Red Zombie (1997)
Thursday, December 4th, 1997
A zombie movie I made, somewhat inspired by the cult classic White Zombie (1932), was shot on VHS and edited on two VCR’s. It was never finished, but as of 2010, we’re considering finishing the last scenes with all the original actors, just for fun. UPDATE: So far, not happening.
There’s that eyeball again, man you got a lot of use out of that thing. I was hoping the kid would go for the chainsaw! I’m guessing about when it was time to film the chainsaw parts the actors got “bored” real fast. Excellent garage door usage though.
Good choice with Prodigy!
YES! I’ve been waiting for you to post this thing. Up till now we only got clips of it in Cinemassacre 200 and the trailer. This was really cool, and brings back awesome memories of making movies with my friends back in the day.
Considering when and how this was made, it is freaking cool. A remake would definitely be something to consider one day. Ha-ha awesome.
chessey diolouge fake blood and tht nasty green stuff in their mouths i love it
I liked that. The blond boy was pretty good and was actually pretty funny. Very nice work, especially when it was from your youth. I have to say that your use of what you have, the koolaid fake hands etc, was well done. I honestly can’t wait for you to actually direct an actual zombie motion picture. Just one question, how old were you when you made this?
I love it!!!
I haven’t seen a movie this theaters for the past year that hasn’t entertained me as much as this1 I hope you can finish it soon!
DOOM music : D
@TomM hmmmmmm if he is 31 now and it was made 14 years ago he is 15?
It’d be so awesome to see you finish this! Even if you did it w/ action figures like you did back in the day. These Cinemassacre classics are my filmmaking bible.
Only a lover of horror would like this.
