The Night Prowler (2002)

Mike Matei / December 20th, 2002

A class assignment in film studies to shoot something approximately 2 minutes in one fluent take. I cheated by cutting every time I spun the camera around. I wanted to see how many times I could get away with it. The professor liked the way I cheated and gave me an A.

I’m guessing that any film you made with Black Sabbath music has had the music removed for copyright issues. Anyway, nice trickery with the cutting and blurred motion–it made it feel as if the prowler was everywhere.

    Your words have weight.
    Your mind is dark,
    and entertaining.

That was very clever idea, It certainly allowed you to achieve more then what would have been plausible. Is this at all inspired by London after Midnight?
