. Kinda want to play it right now
no, not true, ghostbusters games are a damn pieceload of shit
No not all Ghostbusters games are bad, the only reason you would have for saying that would be if you didn’t like the Ghostbusters series whatsoever.

the genises version still has a problem: it barely has anything to do with ghost busters
i think the genisis game was half decent but it’s the best out of a shitty lot

Ooohhh, the irony…
