That poor nerd clone didn't even get a chance to wipe his ass before he got killed. Can you imagine what that crime scene would look like? A dead guy with his pants around his ankles, a poopy ass, a bunch of diarrhea on the floor and his intestines ripped out. What a fucking mess.

Also, "this game's horrible" while the Nerd is asleep is one of my favorite lines in an AVGN episode. Mostly because of how it is delivered.

Can I just say: it's incredibly odd to hear the original song with "nintendo nerd" instead of "video game nerd."

It seems like some kind of alternate universe now.

A Nightmare On Elm Street is the crown jewel of horror movies, so I wanted to like this game, but really it's another massive turd from the rainbow of ass.

This is an amazing review & James covers everything you need to know about the game, except one thing. He mentions that if you collect a "dream token", you can change into a acrobat who throws javelins and jumps farther. But, you can also find tokens for a shuriken throwing/drop-kicking ninja & a magic throwing wizard.

The real nightmare would be playing this with three other people. Are there more bones to find? Y'know it'd be tough keeping track of who's who...(two guys & two girls who wear red & blue respectively). And I bet there be lots of falling to your death because the screen would stop scrolling.

One of the best episodes ever with Halloween.

This was the first AVGN I ever saw. Even from just a few years ago, this video already feels nostalgic to me. To think that this one video actually changed my life. Let's count off the things it did: 1. Gave me months worth of entertainment after I watched every other AVGN. 2. Gave me even MORE entertainment as it led me to watch the Nostalgia Critic after watching him fight the Nerd. 3. Gave me, yet again, more entertainment as I watch the dozens of others on TGWTG. (Now the real stuff) 4. Inspired me to create my own video series. Dang I wish I was still doing that. I had to...shut it down. 5. Opened me to the world of cinema as James, a man following his dream to make and love of movies, caused me to became a total movie-buff. and 6. James D. Rolfe, this man of awesome, followed his dreams and did what he loved. To see what a success it has made him, gives me, as should all of us, a sense that if we follow our dreams, we can accomplish great feats.

James, you are a great person. Your dream has sparked a dream in me. I am not yet sure what that dream is, but at the moment, I possibly dream to either act in, or create movies. But I am young, an in time, I fear, this dream may change. But no matter what I end up doing, just know: James Rolfe, you will always hold a special place in my heart, as an inspiring role model, and as a great man.

I...um...I'm sorry if I was a little preachy there....Once I start typing, I just can't stop. Oh and you might think: "One of your role models if a F-Bombing, Diarrhea-Dumping Nerd who rants on about old games?" No, one of my role models is James Rolfe, not the AVGN. My role model is the man who followed his dream, and is living it out.

James, go for it, you will one day, make that feature film, and be the next Steven Spielberg.

Dude, seriously, I love the way you shot this video, especially the part near the end where "Freddy" is stalking you. It actually creeped me out the first time I watched it!! One of my faves from the Nerd (and I've watched them all), A+

Didn't Freddy use the power glove to kill someone? Also, I think that they could make a good Freddy game out of this video. Or at least, a better one than the one you had to play.

I love these follow-up episodes. Always keep you interesting on what's gonna happen next.

What I find funny about the Power Glove moment is that Freddy used his own version of the glove in one scene of "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare."

I ve Played Most of the games you have reviewed and yes in most cases your right, but I love this game

Even though the game is tripe theres something nice about playing it alone at like 2am with the lights off, same goes for friday the 13th. The games suck but theres that nostalgic feeling to them.
