I agree with JohnRose the powerglove sucks but it is more responsive than in this video I had one and it worked great for a few games just not so much platformers

I remember giving into the hype as a child and wanting this so bad...until that Christmas when I got one, plugged it into my NES, and was probably the most disappointed I ever remember being as a child. Even the games that were made for it sucked

i have the feeling that james didnt know how to use the power glove at this point in time. theres more programming after the program codes, and most things lead me to believe me he left turbo on the entire time

it's amazing how much motion control has...remained horrible actually. the kinect is so glitchy i'd have better luck beating Dr jekyll and mr. hyde with my eyes closed and drunk. the wii is a little bit better, but it's still a challange to get anything to work while pointing at the screen.

This inspired me to buy my own power glove. Sadly it actually works relatively well, in terms of old school stuff like this, hahaha

when he shows the nintendo in this review why isnt the little red led on?? hmm. ps i don care if this is scripted or their to show how bad this thing is. i watch it simply to kill time. and how many of you have actually used this hunk of plastic? it should have never been made. just like that virtual boy. blah.

My first AVGN episode. It's been almost a year since I watched this for the first time and it is still hilarious. I think the video would have gone a bit better if you weren't so close to the TV. That probably affected sensitivity.

Am i the only one who senses fakery in this video? It looks to me like this video was intentionally sabotaged to make the power glove look shitty. Firstly he didn't bother to properly position the sensors. They're taped like six inches back from the edge of the tv. Hell the first two times the sensors weren't even upright. The he tries to control the game from like 5 inches from the screen and wonders why he can't get a good response, not to mention he keeps pulling his hand at least a foot and a half ABOVE the sensors. And what is with the piss poor editing of this video? The constant perspective changes every few seconds does not give much believability to this video. The view keeps switching from inches to the screen, then over to the couch that's at least five feet away from the tv every few seconds. All the while the glove is moving in both shots trying to make us believe he is still trying to control the game in both shots. Ive never seen someone jump all around the room every few seconds while trying to play a game! Not in the span of 3 seconds!

I don't know much about technology, new or old, but why does this thing need three sensors, if it has a wire connecting it to the console lol?

He just seems like some cool dude to hang out and chill with over on the weekends with mike and goof off and talk about "the old days"

To defile games like Castlevania, Punch out and Zelda 2 with the Power Glove is a criminal act in some countries. This is where the Wii controller was born.

i asked for this piece of shit for xmas the first year it was out. when i got it i was so happy that none of my other presents mattered. then i remember exchanging it for a couple of games a few days later (it was like 100 bucks!).
i also remember the sticky velcro things that attached the sensors to the tv and never being able to get them off of the tv. a constant reminder of this abomination of gaming.

i noticed that when you showed clips of rad racer you werent acutally playing because its said presents and stuff like that at the bottom

In speaking of the Power Glove, I read that Sony made a similar glove acsesory for the PlayStation, and it suffered the same fate. James, do you think it would be possible to find one of these things and do a review on it? 'Cause, I'm curious on how afful it really is.
