The Spread of Malevolence (1997)

Mike Matei / December 16th, 1997

My first remake of A Night of Total Terror (1996). It was never finished. A decade later, it was edited by Conrad Faraj who did an awesome job!

In this film I liked the buildup of suspense, James. The majority of the film I was conjuring up what twisted thing that skull could be causing. I liked the absence of dialogue (the whole film could have been without it). Sometimes silence speaks louder than words, and it certainly adds momentum to the suspense.

all of these independent movies done by Cinemassacre are really inspiring, i can’t express how important they are to me.
The Spread of Malevolence, the deader the better, Munky Jeez,Kung fu Werwolf from outer space, curse of the cat lover’s grave, and stoney are some of my favorites! But my personal favorite is Cinemassacre 200.
